I recently quit and won't be posting there anymore, but my gallery's still there. It's mostly ToS, though, because I suck and haven't gotten around to drawing much more. Besides OCs and a bit of Legendia and other anime.

Since this stuff isn't really purely aniem it'll probably be ignored buuut, here: This is a drawing of Shirley I did from a little while back. I am quite proud of it. Do you realize the work people put into this, just to get spammed like that? Actually, for cleaning purposes, I don't shade until I'm on photshop, otherwise the lines get confusing. Just wait till you see it done. And I thought my face looked fine and Ly's didn't deserve that. EDITZ: Also, if you're going to bother to critisize, at least be a little more specific. EXAMPLE: "work on faces" doesn't help anything. Instead, saying ((pulling this outta nowhere) "If you were to fix the smile, the face might look a little better" not only helps, but doesn't offend as much. [/criticism on criticism]

You want specific? Alright.
Move away from the generic anime bullshit is the biggest criticism I can give you. Your faces are too flat, the bodies are bony, flat and disproportionate. And in general it's not aesthetically pleasing.
The same is applied to you, jaykid. Though I'd also get a better scanner resolution.
edit: Your "criticism" on my criticism is bland, personalitiless and far, far worse than the drawings you post. You are not amerikkan idol material+are the weakest link, goodbye

What is your problem? I was hoping for some decent, helpful, and respectful criticism. And I'm not about to get a new scanner. I never said the drawing was done, but I guess it's my fault for not clarifying that. I draw sketchy, but I clean it up later and it looks fine. I was hoping to get some pleminary (spelling?) criticism, but I suppose I needed to clarify that. I apologize on that affront.
But then I read your edit, and I have to say I'm thoroughly offended. Who ever said I wanted to be "American Idol" anyway? I draw for fun, and post for fun. You can't blame me for getting mad at someone who's criticism is overly harsh. My criticism is "bland"? "Personalitiless?" I was simply explaining my reason for my previous reaction. I thought surel I made it easy enough to understand, and that would be fine, but apparently not.
I hope you can understand my perspective, and in turn I will try to understand yours.
