Fang wagged his tail and asked, "Are you sure? You should rest to get your strength back." He licked her ear affectionatly.

Myhala laughed a little. "You carried me most of the way," she pointed out, "you're the one who should rest." She wagged her tail too, they were both stubborn.

Karasu laughed inwardly, a grin barely pulling up the corner of his jowls. Cute....a couple.
"Fang's right. We could all do with a rest." He imphasized all so as to single no one out...particularly the wolf Fang was referring to.
He turned to Fang now, nodding. "You rest too." And grin. "I'll keep watch." He stalked off towards the entrance with silent steps. He would not take no for an answer. He seated himself just inside the entrance to the cavern, ears trained on the tunnel ahead.

"It was nothing," Fang said honestly. Fang didn't argue when they told him to rest. His limbs were tired from the climb though he was still restless. He lay down next to Myhala, licking her ear soothingly.

Myhala pressed up against Fang and closed her eyes with a sigh, listening to the soothing sound of his heart. It wasn't long before she was asleep.

Fang smiled, then nuzzled Myhala's cheek, then lay his head down next to hers.

Karasu listened to the others settling down, getting quieter. It was peaceful.
He heard a few humans scramble by, seeing the fire from torches dance on the tunnel walls as they ran by. He set his jaw and waited for things to pass, seeing the lights go by another time and everything grew quiet on this end. A few of the others were still awake and that was soon to change.
He simply chuckled to himself as he lay down, alone, to keep watch.

Fang dreamt the humans were attacking his pack once more, and he whined in his sleep.

Myhala woke from a shallow sleep to the sound of Fang's soft whines. She could sense his restlessness, and it made her uneasy. She rested hear head calmingly over his neck, hoping it would soothe his sleep.

Fang's dreams shifted from the murderous night to a dream about him and Myhala as she layed her head on his.

Sage was laying in a tree looking up at the sky.She had fallowed the others to the cave but didn't go in.She layed her head on her paws wondering after she had left for so long,would Karasu even remiber her.She slowly fell asleep.

Fang suddenly opeden his eyes and sat up. Listening hard he strained his ears out into the woods. There. A twig snapped in the distance and Fang could smell the humans. They were close.

Myhala blinked sleepily as Fang lifted his head. "What is it?" she asked as he scented the air, suddenly alert.

Myhala stood up next to Fang, her lips curling into the beginings of a snarl. "Will they never leave us be?" Then her tone softened, "Fang, what'll we do? No matter how far we run... they'll be a step behind us" Her ears flattened back.
