Pain killers- I take Aleve. Lots of it. You find your pain scale completely changes when you shatter a femur. Its the most painful thing a person can stay awake through over 4/5th of the time. I pinched a nerve in my back like a year ago and still only thought it was like a 4 or so.

I havent needed surgery in over a year, so YAY!!!!

Oh, and I be moving here soon. ^^ To Springfield, Mass. For three months. Anyone from up that way?

Neo: O_o Eep. I've got an ovarian cyst too...no one decided to tell me those things could burst though. >.<

Oshun: Her reason was that Ibuprophen can be hard on the stomach. *shrugs* Wasn't bothering mine, and it can be quite fickle. Makes no sense to me when she tried giving me naproxen for my leg pain a while back. Got rid of the pain but gave me terrible stomach pains.

Silver: Yay for being surgery free! ^^ Have fun moving.

Seldaara: You did get to try Aleve. Naproxen is the generic name for Aleve.

Silver Mist: Shattered femur?! eek I imagine that would be extremely painful. I definitely believe your pain tolerance scale would be fubar from that point on.

Seldaara: Hopefully it won't do that for you. crying Aleve does nothing for my headaches..I had taken some the day I had my first migraine...ugh.

SilverMist: eek How did you do that? eek Poor thing. *huggles gently*

Well I'm staying away from Aleve/Naproxen then. That stuff wasn't fun.

hello neo, thanks for the huggle. now if only that touch of gentle kindness would alleviate my personal demons. wish it would, I do. ( yoda speak)im currently going through my very own personal dilemma. i cant ....exxaggerate the feeling that it is.
im being choked off and at the same time it feels like im growing. and as i reach the limitation of growth, my energy is getting violent animalistic and threatens to explode. which is making me, animalistic and vicious. i feel like an aggravated animal that only cares for the thirsting destruction and pain for others. and it takes soo much to hold onto that stitch of kindness and self repri anded straightlined autority. its cold and choking and when grasping it all/ leaves me wishing for hope.

and that s a very confusing bundle of words.

along the lines of pain relievers. i would suggest a powdered mix of advil, tylenol and aleve. takes the sting out of the itch PLUS! it tastes like sweet tarts.

trust me i should know. pain is not a good thing when yo know your alive. although its a touchy reminder.
and as for ovarian cysts. all i can say is thank you ladies. i think im going cellibate ( no sex/bad spelling tonight) just for thought of that. at lest until i can find a way to reduce the amount of injures cause to people be it outside or internal frces at work.

ahh the work of a pragmatist is nver done.

love is but the needle, the injection itself is merciful.

Loki: That's what I figured. gonk

Well, its because cartilage quits mending itself after you turn 15. So if you tear it, to prevent further damage, they have to fix it or remove it. sweatdrop

For my pain scale...they made me pick a very low number, for after my surgery, so they and my Mom think I can only handle up to a 2. But...I've worked on a level 9 pain before. sweatdrop

I'm so happy. Next week I finally get my stitches out. YAY. And then...onto the painful physical therapy process. sweatdrop Yippee.

Silver - You should move to Alaska already. xP

Loki: When you start your physical therapy, find someone that you can focus on his/her voice when doing the exercises. My brother's mother-in-law had knee surgery last fall, and she said when she had a good voice to focus on, calling out the count of the different exercises, she focused on that rather than the pain of the physical therapy. When I do my physical therapy for my shoulder, the place I go to always has music playing in the background, which helps. I also tend to think about my different guardians/spirit guides during the counting or when I'm on the hand bike. It makes me focus on them, rather than the pain. It really helps.

Seldaara: You could be allergic. eek A doctor gave me medicine for nausia, and I could not take it, I wanted to climb the walls. xp

Chels: Good luck. *huggles*

SIN: *huggles again*

I went to the dentist yesterday, and the eye doctors today. xp My eyes have changed a little and my cleaning went good as usual...but the bright light that was shined in my eyes and my sore gums...is giving me a migraine...ugh. stressed xp

The Last Mimsy: Looks like a cute movie, I love the bunny. biggrin heart

indeed. lack of attendance can be slow...very sow. .

this is my formal request to go hunting for new active member to gaia. for as we all know, the new members (noobs) are like little five or three year old children on suger and crack together, hyper and full of life.

Neo:........ huggles eh? ** returns huggle** awkward.......** steps back to corner** so many cheery emotions....where my energy drinks? mech WHEEE!!!

Loki: Ah, yeah, that makes sense. That and if any chunks broke off that could lock up my knee. I'll know by the end of the month.

Neo: Hmm, it's a possibility, for sure. I seem to be allergic to so many things all of a sudden.

*nods* If nothing else, I'll see if they'll just let me listen to music while I'm there. It'd be a big help for me - more so than thinking of my familiars (some of whom would be laughing at me for why I had knee surgery *coughDaecough*) or even focusing on the voice of the person working with me. sweatdrop Thanks for the tips. ^_^

Seldaara: sometimes it takes time for allergies to form to medicines, it did with my grandma, she became deathly allergic to penicillin and still cannot take it.

SIN: Only because I don't know what to say sometimes and a huggle seems always, well almost always, the right thing. sweatdrop I can't seem to get my words out sometimes... crying Noobs are like kittens. blaugh heart Today I am a chatterbox. blaugh

Naomi Tinuveil: Hiya. biggrin Glad you came by. smile Do you play rpg games? I can recommend Maple Story, it is great and supported by most computers...unless they are VERY old. Here is the link: http://www.nexon.net/ They have a new dance game..I haven't played it yet...they are not my thing but it looks kinda cute. They are both FREE and you can have fun and do anything without having to buy a thing. biggrin

Cacao Reserve by Hershey's, milk chocolate truffles---OMG it is soo good! domokun They melt in my mouth and are too good! biggrin heart
