In Flames - Reroute to Remain

i can't think of any fans of In Flames who like anything other than "Cloud Connected" and "Trigger" off of that album.

you and i, my friend, are what i like to call "cool".

i loved the whole album (though i liked other albums more...). i especially liked "Free Fall", "Dawn of a New Day", and "Metaphor"

Galneryus - "Fly With Red Winds"

THERE WE GO. i'm more of a "Black and White" and "Minus" kind of guy. i think the chorus on "Dark Signs" has to be some of the most genious s**t to ever come from In Flames.

"Fearless" by Hypocirsy. this is the most empowering, adrenaline charged metal song i've heard months. i swear, blasting this song in your car would leave with one slogan: "I BURN CHILDREN FOR FUEL."

Nevermore - Born

This album ('This Godless Endeavour') is pretty great, up there with the best of 2006, although it's mainly the last 3 songs which make it shine.

yeah, i think Reroute and Whoracle had probably the best lyrics..the other albums tend to have nothing but strange(and hard to figure out) or completely nonsense(The I is Lost in Me?) lyrics. i listened to their cover of Genesis' "Land of Confusion" last night, for the first time in a good while....forgot how good that song was domokun

currently: Leaves Eyes - "Lovelorn" (i finally got an album!!!)

dear GOD, that's terrible. Colony has some of my favorite lyric work ever though. and from what i've heard and what i can make out of the lyrics from the upcoming "Come Clarity" album... things don't look TOO dark for In Flames. i still have faith smile

the riff to that chorus and the drum beat is absolute GENIOUS.

yes, i must hear more of the new album, but i'm trying to wait until the album is actually released. things definitely seem to be looking up for the band though
