Tyyne felt her arm break and quickly wrenched it away from the man that had done it. "******** you!" She shouted, though it was obvious that the pain in her arm had taken it's toll on her ability to fight.
She scrambled away from him and glowered at his gun. Now her options stood at 1) try and escape so she could heal, or 2) keep fighting and risk permanent injury and re-capture. Her fight/flight reflex was still quite warped though, and she jumped into the air, arm hanging limply at her side as she hovered in the air in front of the Institute guard. He could shoot her, but probably not to kill. As far as she knew, they were still under orders not to kill the precious experiments.
She waited. Tyyne wasn't going to make the first move now. She was getting a little more collected in her fighting, and all it took was a broken arm. A harsh smile ghosted across her face for a second before she was back to business, waiting for the guard to do something while she hovered a good 15 feet in the air

Gabe was completely out of it, but he could feel himself moving. Had the Institute captured him or was someone helping him escape? He tried his best to fight against the darkness that was threatening to pull him into unconsciousness. His eyes opened slightly and he caught sight of the same kid from earlier. "No.." The word barely came out of his lips. This kid had to escape and get out. Gabe was in no shape to escape. He had to get through to this kid. "My...sis-sister. Find her." If this person could locate Erica, he still had a chance of getting out and the kid would be okay.

Slowly Lucid's smoldering lashes batted, she might have not seen the girl's reaction but she knew that she had been taken a back slightly. Softly she exhaled and closed her eyes trying to calm her mind down. At the girl's sudden intake of breath her eyelids fluttered open instantly before the shifter even spoke. "...Okay?" She replied back softly and slowly in her soft melodic voice while gazing about the room nervously. As the shifter began to walk Lucid looked around cautiously up and down the halls, her skin still shot with pain from the glass fragments, blood trickled down her arms and face. When the bear stopped Lucid blinked and fallowed her gaze to the empty shaft and frowned a bit. At once she had been caught off guard by the girl's friendly manner toward her and hesitated. Could she trust this girl? Could she trust anyone or even herself? Before she could stop herself the series of numbers flooded from her lips lifelessly. "12.21.3.9.4" Lucid whispered quietly then bit her lip childishly and leaned her head back a bit to look at the ceiling. "Lucid." The pixie like female said softly after giving it a moment of thought then smiled. Looking back down at the girl, Bibi Lucid smiled a little more and adjusted her headphones. "Bibi... nice.. why you here?" She asked suddenly, her words coming out rushed and heavily accented with a European tinge.

It had been a while since he had contacted Ulrich but Shoden just put it aside as he scanned the dark, endless hallways searching for a situation he could help with. His curiousity and boredom would likely lead to danger but he was used to the concept of danger, especially in a place such as this.

Ulrich had found himself watching the monitors with an intensity that had almost shut him off from the real world. Fortunately he had been able to keep from getting completely absorbed and had found another radio that he kept keyed into the guard's channel and after a good few minutes of searching had managed to find the PA controls. "Beautiful..."
Shifting through a few voices to find the most professional one he could do, Ulrich stifled a laugh and scanned the security footage for a second before beginning his message.
Attention. There are escaping altered headed for the east wing of the containment building. We cannot make an ID on their identities or powers from the security tapes, but... damnit, they are either shadows or have the ability to become invisible. We need a squad to go and neutralize them. They seem to have cut the feeds to the other security rooms- Ulrich leaned over and flipped a switch that did kill all the other security rooms, silently thanking whatever gods there were that he had gotten into the main one, We'll try and keep you updated as long as we can.
Ulrich crossed his fingers that the Altered that had heard the message would be smart enough to stay away from the east wing now and pressed the button to speak with Shoden.
"Hey, you hear my PA message? Hope they bite on it... Anyways, you find a way out or anyone else yet?"

Ani inhaled sharply. It was obvious that nobody was coming to her rescue. Her smoldering eyes widened in dismay -- she had to get out, absolutely had to!
Her heart was pounding, her breath quickening, and... something was happening to the door. One rule of pyromancers -- or at least of Ani -- was that they were never burned by their own fire. Therefore, Ani could pretty much walk through a wall of flame without getting so much as a scratch -- as long as it was flame created by her. The bars -- no, the entire metal door -- were beginning to melt. The intense heat from her mixed up emotions and absolute terror was being let out as fire -- into the metal of the door!
Ani whimpered, still terrified.
"Please, somebody, anybody, help!"

Erica pushed open the large doors leading into the building. It was night, and there was no sun to blind her sensitive eyes. Guards were running around frantically trying to capture as many Altered as they could, but they were only able to imprison a few. There were no turrets on the outside like she had imagined there might be. There wasn't some kind of beast or a dragon like in old fairy tales. The only thing that was preventing her escape and the escape of the others was a wall with wire on the top going around the entire building. But there was a door, and the Institute man who operated the door's function had been killed by a few Altered who were desperate to get out.
She watched the door open wide, and she watched as the other Altered were fleeing out and spiriting away from the base. She felt frozen, watching as the others were running. They all had no where to go, and she had left Gabe behind. She felt guilty, she felt distressed and she felt giddy with excitement. A woman grabbed her arm and began pulling her along, towards the gate and towards the freedom she had caused. Erica could barely hear her voice.
"Get to the sewers." The woman left her once Erica was outside of the walls. It seemed she had given up and felt it would be easier to run without dragging Erica along. She glanced back at the building and at the chaos. Then, she faced forward and began running. It seemed that some had a plan and the sewers were the place to go.

