Startled, he sat there for a moment before wrapping his own arms around her, hugging tightly. "No... I don't mind." I haven't been shown this much affection since... I don't remember. Gazing at the sand, he rested his head on her shoulder.

As he returned it with his own slight zeal, she hugged him closer now, arms curled tightly around his waist. Her lips grazed his chin as she sighed faintly, though it sounded reminiscent of content.

"I want you to see... what I'm protecting." White murmured softly, loosening his arms and sitting there, not really wishing to move.

She tightened her grip for another moment before releasing him, nodding, "Aye, what is it yer gonna show me now?" Crossing her arms, a soft rose still painted her cheeks.

"My village." He stifled a yawn, covering his mouth with a hand, and then rose lazily.

"Oh," she replied with a bit of a giggle at herself. She edged closer to him now, tilting her head back. "Lead th' way, then."

Flicking her nose lightly, he turned and walked with a quick pace.

Reeling a bit from the 'blow,' she snickered and jogged to catch back up. Now stepping at the same hasty pace as him, she yawned. "'Bout 'ow far?"

"Quite a ways." He nodded, walking a bit slower. "We can stop for lunch a bit later."

"Works fer me," she muttered and shrugged, pace slowing to catch his.

It was a good long while that they walked, him lost in thought, while leading the way through the forest to his village. The path they took was rather flat and trees covered most of the area around the pathway, making it seem narrow.
It was nice for a nature hike, however, if one thought of it as such.

Along the way, she as well did little but think and keep a close eye on him. They'd gone so far in but three or four days; from a side conversation in an ale house to him showing her his village. She felt this big and began walking slowly closer, though was almost sure he wouldn't notice. Protectively, her hand clutched her saber; who knew what lay before them.
She certainly enjoyed the walk, though.

"You don't need to be afraid. The only monsters here are friends of mine." He glanced at her, then back to the path they were walking on.
Was that a bit of a grin that was shadowed upon his face...?

"Aye," she murmured softly and lowered her hand from her weapon, relieved.
Eyes shifting back to him, she took note of that amused grin, huffing softly in return.

"Want to stop for lunch? It's been about four hours." He glanced at the sky, then at the spot they had recently walked into.
It was a large clearing of sorts, though not overly too big; a cherry blossom tree was in the center, and small bushes surrounded the base. Glancing up at it, White had to smile.
