I lift up my sword and look in the dirrection in which the sound was comming from. "Chrys, Do you have a weapon of somekind? If not, you can use my sword, I have another weopon I can use."

I nod and keep a sharp look out. I strain my ears for the slightest of sounds and I look in every shadow for movement. I get a sinking fealing in the pit of my stomach as if someone, or something were watching us.

"Chrys, what's wrong?" I look back but then I see something flash in the corner of my eye. "Chrys, look out!" I shove her out of the way, just as something sharp grazed the side of my face. I help Chrys up and then raise my sword. "Are you okay? What's wrong?"

Kaiosho San whats with the strike through? (They are speaking telipathically. I guess they just want us to be able to to tell the diffrence.)

I run in tunnel after tunnel, cavern after cavern, with Kuroi following and Mizuho above, leaving an invisible sprite dust trail. I stopped from time to time to check my direction, and finally we hear a frightened murmur and a growl.

When we stop I lean in closer so that only Chrys could hear. "Do you have any idea on what we are up against?"
