It was awhile before the girl finished waxing the floors but no one had disturbed her while she had been cleaning. The floors reflected the sunlight that shined on it magnificently and it looked how a new floor should have looked. The rags were cleaned and the dirty water dumped before everything was put away. When everything was said and done, Anfisa crumpled onto a random place on the clean floor. Her entire face was a light pink and her breathing was a notch faster than it normally would be. She just wanted to fall asleep in the sunlight now that she was done. The sun felt good against her skin but a shadow quickly took that warm feeling off her skin. Her eyes opened up to see the old priest with a wrinkled smile on his face. "Good job..." the old man spoke, holding out the case that belonged to the Chanson de Anges towards her. Anfisa smiled warmly, nodding and taking the case. She would have to be more careful so she didn't have to do another chore she hated to do. "Thank you, grandfather!" the girl spoke, slowly getting to her feet and holding the case close to her, "I'll keep better care of this. I promise."

Apollo glanced back at the town once more before setting onto the trail that led to his next stop. He was heading to a city southwest of the port the travelers would be taken to from their island. Hopefully they would stop arguing and rub two braincells together by the time he got there, and they'd be there when he was. Apollo hadn't been on the trail for more than ten minutes before he felt he was being watched. The man paused, glancing around him out of his peripheral vision, but not turning his head. He pretended to pick something up, and as he bent down he turned his head slightly to look over his shoulder. As he stood back up, Apollo turned around. "Who's there?" he asked before he felt an arm around his neck. "Boo~" came the voice in his ear. "What have we here~?" Apollo remained calm, not reacting to the girl who held him. He stayed silent. "Not the talkative type, eh? That's a shame." Keara used her free hand to take the dagger from her belt. "Just give me what I want and I'll let you go. You're kinda cute; I wouldn't want to mess that up~" She held the dagger a fraction of an inch from his face, waiting to see his reaction. .. Nothing. Keara could feel the man's pulse from where she held his neck; it hadn't changed. It was as if she wasn't there. "Why aren't you scared?" she asked the man, trying to hide the exasperation in her tone. "Because you're not going to do anything," Apollo replied simply. "Says who?" Keara didn't like this guy.

"You said it, actually," Apollo pointed out. "You said you didn't want to mess up my cute face~" He smirked slightly, but remained calm. "That doesn't mean I won't," Keara retorted. Apollo's smirk became a smile. "Okay then, what do you want?" he asked her. "How much money you got?" the girl asked, holding the dagger dangerously close to Apollo's face. She felt that she was starting to regain the upper hand, but the man's composure kept her from getting too confident. "Enough." Keara scowled. Smart a**, she thought before saying, "Give me half." "Why only half?" "None of your business; just give me the money!" Keara was quickly growing impatient.

Unlike most flute cases, Anfisa had always kept the Chanson de Anges in a long, cloth case that she could easily strap to herself. If she kept it in a hard carrying case, she tended to absentmindedly leave it in places. It wasn't that she was trying to be irresponsible, but that she easily got excited over things and ended up dropping items constantly. "I'm heading out Grandpa!" the girl called out as she put on her long boots once more. She wasn't a practitioner at the temple so it got rather boring to be there too long. She was always finding excuses to leave the temple though the old priest didn't like her leaving. Her skills with the flute she had were well-known about the city, though outside the city it wasn't talked about too much. "Where are you going?" the man's voice came back. "I'm gonna play around town!" came the response, which meant she was going to play the flute. "Don't go out too far!" the man called back. The girl gave a small sigh, clearly not getting the response that she wanted. Still, she had to obey it unless she wanted another punishment.

"You know, you're not a very good bandit," Apollo commented as he reached for his pouch. He had about forty silver pieces; he gave twenty to Keara. "And you're pretty stupid, carrying around this much money. You're just asking to be robbed!" Keara pocketed the money quickly. Apollo smiled. "Can you let me go now?" he asked her. Keara scowled. She brushed the knife along his cheek just enough to draw blood before letting him go.

Holt grinned. That girl was amusing enough to watch; this hadn't been the first Spring he'd seen her do something similar to that. Sure, other clueless humans took the shiny metal away from each other for some odd reason, but they were usually of the other gender. He twitched his ear a final time, before spinning around to head away. Maybe he could catch something before he got back to camp... The boy stood up on his large-pawed rear legs, and continued to walk away. He was in no rush, so why should he bother with four legs?

When he was released, Apollo touched a fniger to the thin trail of blood going down his cheek. "Did I annoy you that much?" he asked her. "No, of course not," Keara replied, her words oozing with sarcasm. Apollo continued smiling. "How about I make it up to you?" "How about you get a move on before I kick your a**?"

To put it simply: Claw was bored. He had nobody to talk to, nobody to give him the attention he craved. Mickey had gone away back to Larissa, leaving Claw by himself. The angel pulled himself to his feet, and followed after her. 'Okay, maybe this isn't something I'd do. Ever. But hey, I'm not at home. Stupid Larissa or Nariko won't do anything about me and Mickey.'
