SgtElias It's really hard to choose a favourite. But I think "Something to Sing About" was mine. The dancing, not so hot, but the rest was, um, faboo. sweatdrop Crap. And does anyone else besides me feel gipped that there weren't any Troika songs in the musical? It would have been cool to have a Troika song. My fav was Where do we go from here.

Ooh, I love that song! I like when Spike snaps out of it and realizes that he doesn't have to be there anymore.
"Bugger this!"

Walk through the fire is my fave....It's got so many layers and well I actually Love SMG's voice.....I love the fact that she wasn't trying to hide the fact that she wasn't a singer by trade. It was really honest .

In all honesty, I loved the episode when I first saw it. But since I had taped it and watched it so many times that I knew what every person was going to say, I got kinda bored with it. Now, don't be mad at me for saying what I just said. I loved the musical because I love the fact that they all got to sing and dance. I loved the songs, and I loved the fact that they all spoke what they were thinking/feeling. *Which was a better way to get it out of them, than Buffy having to read their minds (refering to "Earshot")*. The ending was lovely. Although, you could kind of tell it was going to happen, because if you listen to the lyrics at the end of "Where Do We Go From Here", it says "The curtains close on a kiss god knows...". But it was still a very touching ending. I could have started crying while Buffy was singing about how she was in heaven, because the look on Willow's face was truely *sp?* heartbreaking. I loved Giles' emotional song "Standing In the Way". Xander and Anya's song was so funny that it almost brought tears to my eyes. And who could honestly forget "Rest In Peace"? Ah. That was in my Spike days. I remember when my dear friend RamiaAnimorphis *I believe some of you know her well* and I watched that episode for the first time. When Buffy walked into Spike's crypt, we started jumping up and down screaming like giddy school girls. We turned up the volume so loud that you could probably hear it outside. We were young...and hopeless... Yes those were indeed the-...erm..Sorry, got a bit carried away. Anyway, to finish off this paragraph that probably some of you are going to skip, I want to say that I love this episode, but after watching it one too many times, it becomes a bit boring.
Maybe I would have liked it more if the Troika was in it... Hmmm.... That would have been grand. xd

SgtElias So is Hush. Gods, great episode. Isn't it kind of ironic that the two (arguably) best episodes of Buffy ever were opposite? I mean, Hush = near about total silence and all about expressing yourself without words. Then we have Once More With Feeling, which was full of song and dance, and all about letting out everything that wasn't being said. Interesting...
