She looked up at him. Her eyes were red and watery. Obviously she had been crying. "I'm sorry for leaving like that....are you okay?" she asked referring to him panting. Her voice sounded depressed.

Slowly regaining his breath, Xaix nodded, looking at her sadly before sitting down next to her. "I'll be fine...listen Tasusa, don't let what Takio said get to you." He started saying, gently taking hold of her closest had. "Humans...they aren't really good at accepting that they aren't the only humanoid species on this planet sometimes..." With his free hand, Xaix brought it up to her face and wiped away the tears that had remained on her cheeks.

She shook her head. Tears cotinued forming and falling down her cheeks. "It's not only him! Everyone thinks the same thing! Remember Melody and Elena? They hate me too because I'm a vampire...."she said looking away. "All I ever hear since I was small is that vampires are evil, watchout for them, they are a disgrace, etc. Sometimes I wish I hadn't been born." she said buring her face on her knees.

Xaix shook his head, moving his hand from hers to around her shoulder. "Not everyone believes that, and I'm not just talking about me...there's Oceana, Kane, Hanaki, Abby, Nero...with Elena it was more a disliking because she had a crush on me, Melody only hated Vampires because of what Thextera did. You're on good terms with each other from what I remember" Carefully, he pulled Tasusa closer to him into a hug. "I know people can change, their opinions about Vampires for some will as well...and the ones that won't, well, they aren't worth the trouble...just please, Tasusa, I can't bare to see you cry any further."
(sorry, christmas shopping, cooking and picking my brother up from his friend's house have pretty much taken over today gonk )

Tasusa looked at Xaix. She tried to smile but she couldn't. "You haven't been made fun of or ignored by others or mistreated because of your race." she said looking at him. "I know you're trying to make me feel better but my entire life, and we're talking about hundreds of years, being treated that way affects. A lot." she said hugging him back tightly. She was still crying slightly.

Xaix gave a small smile. "No, I haven't been made fun of...not here anyway...when I was with my dad when he worked, lots of people whispered things about me, not knowing that I could hear them. Freak, abomination and creature are just a few labels I remember." he explained. It might not have been the most cheerful of things to say, but he wanted her to know that she wasn't alone, that she never would be.

"You're terrible at cheering up people, but....I appreciate the attempt." she said smiling a little at him. She kissed his cheek. "Thank you, but...I still think I shoudn't have been born. I'm usless unless I suck blood." she said looking away.

Xaix quickly yet gently turned her head back so she was facing him. "Don't ever say you shouldn't have been born." He whispered, his smile was still a little sad but not as much as before. "If it weren't for you, I may not have gained the confidence to talk to other people...I never would have known what it was like to love someone as much as I love you." Xaix said, kissing her lightly on the lips. (Haha, sorry, but this came out recently and made me think about what you said about Xaix meeting Tasusa's parents xd )

Tasusa kissed him back but then broke the kiss and hugged him tightly. "I love you too Xaix." she said now crying from happiness. "You're the best thing that has ever happened to me." she said still huggin him. She still felt depressed but Xaix had made her feel a bit better.

Xaix hugged her back, glad she cheered up, even if just a little. Smiling as he slowly broke the hug, he wiped the newly formed tears away from her face before standing up and extending his hand out to her. "Come on, how about you and I go for a walk?" He said, hoping it would take her mind off of things.

As he helped Tasusa up, Xaix couldn't help but notice the shyness. "What? Don't tell me you still aren't used to being so close to me." He said light-heartedly, now slipping his hands around her waist.

Xaix smiled, letting go of her and taking her hand once more, kissing her on the cheek in the process. Suddenly, he took a slight step backwards so Tasusa was in front by a little. "It just doesn't feel right when you aren't dragging me." He said cheerfully. "Anywhere in particular you want to go?"

She smiled at him and hugged him. She felt much better now. "I feel better now. Now I can drag you." she said kissing him slightly on the lips. "Not really. Want to go to my cherry blossom tree spot?" she asked looking at him as she took hold of his arm and clung to him.
