((Really? I dun think I'm doing a good job though...))
He sat down and swung his legs over the water. The fresh air relaxed him, almost taking away his fears. "It can't be too bad..." A cool breeze blew past him. He stared at himself in the water, trying to push the irritating worries to the back of his mind.

As they approached the docks Yami noticed a small boy with blue hair sitting by the water. He recognized the boy from the test earlier that morning; the one that had reminded him of Yuugi. "Hello, we were'nt expecting to find anyone else down here," he realized that he'd spoken for both of them with out stopping to think if Seto had actually felt the same way or not, but continued none the less, "It's Marafuuji-kun, right?"

Hearing someone speak to him shocked Shou so much, that he almost fell into the water. Quickly he stood up and bowed. "Uhh...Y-yes, thats me." He felt funny. 'A higher rank shouldn't be talking to me...' he thought. Straightening out his Osiris jacket, he looked up to see the man from earlier.

Seto followed and stood back, watching Yami talk to the same boy they had seen earlier that day. He folded his arms loosely over his chest, but not in a defensive manner at all. More like an 'I'm bored' stance than anything really, but he'd humor Yami and maybe talk to the blue haired boy. "Marafuuji you say? The name sounds familiar..."

Shou sighed deeply. 'Can't go a day with out being known as 'his' little brother.' "My brother goes to school here." He managed to say, his voice quivering slightly. Being around the higher ranks was making him some what nervious, and knowing him, they could probably tell.

"What is it? I just asked an innocent question. I mean I have heard of your brother, he's pretty good." Seto started, looking at Shou for a moment. Normally he wouldn't care if he hurt someone else's feelings, but he acted just like Mokuba did when he got scared.

Shou continued to look downwards. "Yeah, he's good." 'Better than I'll ever be.' He scuffed his shoe agenst the ground. "One of the best, I guess." He mumbled his last bit of words.

"You shouldn't feel too bad. You remind me of my brother in a couple ways. But that's a good thing, so don't take offense to it." Seto started, watching Shou for a moment. He stood near Yami, although he didn't really know why he did so.

((I'm back. Except with the slight fact that I never left. I just didn't know what to post, no one was on, the guild wasn't moving along, and now with college gonk ...whatever. I'd like to come back if it's okay with everyone.
I just forget where Ryou went and how to get him to interact with people. sweatdrop I'll be back later...gotta sleep.))

Shou looked up at the taller one. "I won't take offense to it." he said, not knowing weather he should be happy or mad about it. Slowly becoming less nervous around the two, Shou kept his arms to his side and he didn't look down. At the moment, he didn't know what to do.

Seeing that his older brother was an uncomfortable subject for Shou, Yami decided to move onto a different topic. "Well, you must be a pretty good duelist yourself, after all, you made it into the academy, which is a feat in itself." He saw that the other boy was an osiris red, but as far as he was concerned, the color of one's jacket didn't matter nearly as much as everyone else in the school seem to think, "Do you like it here so far?"
((Well, Emrys, there has been a bit of a time jump since the older post, so you'd be pretty safe having Kaiser come in anywhere, really. Everyone was sent back to their dorms to get settled in, but since Kaiser is a third year, he wouldn't necessarily have had to do that. So it's up to you really.

Shou looked back down. "I barely made it into this school. I'm one of the worse..." He mumbled and stuffed his hands in his pants pockets. Pushing that aside, he thought about it. "I guess its ok here..." He said.

((Thanks everyone! Glad to be back!))
Kaiser Ryou walked down the familiar path towards the harbor. He always went here whenever he wanted to think, and now, with the new promising students he saw at the opening ceremonies, as well as the arrival of his brother, he wanted some peace and quiet from the noise of the new freshmen at the Obelisk dorm.
As he came around the corner, he found his brother talking to the two duelists that were the subjects of his thoughts. As usual, his brother wasn't exhibiting any kind of confidence in himself. Well, I guess I'll see what's going on, thought Ryou, as he came down the path into view of the harbor.

"If you keep talking like that, you'll start to believe it. You'll do fine, I mean you'll be here for awhile. And in that time you can get as good as your brother, or me." Seto spoke, almost not noticing Ryou as he appeared at the docks. Granted he wasn't totally in eyesight yet, but he caught a glimpse of the third year Obelisk uniform that he saw earlier.

He saw his brother coming closer. 'I gotta go!!' his head was screaming for him to turn and walk away. He didn't want to speak with his brother on the first day. But he couldn't move. He was frozen there. He managed to sigh and mumble something under his breath.
