The food was served not long after and they both began to eat. "I apologise that it isn't much but I have the same amount of rations as everyone else." He explained as he ate his portion.

"Are you kidding me?", he looked at him wide-eyed. "That's more I've had ... Like ever!" He ate with pleasure enjoying the taste of the freshly made food. "Mmmmh! This is great!"

"I usually eat leftovers or whatever I find out there", he said and drew a sad face. "Someimes it's hard to find food but saurin keeps me from starving. I just ... ack, nevermind". He carried on eating, enjoying every single bite.

He looked up from his plate, smiling at Khaliaan sweetly. He feltmhimself blush a little. "That's a very kind offer, sire", he said, knowing he would not be able to stay forever though.

He scratched the back of his head. "Wow, I didn't think it would mean that much to you". He finished off his plate, feeling rather full for the first time in ages. He had a swift glance out of the window and realised the sun was already setting. Nighttime brought the evil dragons out from their hidden dens ....
