"They don't like you?" Senna asked Mr. Siff. "What did that one kid mean about being trapped?" Senna asked. She was confused. She thought that this could be what she felt was so scary about him. She could sense the fear from the other workers there and it rubbed off on her. Is there really any reason to fear Mr. Siff? Senna thought to herself once more that if Mr. Siff was intent on keeping everyone who walked in here trapped it would be bad for his business, and in any case no one has been able to stop her from leaving somewhere before, why would this place be any different? Keeping that in mind Senna thought hard about what she would say next, if Mr. Siff continued to insist that she work there.

Siff took a pause as he watched the kids go back to tying the net.
"This...carnival has rules... that apply to all who enter."
His eyes snapped back to the Scarlet Angel, accompanied by his smile.
"And... I've never known exactly why they don't favor my presence."
It was a clear hint to the others to back off their protests, though the edge in his voice was barely there... otherwise it sounded like a lighthearted comment.
Bobby resisted the urge to turn around again and glare at the ringmaster, or shout out like Seth had done. He was still dreading what his friend's punishment would be... hadn't there been enough grief for one lifetime?

"Oh..." She thought for a moment, hesitating for only a moment before she said. "OK... on one condition." she nodded and looked at Siff, she blushed thinking about what her condition was.
