amusedandconfused Yilanti Midnight amusedandconfused Yil: Beat him, but lost Crysta, my Budew, while doing so. That's my first casualty. Aww. And Budew's are so cute too. Speaking of grass types, ever since I lost Miranda the Gloom I've been really annoyed by water types. I've got nothing to kill them fast and they're constantly beating me up. I got a lucky break however. On route 119 (Why so much high grass, zigzagoons and rain?) I caught another Oddish, yay! It's a guy though. xD And I have to get to the next town to take it out of its pc box. Yeesh. and in Hoenn, there's like fifty bajillion water types. My lucky break wasn't as lucky as I hoped. My new Oddish knows no grass attacks. T.T Gaaaah. @Strong-bad: Aww, I hope I didn't curse you! Speaking of bad stuff, there's a dual battle on route 120 that is CRAZY. It's a level Manectric and Castform (that turns into rainy castform) and they spam Thunder like no one's business. Thunder is an insane move that deals too much damage, even to types that don't usually get a lot of damage from electric. My team got killed twice and I had to reset twice. And to make matter worse, when I use my ground type they just water pulse it to death. How is this fair?

I bet the Fire-Ground-ness doesn't help against water pulse...I guess you need to grind. and grinding is always rather sucky.

And he's 6 levels higher. Raaaaaaaaage. But yeah, I need to grind. xD I also discovered I forgot to take a route somewhere else. I suppose I can go to that first and own all those trainers. EDIT: Also I found a heart scale and I'm sooo teaching my new Oddish a good grass move. EDIT2: He can only learn Absorb. Better than nothing I guess...

I set out to that route... And it took so long just to get there, I was like SCREW IT. Going to beat Winona so that at least I can use Fly out of battle.
And the good news is that Winona is ridiculously easy if you have a good rock and fire move. In my case, Rollout and Blaze kick. Easiest badge get. Now grinding is easier.
And Trapinch evolved. Omg Dragonbreath. heart
I swear one day I will tackle the E4 in Platinum. D=

I could never beat the Sinnoh Elite Four myself. Never got past Lucien. It's gonna be near impossible for Nuzlocking...I might cheat and trade my Pokemon to Heart Gold, train them with the EXP bonus, and then trade back.

I hate that trainer you have to help in Eterna Forest. she's useless! And now my Zubat, Justin, is dead because she didn't attack the Pokemon with only 1 HP left. Oh no, she had to use Softboiled! My poor Justin...

I managed to make it without using up my potions by switching out like crazy most of the time, an overleveling Dresden, my Machop, on like a billion Bunearys.

Long time no post, sorry sweatdrop I've been playing a lot lately so here's a list of what's happened since my last post:
- Defeated Lt. Surge with Katie, almost lost her in the process.
- Received Ronald the Squirtle from Officer Jenny in Vermilion City.
- Caught Paula the Rattata on Route 11. I was hoping for a Drowzee, but ok...
- KO'd my first encounter on Route 9, a Nidorino, by accident. FFFFUUUU-
- Caught Carl the Magnemite on Route 10. I was glad to get another electric type, but I don't think anyone could ever replace Davey crying
- First encounter in Rock Tunnel was a Zubat. KO'd it with no mercy. I taught Alicia Flash so getting through wasn't that hard.
- Reached Lavender Town, got creeped out by the music. Decided to wait until I got the Silph Scope to tackle Pokemon Tower.
- Caught Rasputin the Kadabra on Route 8 and Olga the Abra on Route 7. AAAAWWW YEEEEAAAAH!!
- Reached Celadon City, defeated Erika with Nigel and Cora. Found an Eevee (Ziggy) in Celadon Mansion. Still haven't decided what I'm going to evolve him into...
- Cora, Alexis, Katie, and Ronald have all evolved.
So yeah, that's what's happened, in a nut shell. Now to break into Team Rocket's Hideout and kick some a**!!

The second the Abra appeared I put it to sleep so it couldn't escape twisted Same with the Kadabra, but it woke up for a second and gave me quite a scare by trying to teleport away. Somehow, it didn't get away and after one Pokeball and two Greatballs I was able to get it.

Yilanti Midnight My Abra's always teleport away. ;.; That's why I try to always have at least one Pokemon in my party who knows a move that puts the opponent to sleep. Whenever I go into a new area, I put that Pokemon first in line just in case something like an Abra shows up. For both my Abra and Kadabra, my Butterfree, Simon, was the one that took them on with Sleep Powder. Yesterday I made it through the Rocket Game Corner, but the parts of the ground that would shoot you in one direction were so annoying to navigate stressed . After that, I went back to Pokemon Tower and kicked Gary's a** .I forgot to challenge him when I first reached Lavender Town so all my Pokemon vastly outleveled his. Also, I realised that Gary is a real jerk: "You're Pokemon don't look dead, BUT I CAN MAKE THEM FAINT!!" Really, Gary, really?
