The instructor's approval made her smile in the dark and relax somewhat. She nodded at the lesson that everyone should know the strengths and weaknesses of their enemy, even though she wasn't sure if anyone could see her.

Miles prepared to take notes on her computer, worrying only for a moment that keys might distract the rest of the class. She typed as quietly as she could about the different types of dragons and was certain to note that Hexadragons were the weakest and most common of them. It didn't seem like that knowledge was too useful right then, but she was certain it would prove itself necessary at some point. No such thing as useless information as far as she was concerned.

The image switched then and Miles looked up from the change in lighting. But she almost jumped at the Hexadragon because it did look rather scary. There was nothing in the picture to give it any relational size, but she knew that it had to be big and strong. That's what dragons always were, or at least that's what she was told.

It surprised her that the other student knew as much as he did about the dragons. Truthfully, it was a bit shameful that she hadn't guessed immediately that Hexadragons had something to do with six. The picture should have at least helped her along with that...but there was nothing she could do about that now. She only waited to hear the instructor confirm what the student said before adding it to her notes.

"While that is a very reasonable assumption, Hexadragons have the ability to absorb both fire and poison, so attacking with a poison based weapon is actually counterproductive. However, they have a severe weakness to water magic, so junctioning water magic to your weapon is extremely beneficial. Can anybody else tell me about their attacks?" Aki says, looking around the room.

"this may also be a resonable assumption but don't Hexadragons use a Breath attack on there foes as well and Miss Aki I told you wrong on the Poison base weapon but isn't advise to use the Poison Status on a Hexadragon" Hunter tryed to correct himself on Poison for he had forgotton that Hexadragons absord Poison

Antigone raises her hand and says, "They also use fire magic, right?"

Sorri glanced up at the teacher's not so subtle message. After receiving 'the look', she decided that dragons could be more interesting than ASCII faces for a while. As she glanced up at the screen, it changed over to a somewhat grotesque and mutated looking dragon. Eew. Thanks, Instructor Aki. A thick-tailed monster with six legs and too many eyes was exactly what Sorri was hoping to learn about today.

As Hunter desperately tried to prove himself correct, Sorri slipped back into a land where nothing made sense. She mentally fit a saddle onto the dragon's back and imagined how awesome it would be to ride one of those into battle, its breath melting the enemy and a trail of fire being left in its wake... Lectures had never really appealed to her, but this way, she would never forget the attacks of a hexadragon. Assuming Hunter and the girl were right, anyway.

Aki frowns slightly, but shakes it off before continuing.
"Poison should never be used on a Hexadragon. It's biggest weakness is water. As for it's attacks, it does have a non-elemental breath attack, and can use high level fire spells. They also have physical attacks of course, but one you should watch out for is what's called a 'melt-eye' attack, which is a dangerous fire based attack.
However, even though it's attacks are strong, the Hexadragon is by far the easiest to defeat. It should still not be taken lightly, but you probably have the best chance beating one of these guys than one of it's older siblings," Aki says, glancing up at the picture with a smile.
As much as she found all monsters fascinating, Dragons were by far her favorite. She had studied every book about them since she was about eight, and had gotten in trouble more than once for trying to find Blue and Red Dragons while living at Trabia.
"Now, there are four kinds of magic that can be drawn from Hexadragons. Does anyone know, or care to venture a guess?" she says, continuing with the lesson.

This is the stuff that was all new to Adara. She didn't know a damned thing about Dragons and fighting them and what their attacks were and what they were weak against; she only knew the legends and mythology behind the various iconic dragons. This is why she continued to come to class, even though she didn't have to. There was always something new to learn.

And it was a good thing she had been paying attention. One of her two offensive magics was Bio, which wouldn't do her any good against a Hexdragon. Note to self....

Adara prefered writing her notes down in a book rather than on the computer. That way she could have it anywhere she went. So she went about scribbling down the information as it was being confirmed, using the pauses between notes to gently rub her fingers against Alexei's arm or knee. She still felt the want to be close to him after their conversation outside of Blank's class.

Xero sat in the class listening to the student's answers and the Instructor's lesson. He finally thought he knew one or two answers himself. He stood and spoke, "I believe I know two or three of the magics to be drawn from the Hexadragon. Bio,Fira,Firaga and maybe something neutral for the fourth."

Alexei glanced over at Adara as her hand brushed his leg, and smirked subtly as he caught her fingers with his and held them loosely until he had something new to write. He still wrote in Crescent, so his notes were incomprehensible to everyone else, but they were easier for him in his native language rather than trying to write quickly and decipher them in English.

Although she was good with magic, she didn't know any water spells. Not then, anyway. Hopefully she could learn, because if she ever went up against one of those, Miles wouldn't want to be caught without her magic and her best weapon because she doesn't have the right kind. But fighting a creature with an attack called "melt-eye" wasn't high on her list of things she wanted to do someday.

Despite her personal knowledge of magic, she didn't know what magic could be drawn from that type of dragon. Others seemed to be braver or have a handle on it, so she stayed quiet and waited. The poor kid that kept guessing at poison, though, he was having a hard time with it. If the Instructor says you're wrong, the best idea is to stop asking...even if you're certain that you're right.

But eventually, her waiting paid off. The student who answered was difficult to see in the dimly lit room, but he looked ready for combat right then and there. It made sense that he would be the one to answer her questions about such daunting creatures.

Hunter Hearing what Xero andswerd he knew that any Fire base spell could be drawn but he didn't know Bio could be drawn but he will leave that to Aki to explain "I think some of the other Spells you can draw from Hexadragon are Shell and Dispell along with Fire, Fira, and Firaga" HUnter this time wasn't sure of himself but he had to take a guess at it

Aki nods, hearing some right answers.
"You can draw any level of fire, depending on the strength and age of the particular Dragon, Dispel, Shell, and Protect. Unfortunately, even though it absorbs poison, that is not a spell you can draw. It doesn't use any poison based attacks, it simply has an immunity to it.
So that pretty much sums up Hexadragons... are there any questions before we move on?" Aki asks, glancing around the room.

Shiro was, for the most part, struggling to get long in this class. Last time they were out there actually fighting monsters, now they were just discussing thing. He was doing his best, he really was, but Shiro couldn't help falling asleep. He head fell forward and he hit the desk pretty hard, but he didn't even notice. "zzzzZZZZzzz..." Apparently, he had no questions.
