I love it! I watched in movies with my sister. Well, it isn't my favourite Miyazaki-movie, but it's still very good. I like the characters too [even if Calcifer is a little bit too Disney-like], especially Hauru and Sophie. Somehow, when people call Hauru Howl, it really pisses me off. Okay, maybe I'm too picky, but still. Here in Finland, the name was in finnish only "Moving castle" and I'm really glad that I got to see the original version, not the dubbed one, which was horrible [well, I haven't seen it and don't want to neither, but I have seen the commercial and I'm sure it's horrible]. mad
I really like the part when Hauru and Sophie dance in the sky on the town. rofl

Well...they were only "strolling" through the sky, but I still loved it. One of the best scenes in my opinion.

oh howl's is such a good story, in movie and book form, the howl in the movie and howl in the book are really different but both are WONDERFUL!!!!!!!!!!! blaugh heart 3nodding heart whee heart

Howl's moving castle absolutely rocked!The animation was outstanding, tied with spirited away I think. I think the story of Spirited away would beat Castle but wow anyway! The only thing I wasn't too sure about was the ending, it all seemed a little sudden for me? anyone else?....
Top film anyways though!Loved it!

Hn...personally I was a bit dissapointed with this movie. I mean, I liked it, but it just didn't live up to Miyazaki-sama's usual works. Probably because he didn't write it himself. Oh well.

This was a great movie, it would have ot tie in second with every other Miyazaki film i have seen. The only one that is in first tho is the one ive loved since i was a little kid. When i saw this movie i didnt even kno what it was and was just going to see it, then afterwards, i NEEDEDto buy it.

I love Howl's Moving Castle~! I've been watching it all day, every day, for the past two days. @_@ I love Howl's English voice actor, his voice is so sexy! <33

this movie was so amazing!! it was another work of miyazaki art! crying so beautiful!
i read to book too, and i didn't like it as much as the movie. has anyone read the sequel to howl's moving castle? it doesn't have much to do with the actual characters except for a few plot bunnies. if i remember correctly though, howl and sophie have a baby in the sequel.

I like this movie a lot, so i went to quizilla and took many,many,many quizzes on which studio ghibli character are you and just about every
time i got Sophie Hatter lol! i like this movie a lot!! calcifer was hilarious
