JAmes looked over and Leila and smiled. "This is alyssa. I met her on the train but I havnt seen her since then cus ive been a little busy." Then he ate another piece of toast. "Leila, would you like to acompany me to hogsmeade today? You to alyssa. I think It would be a good break from what recently happened and what will come. There will be a round of butter beer on me!"He said with a smile.

Leila looked over at the other girl. She nodded her head in greeting, eyes with no apparent emotions in them. She saw the girl around a few times but never talked with her. She remembered what James had just asked her. "As long as I get some of Honeydukes chocolates, I'll go. I'm running low on ink and candy. I can do without some studying today." Leila told James. She quickly finished what's left of her breakfast before grabbing another piece of toast. She always seems to be nibbling on them. She had placed a illusion charm over her face so whoever was looking over to see what she looked like without her mask, they see food going through the mask. Or what appeared to be a mask.

Alyssa laughed. "A week? Are you sure... Wow" She shrugged and ate a piece of toast. Looking up from the table, she heard a girl coming and talking to James. Alyssa smiled at Leila, but turned her attention quickly back to her toast. She was really hungry. "Hogsmeade? Of course I'll go. Oh James, remeber that Tea place that we went to last time we were there? And like it was only for couples?" She started laughing silently, and then turned back to face Leila. She studied? Leila was definitly a better student then Alyssa, she didn't touch her tests, but always ended up passing them for some reason.

"Couples? I didn't know you two were a couple." Leila said, totally not knowing what Alyssa was suggesting. She turned over to James, "Why didn't you tell me you have a girlfriend? And only after 1 week. You move fast, don't you James?" Leila smirked at him. She turned back to Alyssa, smiling but a little guarded. "We could go on a double date. You and James while I go with Mao."

James blushed and his eyes widened. "Oh no no were not couples. we Just felt like getting some tea so we went there. There will be no double dating."He said really embarrased and hoping that leila wouldnt think he was takin or anything."Ide like to visit the shrieking shack again if you two would like to accompany me? I really enjoy it in there. Did you know there is a secret passage leeding from it to the whomping willow?"

Leila blinked. Looking between Alyssa and James, she blushed slightly about her guess. "Oh, I just thought that you two were going out or something. Sorry for assuming things." She saw something in James' eyes but she couldn't tell what it was. She just shrugged it off like it was nothing. Leila thought to what James had said about the Whomping Willow. She did not know that. She had always thought the Whomping Willow was planted there as a prank or just something that was there even before Hogwarts was built. She tilted her head, her silver hair blocking her left eye. "Sure, we can go see the shack. But I don't know if it's a good idea to go inside it." She turned over to Alyssa. "What do you think Alyssa?"

Alyssa had regreted immediatly after talking about that Tea place. Probabaly not a smart thing. "Oh no no, not dating. Sorry, I didn't realize what I had said actually hinted anything of that sort." She blushed slightly. She'd have to remember to smack herself tonight for even mentioning that. Biting her lip, she looked back to the table. Who did this Leila think she was? Saying that James moved fast? Even she had James had been dating, did he really like Leila in that way? And did Leila feel concited about it? Alyssa sighed after a minute, she was analzying things, just like she always did. "The shack? I don't mind. Sounds fun." She smiled, her mood suddenly better.

"How about all of us take the shortcut through the whomping willow to the shrieking shack, and then to hogsmeade. Aww come on Leila. Pleeeeease." James said with a smile in a pouty voice looking at her.

Leila don't know. She knew how trouble seems to chase both James and her around like little lovesick puppies. She wonder what might happen if they went that way. She was only trying to protect James. She can take care of herself. Even if she can't, Mao can. She slowly nodded her head, showing that she doesn't like the idea too much. "Alright I guess. But if you or Alyssa get hurt, don't say I didn't tell you so." She said with a serious yet, worried voice. She checked for her wand and small dagger she hid in the small of her back. She wanted to be prepare for anything.

James laughed. "Ohhh a little adventure never hurt anyone."He said with a smile and held his hand out to her to pull her up from the table. "Besides, I only heard a rumor that there was a secret path under the tree. I now will see if thats true. We may have to run fast though, wouldnt want to get smashed."

Leila shook her head, silently chuckling. She only knew James for only a short while. Not even a week yet. Only around 3 days at most. And yet he was already getting her to break the rules and breaking her habits. "James, I don't know how, but you always seems to get me to do almost anything you want me to. Let's just hope it doesn't get out of hand." Leila took his hand and pulled herself up. She turned towards Alyssa and smiled. "Ready to go?"

[[I would have posted yesterday, but my dad wasn't letting me on the computer. =( ]]
Alyssa listened to their conversation as much as she could, and it was hard to do that considering she was still trapped in her own thoughts. All she heard was abut how James wanted to go into the shack, but Leila didn't. To Alyssa, she sounded like a scardy cat. Alyssa loved to and do things that were dengerous, it was just her way of life. She stood up a minute after bother James and Leila stood. "Yeah. I'm ready." She smiled and grinned. Today might be fun. "Thanks for letting me come along..." And that was the truth. Alyssa realized that she didn't have many friends anymore. Then again more then half left after last year. She sighed now remembering her uncle. Shuddering at that thought, she tried to smile and think only about today.

Leila noticed the small sigh Alyssa gave out. She also saw the shudder and the fake smile she was trying to pull off. Leiila can tell, something was bothering her. She doesn't want to intrude into her life but she doesn't want a 'friend' to feel bothered. She wants Alyssa to have a good time, a fun time. She smiled at Alyssa, hoping it looked like a warm smile. "It's alright Alyssa. After all, you're our friend. At least, I'm hoping I can be your friend." Leila held out a hand to Alyssa, hoping she would shake her hand. She has something she wanted to do, but it would only work if Alyssa held her hand.

It wasn't easy having a horrible unlcle. Expecially with him being the villian that took over after he-who-must-not-be-named was supposedly killed. Alyssa hated it. That was probably another reason why no one talked to her anymore, they were afraid she would hurt them, afraid that she had joined his side. Problem was, she had. Turning her attention to Leila she smiled slightly. "You want to be my friend?" Alyssa was still rather shy, just like she had been all last year. Bitting her lip, she took a glance at Leila's hand. Being raised in the muggle world, she knew she should shake it. But something told her not to. After a moment, she shrugged that feeling away and slowly took Leila's hand shaking it. "Sorry, I'm just a little over casious sometimes. With a past like mine, who wouldn't be?" She laughed it off horribly and sighed once more.

Leila nodded her head. "Don't worry about it Alyssa. I understand what you're going through. Having the Lord of the Underworld as your father isn't a very easy thing to deal with either. People usually avoid me due to my demon half. But that doesn't mean I couldn't try to make friends. And why wouldn't I want to be your friend. You're nice and also James' friend. Any friend of James is a friend of mine." Alyssa shook her hand. Leila grabbed her hand, tight enough that it is a firm grip. "But that doesn't mean we can't have some fun. Come on! James, you're treating us to butterbeer!!!" Leila yelled out as she dragged Alyssa to follow her as she ran to Hogsmeade. She gave out a laugh as she reached the front doors, hearing screaming coming from behind her.