『 Α ѣ ɨ ɡ ɐ ΐ ɫ 』 My life is under your hands Though hope is frail…Abigail's eyes widened as the farie girl stilled kicked and lashed out. Abirgail whimpered, so much violence, yet...the girl was not altered. She had a chance. Abigail's first attempt at a scream came out as a little squeak.
But Abigail was still a child. It was in her sort of hardwired in her to be loud when she was unhappy. The institution smothered this instinct, but now Abigail was going to take that chance,
"Run! Go! Escape!" The siren of sound blasted out of the little girl, innocently high pitched, though the tone was of utmost panic and unbelief. The outburst from Abigail earned her a hard smack on the side of her head and she crumbled into the arms of unconciousness.
~~~~
The sound of wailing sirens jolted Abigail from her sleep. Tried tear streaks marred her cheeks and as she rubbed at them, she could feel the dampness in her black hair that meant blood. A few more tears squeezed their way out of Abigail's eyes before she was able to collect herself, as well as a child could collect herself, and realize exactly what was going on. The noises outsides, the yells, the orders.
The Altereds were escaping.
For a moment, joy lanced through Abigail and she giggled...until her cell door was slammed violently open again. Immediantly Abigail cowered to the corner of her cell, compacting herself, folding her wings tightly against her back.
No avail. Abigail was yanked roughly out and dragged along by a guard. Abigail trembled unstoppably. Someone was holding a gun to her head. This must be serious. Very serious.
Cuts and scrapes were reopened as yet again Abigail struggled to keep up with her furious guard. And again, she found herself facing Altereds, this time an almost visable wave of telekenetic energy blasting in her direction. As if Abigail wasn't already completly terrified. She shrieked, every note laced with the stress and pure fear that dominated her days.
But the power simply...dissappeared. As soon as it neared Abigail's 7 feet effect range, it was made null. Any hope in Abigail's eyes died. she couldn't even try to resist, although if she did, it would be hopeless anyways, when the guards smirked and flung Abigail into the bloodied hallway. The effect area of Abigail's "gift" was enough to cover at least the width and height of the hallway.
Abigail rolled to a stop in front of a monsterous looking being, his mouth and claws crimsoned in victory. Tears leaked out of Abigail's eyes again. She was going to die wasn't she?
Still, another plea ripped its way out of her throat,
"Help me, Help me!!!"…it's hard to kill ((Hi everyone...I made like once post and had to leave due to parental problems, so here's my attempt at a re-entry. I kind of skimmed really fast, so please bear with me. Umm....the situation I'm trying to squeeze myself into is the one with Adon, Bori, and Shuchuru. Abigail's gift is the power to cancle out the abilities of the Altered within a 7 foot range. It's a passive ability, if you needed to know.))
Mark made it back to his rifle and readied it back in his arms. Just as the barrel passed its sights over the fairy-like girl, the sound of multiple gunshots reached his ears. His worried expression deepened into sadness. Gunshots outside meant the situation was beyond control, lack of control would mean it was nearly every man for himself, and even if it didn't, it meant permission to shoot to kill would given, possibly ordered, by now. He immediately knew that hundreds, possibly thousands, of people, altered or not, wouldn't live through the day, and probably had already been killed. Mark lowered his gun slightly, but not completely. "I'm sorry, ...please, ...I don't want to hurt you anymore," he begged quietly. He didn't want to shoot her, but he couldn't allow her roam free among the world of man.
 Tyyne blinked, dropping her offensive pose about as much as the guard dropped his gun, "And what if I believe that you don't want to hurt me? I can't say I hold the same level of trust with the men inside that run the experiments."
She tilted her head, "And besides, what makes me have any less right to live in the world with the rest of you humans? I was there before you all captured me and I hadn't been causing problems." She flitted her wings, using this opportunity to begin the slow process of healing. She didn't need her arm to be completely better, just enough that it didn't hurt or risk further damage when she moved it, "If you ask me, the people that run this place are the real risk to the 'world of man'... taking people for these experiments and then treating them like abominations... I fail to see how they are any different than you."
Tyyne flitted her wings again, then jumped and took to the air, "You made the mistake of stopping my berserk; now I'm thinking clearly and you don't stand a chance." She bobbed in the sky for a second, then darted away from him. She wasn't going to fight, that was suicide now that he had orders to kill.
She zipped quickly across the sky, unsure if she would have to dodge gunfire and preferring not to find out because she was going in a straight line. As soon as she hit the masses of people fleeing the Institute's walls, she dropped into the middle of the group. She was able to fly around them thanks to her small size, but it was still a tight squeeze at times. Occasionally words would reach her, something about the sewers. That was as good a place as any at this point.
Tyyne didn't look back once as she fled. There was nothing inside that she was attached to, and if there was... it was gone now.
