Ranae Blacksparrow Ranaes coughing fit lasted a bt longer, but slowly it subsided, leaving her gasping her air and clutching her throat. She hadnt had a coughing fit that bad in years. She took a moment to catch her breath before whispering back, for she did not trust her voice. " I..I was lost...and..." She swallowed audibly, tears welling up in her eyes as she glimpsed a flash of when her demon side had attacked him. "and..Im sorry..." Josh also remembered the night where rayne had saved him from renaes demon form, it was frightening and thinking about it sent a shiver down his spine. yet he cared tremendously for renaes human form, and that overcame his fear. He helped her up and steadied her waiting for her coughing fit to subside. "no harm was done" He smiled

She stood slowly and gazed up in his direction. She could feel his shiver as he recalled the night before and her lip trembled. She looked down in shame to hide her tears, her hand still in his.

He took note of her bandaged form and gazed upon her. "there is no reason to feel ashamed, it is part of who you are. you seem to need to heal more, would you like to go back to your room?"

"Very well then." Rayne responded as he kept his eye on the ancient runes on the elven sword. He kept reading the ancient runes that seem to be very fascinating and very brillant. As he kept reading the runes there seem to be a pattern that were created by the High elven mages. Hmm...each rune seem to be representing...an magical element...Fire,Wind, Lightning,Earth, and Water...very interesting...it seems that the user of the sword...may channel anyone of these elements and the surroundings that they fight in that contain the chosen element...can actually manipulate it in the surroundings....very interesting... He thought to himself as he looked at the writings.

Though ranae thought badly of the idea of letting the healer use magic to help her wounds, she did need to rest more. It had been foolish of her to go out into the caves when she didnt know how to get around. She quickly swiped at her tears and looked up, nodding slightly.

"i know healing can become quite tedious, but i will stay with you if you like". Again he smiled and with her hand in his he lead her to the guests quarters at a suitable pace.

Rayne walked out of the room that contains the elven sword seeing that he have already gather enough information and decided to take a small walk making his way to the training room once more. As he made his way down the hallway that lead towards the training room he found my dwarven guards scanning and monitoring the area. Some of the dwarves still seem to give a curious look towards Rayne as he passed by, but he mostly ignore their looks of curiousity.

Rnae followed beside him, smiling slightly herself at the feeling of his hand wrapped securely around hers. It made her feel safe. She wouldnt be wandering aimlessly along the complex network of dwarven tunnels again any time soon. She wondered why her domon side had been attracted to this place anyways, but she waved it off, assuming it had just wanted to get away from the world. Thinking back and reveiwing all of the thigns she had done as a demon, her hand tightedned slightly around Josh's.

Josh felt the squeeze as they were nearing her room, and wondered what she was thinking at this moment in time. They had not got off to the best of starts, josh began to chuckle at the thought of renae jumping from a tree and onto him, yet they had become close in the past few days. Josh opened the door and directed renae to her bed then pulled up a chair and sat beside her.
"if you dont want the healer for the moment i can call him later"

Though ranae's faint smile was still on her face, her voice was bitter as she spoke.
" I dont need a healer.."
She paused and looked down at her lap before once again gazing in the direction of his voice. She said in a lofty tone, glad to change the subject.
" How did you and your friend end up in the Dwarven mountains?"

Josh was taken aback by ranaes persistance of not having a healer. she was stronged willed and it brought a slight smile to his face.
Thinking about her question, he remembered the reason why he and rayne had come her in the first place... to destroy the orcs.
"well im not sure if you know, a huge gathering of orcs has been spotted not far from here, it seems they have all come from the south. We do not fully understand there purpose but we know it isnt good.. and they need to be taken down. I came here to get help to battle the oncoming hoard.. because i dont think i would be able to take them on by himself"
He smiled again and wished he was powerful enough to obliterate the orc menace, then the smile faded and he locked himself in deep thought.

After a few minutes Rayne had made his way through the hallway that hung many more of the dwarven tapestries. He looked to his left and saw the training room the way he have left it after he have cast his spell earlier. He walked in the room and prepared another training session that would keep his skills sharp. He lunged foward, utilizing great speed with his legs, and excuted the Tsuubun Daichi ( Reduce Ground ) technique that made him look like a blur leaving footsteps all over the place.
He excuted the final sword technique from the Hinote Hasu Amatsu Kamae ( Fire Lotus Heaven Style) by unsheathing his sword quickly and throwing a few lightning enchanted shurikens into the air. He kept moving in the Tsuubun Daichi form he was able to excute the technique by scraping the sheath with his blade. As he scraped the sheath with his blade sparks began to appear flying of his sheath. Rayne caught a glimpse of the sparks and made a quick swing of his sword through the air follow by the sparks that went into the air at the same time. The sparks seem to a become flames and collided with the shurikens at the once that in turn the lightning enchanted shurikens exploded. The explosion was just as ear-piercing as the Kaen Ten Hasu Bakuha Shintou ( Flaming Heaven Lotus Explosion Point).
The difference was that the explosion caused several metal shards from the exploded shurikens to fall from the air to the ground in a small radias Rayne thought to himself as he waved his hand once more seeing that the aftermath was almost the same as his other technique and cast the same spell once more causing a blinding flash of light through the area. The room was once more flawless with no burned marks or any burning metals shards stabbed into the ground. Hmm...very good ...the Nenshou Hasu Kahen Ame ( Burning Lotus Petal Rain) ...very good indeed , but it can be better... Rayne thought to himself as he prepared to excute the Shinku Ten Ken ( Scarlet Heaven Blade ).

Ranae nodded. She could sense something different about him though. As if something had..rubbed off on him? That might be a way to describe it. Smooth metal with elven runes elegantly etched into its perfect suface flashed in her mind and she sat up slightly gazing intently at where she thought his eyes were.
" And...have you found something else? Other than dwarves that is..I cant quite seem to put my finger on it.."

At first he was confused by her question but his discovery today was still fresh in his mind and he instantly began to recall the details.
"its..funny you should mention it .. yes i did find something. I was looking through the dwarven history room and came upon an ancient elven sword. seriously it was the most beautiful thing i have ever seen ..almost...enchanting". He seemed to be drifiting off into the trance that he was in earlier while viewing the sword.
"it was so...fine.. perfect metal..and the markings...."
He shook his head and the image faded.
"how did you know i found that?"

She had woken up from her little "nap" and looked around seeing the storm had eased up. She got from the spot beneath the tree and looked at her surroundings, trying to figure out where she was. Wandering by herself was not a good idea, she knew that, but her craving and need for blood was still there. However, Lin's angry words from the previous night still plagued her mind, and she figured he wouldnt care that she was lost or whatever would happen to her. She walked on, trying to find a familiar spot and came to a clearing and everything around seemed to look the same. The feeling of being helpless overcame her once again and her eyes had gathered with tears.
