Milling is one of my favorite strategies. That being said... The Guul Draz vampires are dead weight in a mill deck, since milling does nothing to drop their life to 10 or less. I'd suggest Cathartic Adept, which costs U and taps to mill a card.
I also agree w/ dropping Bond and Tribute to 2 apiece for Tutors. I'd also recommend dropping a Twincast for a single Traumatize.

@ultra: The Guul Draz were simply there for kicker for Blood Tribute. Though I think I'll be alright with just the Blood Seekers for that.
Cathartic Adept is in. And Traumatize sounds good as well. Forgot about that card.
I think with those and a few other small changes, my deck should be alright now. Thanks.

Grixis Mill Wait, what? That's right, Grixis mill. This obviously Blue, Black, Red deck focuses on two things: millin' s**t and killin' s**t. They can't touch you if they have no creatures. Mill is slow, it's a weakness, if you kill everything the opponent has, it takes time to get back up and running. Time that a mill deck needs.
for your concideration:
Insta-Death 2 Terminate 3 Dark Banishing 2 Agony Warp 1 Slave of Bolas
Touch of Death 2 Grixis Grimblade 2 Tidehollow Strix 2 pestilent Kathari 2 Kederekt Creeper 1 Vein Drinker
Insta-Mill 2 Mind Funeral 2 Psychic Drain 2 Induce Paranoia
Mill Creatures 2 Vedalken Entrancer 1 Scalplexis 1 Szadek, Lord of Secrets 1 nemesis of reason
Grave Robing 2 Animate Dead 2 Necromancy 1 Beacon of Unrest
Miscellaneous 2 Entomb 1 Covenant of Minds 1 Merfolk Looter

O catharic Adept, Dont put that in, no efence, that card literally is garbage for milling. you'd be better off Putting a anti card in it.
When milling, you need to take into consideration that milling Does nothing to them if you mill cards that they dont need.
If they still have a card in their library, then They will still get to draw a card.
The adept taps and mills one card, and only does it ONCE every two turns. and even if you do wait till the end of their turn to use it's abbilitie, if your planning on chump blocking it why not use something a bit more... Agrressive. Milling 1 card every two turns isn't that much of an advantage, you'd be better off useing path to exil, then use that trap search looking for that mill 13 spell for zero.
You also need to remember bloodchief adsention will only work if you pass three turns dealing at least 2 dmg on them each one. once that is activated, then one arcive trap will be enough to kill them. I suggest puting some cheap red burn spells in just to have that activate

Land 4x Terramorphic Expanse 4x Savage Lands 2x Akoum Refuge 1x Oran-Rief, the Vastwood 3x Swamp 4x Mountain 6x Forest

I seee where your Devour deck is going, you seem to have a couple good win conditions, however I feel that your aiming for Mycoloth with blades to be your main win contition.
I don't think BroodBraid elf would be that good, you'd cascade into like another creture other than Mycoloth(because its a 5 costing card) and then you'd i guess devour the elf with said creature... I think using 4 vines and two broodbraids are better. It doesnt look like you have any other real removal stuff
Take into consideration than almost all white decks use path to exil. and black decks you. just seems like you'd want to do everything you can to protect mycoloth.
Coat of amrs seems like a decent move for your mycoloth.
It seems a bit lacking. however, I'll play test this deck on friday and ill let you know my full imput on it

Yeah, I was thinking it was heavy on the Bloodbraids after I had posted it.. Totally switching out two for two more Vines.
But yes, this deck requires Mycoloth to work at all. I know it could use some work, but it's my first real attempt at running Devour.

@ Threemo, I Find Devour decks to work much better when you have 50% of your creature base be devoure creatures, and 50% token/ creature makers. I believe that there is a Green/White Elf that can Double the ammount of tokens you have. "Rhys the Redeemed" It would be good to make more tokens in the begining too chump block, and it does have a good late game expecially with it. However, it is from Shadowmoor, so iono if your trying to keep this type two or not. but yeah, i would lessen the ammounts of devoured creatures you have, and maybe a "sprouting Thranax" in there haha if you are using those colors, there are a bunch of things that you can really work it. Ill still let you know my opinion after sat
@ Cheeserdane, There arn't many cards like that in Type two. However If you want something that will put your Graveyard back into your deck Timetwister is always good (but it does shuffle theirs too). I think if your keeping it standered though, use "Quests for the Ancient secrets." its a blue card from zandikar. If its not standard, Glimps the unthinkable, which costs 2 to mill 10 cards. iono try to post a decklist, and then we'll go from tehre it's easier to adjust decks then to just throw out cards that you probubly wont use

O yeah if you use Broodbraids, you also want to consider WHAT you can cascade into, if you have 4 vines, you DO have a chance of cascading into them, sometimes it is a waste. thinking about it you might want to take out the broodbrades for something else.
I think you should put some land exelerants, whenever playing with green it's always good to do that. expecially with harrow. It will thin your deck out(creating a higher chance of you drawing a spell) and it will help you get out mycoloth out faster. A good "combo" is harrow, then Rampet Growth.
Turn one, land and Llanyor, turn two land and harrow, then rampet growth.
Turn three you have enough land to play Mycoloth, or you can, throw land down, drop a sac creature for 1 and play mycoloth with two devourable creatures on turn three. That is just one example

@cheeserdane: Gaea's Blessing is the only card I can think of. I only know of this card because a friend of mine runs a mill deck with them in it to keep from milling himself away. xp
@Tagg: I'd like to keep it Type 2 legal, yes. Sprouting Thranax are nice, especially if devoured, thus creating more creatures to devour afterwards..
The main problem with Type 2 Devour is the lack of major token production in Type 2. Mycoloth is the only thing able to pump out large/huge amounts of tokens each turn, if prepped correctly.
I do have a deck running Sharding Sphinx, but that's an entirely different beast of a token generator.
[edit] Didn't see your second post..
I'm totally willing to drop the Bloodbraids, possibly for two more Llanny. Harrows can take the place of Bituminous Blast, as I see your point on the Cascade screwing me over, with Vines especially.
Not sure where I could fit in Rampant just yet..

I thjink you should drop some of the devour creatures for the rampet growth, just cause that starting combo is very common in type two greens

A quick and Nasty Surprise , This is my Deck that i use in casual play with friends and such , They hate it because my deck meshes together really well, expecially the Howl of th Night packs, I know my weakness would be if some one used thought hemorage, but they either choose to get rid of the Trolls, that can get huge or they can choose to get rid of the howls which give me a Ton of wolves. But either way its great card system, I know of one anti-Mill card that would give me all my creatures back but i can't use it, but most of my friends don't use mill decks except my friend Jake with his 4 ( Insert card here that makes you discard 10 cards from the top of you deck ,everytime it attacks.) but if anyone could give me some points on how to make this 60 card deck better i would love to hear them.
4 Mossbridge Trolls 4 Howl of the Night Pack 4 Roughshod Mentors 1 Drove of Elves 4 Terramorphic expanse 1 skyshroud ranger 3 Naturalize 1 Llanowar Elves 1 Soul's Might 1 Might of Oaks 1 Leaf Glider 2 Devoted Druids 1 Druid of the Anima 1 Scion of the wild 1 Gleeful Sabotage 3 Luminescent Rain 1 Mighty Emergence 1 Dawnglow Infusion 1 Reknit 1 paleoloth 1 Spellbook 1 Treetop village 21 Forests
