..i woke up in a hotel room
and i dont remember anything about

How long she had been sitting there, staring at the stars, was unknown, even to her. She did not keep time, nor allow time to keep her, rather choosing to drift wherever the wind would take her. Her green eyes reflected the fading starlight, a hint of lonliness behind her mask of unfeeling. She surprised herself when she felt a lone tear streak down her cheek.
"Heh." She wiped the tear away with her sleeve and stood up. She was sitting in one of the upper branches of the tree, watching the sunrise creak over the tops of the other trees. "Sentimental fool." She scolded herself, then paused as a refreshing breeze washed over her. With a sigh of reluctance she dropped through the layers tree branches and landed softly on the deck of the inn.
Entering the door she stared about the emptiness in the quiet of the morning. The emptiness seemed to soothe her, fit her. A cold home for a cold heart. With a sigh she went to the kitchen to make some toast.

"Mistress Rika, I'd be happy to make that toast and the other parts of breakfast for you." Vianne was not sure if she should serve everyone, but this was the establishment's proprietor after all. Though the mistress would like her own independancy, Vianne was sure that she wouldn't grudge her a question of service.
