That was it, the cause of his discomfort. His stomach was churning like it had dragons fighting over a flock of geese in it. He gazed up at the man, emotionless as he could muster with his current feelings. He placed a hand over his gut but didn't say a word. He knew who this man was, he knew it since he felt him enter the room. This was the man whom that vampire had gone to, told him about Seth. He knew what was going to happen, or so he thought. He couldn't muster the strength to speak at the moment for fear he may just vomit if he were to open his mouth.

Seth grits his teeth when he sees the king drawing near Lina. He stands up and grips tighter on his stomach, hoping to ease some of the discomfort by doing so. He stands steady when he sees the man turn to gaze at him, but he had to bite back a cringe at that piercing gaze. "He will have to." Seth manages to say to the man, in response to his statement.

Seth's eye twitches lightly at his statement. Was he talking about Lina, or was this Emeris person not that vampire. If so, did he not know about him standing between him and Lina? He had better not ask. He glanced at the blood that slipped from Lina's lips and frowned lightly. It wasn't the curse acting up, so maybe he was speaking the truth. He knew not how to cure nightmares, such were up to the person dreaming. "I am unable to protect your daughter from her own thoughts. . . Though I doubt they are brought on because of her own misfortune." Seth said, his stomach easing a little as he spoke. Whoever this was, wasn't about to cause harm to Lina, so he needn't ask him to leave.

Seth's eyes darken at the choice of words this man used. He frowns lightly at him and he can feel that his stomach is starting to ease more. "I have only been told what I have been permitted to know, and that is what your daughter has told me. But who is this Emeris person that needs to inspect her, and why?" Seth asked. He figured to use the guise of being her protecter for now at least, that way he would gain more than if he told the King he was the man who prevented her from doing what was told of her by him.

Seth bites his tongue at this, hard enough to draw blood. The taste isn't something he is used to, but he had to in order to keep a hot flare from becoming noticeable. He knew not of this, about her getting married. Did Lina not tell him to protect him, or did she not know? He couldn't let it, not with the grin that man got from the idea. Seth took a step forward, his eyes narrowing at the man. He could feel it slipping, his control. Just the idea of Lina marrying someone was ludicrous to him. "Does Lina know of this?" Seth asked, trying to keep his unease out of his voice, or his growing desire to keep it from happening.

Seth glared at the back of the man, if he didn't leave when he did Seth would not have the control to stop himself. He glared at the door, his eyes dark and dangerous. "Not if I have anything to say about it." Seth muttered under his breath before sitting down on the bed. He placed his hand gently against Lina's hand, lacing his fingers with hers. Not if he could help it.

Seth smiles and shakes his head. Though she still can't see him. "No, you should rest." Seth said quietly. He kept his hidden feelings from his voice. He didn't want to worry her over something like this. No, it wasn't worth it. Though he knew he would have to fight the berserker over this.