Mark agreed with most of what the fairy-like girl said. However, she had left out the part that explained why he was here, not that she'd understand or accept doing so. He did not reply, though, as she quickly regained her senses and flew away. Mark didn't shoot after her, it wouldn't do anyone any good right now anyway. Instead, he fetched the radio he had dropped at the start of the fight. It seems that things outside were quickly calming down as mutants, altered, and abominations all seemed to escape together in an unorganized mob, with some stragglers. "Anyone still alive and sane, regroup in the nearest clear area. This may have been a disaster, but we cannot loose this facility. I want a team to search every room for survivors and stragglers. Meaning restrooms, labs, cells, camera rooms, bunkers... I want you to literally check under your beds for monsters. Careful of shape-shifters and any souvenirs anyone may have left behind. Stay close, but not too close. Remember, shoot to kill limitations have been revoked." Mark opened the door to the main lobby and readied his gun for any possible lurkers.
"Uhm... Shoden, I just got my cue to surrender. I have to go now. I hope that you get out of here... if not, I'll see you in a few days, I'd hope... I'm gonna turn this off now, I'd hate for them to hear you and kill us both." Ulrich switched the radio off and set it down, watching the monitors with sad eyes as he watched fellow Altered being cut down by angry guards. I hope he gets away...
Ulrich picked up a radio that had been keyed into the authority figure's channel and began speaking, "Sir, this is Ulrich Skinner, Altered experiment 5-16-8-43. I am requesting a peaceful surrender, I have been working in the main camera rooms since the beginning of this outbreak. I was allowed in by some members of the security because I had information on the Altered plan, which turned out to have been faulty. I apologise. If you could send a squad that won't shoot me or come for me yourself, that would be wonderful. I am not going to be moving from this spot until the shoot to kill orders have been revoked unless I am with some security.
If you would like to know a clear path to this room, I can give it to you. Over."
With a sigh he sat back and waited to hear back. Hopefully the man would believe what he had said, else this whole thing was a lot of trouble. Ulrich picked up his radio while he was waiting and slipped it into his jacket, hoping that they wouldn't take it before he had a chance to get back to his cell. A lot of things depended on this radio now. On a sudden bout of fear, Ulrich flicked the radio on again and changed the channel off of the one he had been using to talk to Shoden and on to the regular channel, then turned the radio off again. That should at least up our chances a little bit...
Erica sprinted past the others as they looked around, trying to decide where to go. It seemed that the entire Institute building was now in complete chaos. She headed down the street and came across a manhole. Others were already jumping down inside and she got into the mass of people waiting to get the safety.
After a few moments, she noticed a few guards were coming from the opposite way of the Institute. They had something in their hands that looked like guns and they looked determined to kill everyone standing in the middle of the street. Erica closed her eyes and waited for a bullet to kill her, when she felt a hand grab her arm and start pulling her. She could hear screams and gunshots, but the bullets never impacted with her.
She opened her eyes to see a man pulling her into an alley. She began to panic more. Was he going to rape her? Who was this guy? She started to struggle against him when his grip tightened and he spoke fast. "There's an entrance over here. We can get away, but we have to move fast."
She nodded, and stopped struggling. A few others were heading through another manhole at the very back of the alley. She got to the opening right away and climbed down. While hurrying down, her foot slipped and the cement wall scratched her knee and her blood left a mark on the wall. She winced in pain, but the man, who had climbed down after her, began pulling her in some strange direction. It smelled horrible in the sewers and she could hear a few people crying. They all were headed into different directions. No one really knew where they were going.
"Where will we go?" She whispered, trying not to collapse from exhaustion and fear. The man took no time to look down at her and let her arm go. He was leaving her to fend for herself. "Where ever it is safe." He said, before disappearing into the darkness.
Tyyne was about to dive into a manhole to the sewers when a bunch of Institute Guards came after the mass of Altered trying to escape. She was about to duck in and escape when the manhole-cover slammed shut and left those top-side in a bit of trouble. Guns started firing and Tyyne sped away into an alley where she had seen a bunch of others fleeing as well.
This isn't good. Those lids are being sealed from the underside, I'm sure... once they're closed, they're closed for good. That means everyone has to be in or else...
Tyyne dove into an open hole, dodging around the people that had to climb the ladder quickly, "You all need to hurry," She told them urgently, "They're coming and you don't want to be topside when they get here." With her message complete, Tyyne rushed down the tunnels, though she couldn't go too fast for very long before she couldn't see very well and had to slow down. As she got deeper into the tunnels she saw another girl that seemed to be having trouble going on.
"Do you need help?" Tyyne landed next to her, flitting her wings quickly so they laid flat against her back. Tyyne was dwarfed by this girl, her diminutive figure falling about a foot short of the other's.
Mark stepped back outside when he heard the voice on the radio, as he didn't want a conversation to give him away to anyone who may be inside. As soon as the altered that identified himself as Ulrich finished, another voice came on the radio nearly screaming, "YOU *****ng BAS****! I'll...," and was quickly cut off. Mark sighed and replied, "Walker, Rev, Devon, and Jones, this is yours. Don't shoot if you don't have to."
