Tori began to wander around the shop, in an attempt to calm herself from the loud crashes... looking at odd trinkets to wonderous items she'd never seen before, not being around humans much.

Moth came out of the back room with a metal tube in tow. "Here eet ees," he said as he unscrewed the lid of the tube and pulled out the rolled up chart. He unrolled it and layed it out on the counter. "As for the reever, eet runs straight through the ceety...you can't meess eet," he added.

Tori looked up from her browsing with a slight smile on her face and blushed as her stomach growled. She then pushed her emberresment aside, "thank you very much, I suppose that would be an opportune place for the city... now I have a few questions, if you don't mind..."
She stepped forward and placed three rather large marbles, the color and clarity of rubies except for one small flaw inside one.
"Now, would you mind telling me if I could get a price for these? I... er... inherited them. They go together, I know that much, and the flaw causes the valuse to drop quite a bit, i'm sure, but I'm told in the right light, they glow as pretty as a mournful sunset..." she trailed off as if agonizing to part with the small marbles.
"really, I'm looking to trade them for some food..." the blush tinted her face again.

Moth shook his head and closed Torri's fist about the marbles. "Keep them... you'll need them some day. I am weelling to share a meal with you for free," he said.

Tori looked stunned "I thank you* and she curtsied. "you are truly kind" but she looked alarmed, as if expecting some catch or trickery, but held her tongue for fear of desturbing her gratitude and chances at a free meal.

Moth smiled. "Don't worry. No trickery. Since you aren't weeth my brother, I am weeling to share a meal. Had you been weeth my brother, I would have made you leave," he explained.

"why do you dislike your brother so?" Tori asked, though pretended not to be too interested. She has a thing for drawing on people's distaste for others... I twas a major part of her line of work. She toyed with the small marbles in her pocket and listend for Moth's reply.

"It just seems a pity for such a distatse among family members" Tori paused and caught herself, "but that is none of my buisness" she said as a quick end to her prying and reached for a small waterskin bag in her supplies. Then, she idoly walked around the shop, taking sips, and attemtping to think of polite conversation to avoid the silence.
Silence usually kills: was the lesson she often had to learn, but social skills evaded her.

Sara walked into the shop, her eyes quickly and descreetly scanning the shelves for any valuable items she might be able to nick. She fingered the army green choker at her neck as she wandered deeper into the shop, looking for someone to talk to. She heard voices coming from the back of the shop and walked towards them.

Tori turned sharply at the sound of footsteps behind her. In the process of turning, she tripped and fell to the ground. A scowl tinted with the slight pain of falling crossed her face and she glared at the newcomer, angry at her cause of emberresment.

"Fine!" Tori sneered at the newcommer, before getting a hold of her anger. "I was startled, thats all" she stated as cooly as possible now... She looked around the room for anything to stare at that wasn't within the vicinity of Sara's face.

Sara was taken aback by Tori's somewhat snide comments, but maintained her composure. She turned to Moth instead. Taking out a thin beaded bracelet she had stolen a few days earlier, Sara asked, "Could you tell me how much this is worth?"
