Kuro's reflexes where good, but not good enough to avoid 4 beasts charging him at the same time. e avoided the first three expertly, but the last one slamed into him hardcrushing him into a wall with it's shoulder. Kuro spit up a little blood and almost droped his swordbut held on barely. A million thoughts began to race through Kuro's mind "am I going to die?, Is this the end?....No.. I can't give up!....I won't give up!....I won't stop till I kill them all!!!!!" Kuro's mind suddenly flashed to the day his family was killed, and his mind filled with an inhuman rage. He raised his blade into the air and brought the pommel down onto the beasts head so hard it smashed it's skull, and it dusted instantly. Kuro's rage was all consuming as he surveyed his remaining three enemy's..."DIE!!!!" he screamed as he charged one of them slicing through it quickly and easily, as it dusted. Suddenly another one dove at him , but Kuro quickly duckedbringing his sword up, dusting another. The finnal beast was staring him down and charged, but this time Kuro jumped into the air above it and with great strength he threw his blade at it impaling it, and dusting it. But while in the air Kuro suddenly felt extremely weak, and spit up more blood, he fell unconcious and fell into a pile of pews.

Giving a quick thanks to Eden for saving his life, he grabbed tightly to the one sword. Facing one beast it charged at him, its speed quickly growing. Spinning Toshiro did a round house kick for the beast, but it easily dodged it. Already think that the beast would he expertly brought his sword right around as well. The beast turned to dust as its head came unattatched to the rest of its body. Seeing one final best in front of him he stuck the pommel of his sword into the ground he charged at it. It foolow suit and the two crazily run at each other. The beast lundged, and Toshiro dropped to one knee sliding under the best, but not without injury. As he just passed the hind legs one claw caught his cheek creating a large gash. Blood flowed freely, but he didn't care as he watched teh beast slice itself in two when it hit the blade. "Gotcha." Then he fainted from the quick loos of blood. His limp body quietly slepted, as he waited for his body to heal his wound.

| O o C | Oh, crud - too late. Alright, Naoko can take it. e.e Eden will be the medic. OK. Naomi's having a brain fart as to what to do, so I'm taking a few creative liberties. e.e Eden's body is made up of 50% of Life Stream, thus, ability to make materia. -dramatic music- -gasp-..... I had caffeine....

After succesfully arming Toshiro, Eden turned her attention to the others. The beasts had been greatly reduced in number until there was only one left. When Eden made to move, however, she caught sight of motion to her right. She turned and her eyes widened as Toshiro went limp. She looked quickly back over to the beast - Scarlett would take care of it, she decided. Evidently, Toshiro wasn't the only one who was unconscious. Kuro was down for the count as well.

She hurried to Toshiro's side, looped her arms under his, and quickly dragged him into safet, away from the last, raging beast, which had taken a sudden interest in Scarlett. She did the same for Kuro, but her mind was racing - what to do? The both of them were bleeding extensively and Kuro looked as if his shoulder were either broken or dislocated. Her body knew how to fight, yet it seemed to be at a loss for what to do with healing. Her pristine blue eye glistened as she placed her arms around both Toshiro and Kuro in a protective manner. Unknown to her, her body was already reacting, converting the Life Stream she unknowingly possessed within her into healing materia.

Toshiro gasped to life. His eyes darted back and forth. HToshiro noticed Eden above him, she seemed to be doing something to him. The feeling that went through his body was amazing. He sat still wanting more. Checking his cheek he felt the wound heal quickly and scarless. "Eden thank you. You Probably just saved my life." His voice was soft and calm.

In the same soft voice he comforted Eden. "Don't worry. It's probably just something you haven't remembered yet. I remember the first time I came out into the world. It was scary and I didn't konw what I could and couldn't do. It'll all come back in time."

"Haven't... remembered?" repeated Eden. What else was there to remember? What was she created for in the first place? For some reason, Eden wasn't sure if she wanted to remember her past. What if her memories were something she didn't like? Her mismatched eyes turned to see Kuro slowly working himself into a sitting position. "Your shoulder," said Eden, placing a hand on his chest as if to ease him back down. "Is it still hurting?" She glanced over her shoulder at Scarlett and the last remaining beast. They seemed to be pacing one another, daring the other to make the first move.

"Don't worry I will be fine, i'm feeling better already"

Scarlett looked down at a cut where the creature's claws must have gotten her.
"Great..." she said, irritated.
