Yeah, why don't we overhaul all of America and rebuild in a French motif. rolleyes

The White House is fine like it is, even if we can't always be happy with the schmoes in it... emo

That's true. domokun And if you didn't like who the president was cause you didn't vote for him, you can always say "Well, it's not my fault. I didn't vote for the guy."

I voted, so piss off. Just cause I didn't wanna vote for the dumbass in the office or the dumbass running against him doesn't mean I didn't count.

Touchy aren't you?

I remember using no harsh language with you when you said "Thats a pity" or saying you didn't count.

Am I confused here or is someone having a bad day?

I did'nt vote. The great thing about freedom is it does'nt matter wether you did or not, you still get a voice. Heres the thing, one would assume I don't care or don't support my ability to participate in government.

Wrong...

I have voted... 3nodding

In fact when I was first eligible I voted... surprised

The thing is the mainline canidates have never intrested me or seemed any different in the long run. It's easy to say I could vote for an independent just to say "I have this problem because my guy would have done better" but thats faulty logic. Because for one regardless of who wins they should try to make the country a better place, instead of playing these stupid partisan policy games. rolleyes

I could vote. Likely the 5th line canidate I choose for lack of any good options would'nt win. In fact it's not even likely it's fact. To which the opponents for process argue...if enough people did vote... burning_eyes

Guess what...the fact of the matter is...realistically thats a sham argument too. Because for one thing the canidates on the botom of a ballot usally don't have enough money for an extensive national campaign, thus they are'nt understood or sometimes even heard, and often times practically even unheard of by the less politically geared. So yes, they are nothing more than vote stealers for one of the major canidates or at best a way to clear a concious about voting for a wrong option. It would be beautiful if a million Americans were fed up and stormed the ballot booths and voted for the number 4 guy in a fit of democratic rage and threw the political climate on it's heels. It ain't going to happen. talk2hand

So maybe I will vote next time. So I can say that again...to make a point...

Why not exercise futility... wahmbulance
