They're not that bad...I have one and a couple other guns that I use to go hunting with because I loathe eating meat from the grocery store...so loaded with hormones, pesticides and antibiotics...eek.

Getting a gun is more trouble than it's worth. Lisencing and everything. And I have no use for one really. I'll just use my swiss army knife. Besides, it's shiny and I can rupture my aorta. =D I've been obsessed with the aorta ever since I saw "Girl Interrupted". Oh Angelina Jolie...
@Brandon Taylor I weep for thee. That sounds horrid.

@Brandon Taylor I weep for thee. That sounds horrid. Trust me Swiss army knives are not good for stabbing and cutting thing.... you should get yourself a "Gerber".... though they cost like $50 for a decent one... you can pay $120 for a heat tempered one that never goes dull...... especially if you want to get at your Aorta......... that will be an awfully messy quick way to go

I swear to God, the next person who tells me one day that I will change my mind about having kids is going to have "Oh yeah, well not if I get a vasectomy first" thrown back at them. I do not want kids. I already have to deal with three younger siblings, including on who has a disability and is difficult to care for.
I am never allowing my own seed to walk the earth unchecked. I don't care what anyone says. I am not taking chances. I never want to have kids.

I swear that that operation is going to be my first purchase, other than food and bills sfter I move to my new apartment.
I share your frustration. Especially after having to babysit the kid of a friend of mine, just so she could have some free time...long story. (Didn't know that was the reason when I'd grudgingly agreed.)

"You'll change your mind" is like a curse word. Worse than "flexible". >.> I won't get into flexible though. That requires a great deal of time explaining about a drama teacher who couldn't teach worth crapand made me homicidal for a while. ^^
It's rather creepy though when the person saying "you'll change your mind" is someone of the opposite gender who potentially has feelings for you. gonk Well, he did at one time... quite noticably for a year and a half. Then he stopped following me around hopelessly like half a year ago. But a couple weeks back we were discussing having children. I said I wouldn't he argued I'd change my mind and I told him I'd never bear a child then he was like "Then you'll adopt! A little Japanese kid too. And they'll be so cute..." Scariest conversation I've had in a while. xp
Random completely unrelated comment. Brandon and Xander, your screen names always make me think of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. o.o Xander Harris was Buffy's friend and the actor that played him was Nicholas Brendon. I make such wierd associations.

The more that I look at the world around me, the more determined I become to never have offspring of my own. The youth of today do not give me any reason to change my mind.

I've overheard one too many conversations on the bus between people whose sole interests were their kids and how much time they and/or their relatives had done in jail. gonk
