PQ and Retrostacja Captain

"PQ is good enough for me," she said to Deceptus as she rested her hand on Krivvek's chest. There was no doubt that his heart was beating strangely. Looking up to Derek, the concern sweeped over her face. "367, carry Krivvek please. To where Harlow is."
Standing straight, she gestured to Krivvek as she kept her eyes on Derek. "My daughter kept his heart beating by syncing it up to hers. That's how we kept him alive for so long. It's magic, don't ask, but it doesn't seem to have gone back to normal after you put in the pace maker. They need to go back."
PQ didn't want to leave the girl she brought in alone. She felt like she was her responsibility. But it was her daughter that could be hurting, and she couldn't bear the thought of that. "We need to go back," she corrected after a second or two.

Derek was busy. The girl had lost a lot of blood.
But he could talk. "Are you sure it's not an issue with the pacemaker itself? Sometimes they're wonky right off the bat and I want to make sure its set right before you leave. I've never had a head for magic, but getting back out here from the caves is a doozy and a man in his condition shouldn't really be..." he trailed off as the girl's vitals started to stabilize. At least she'd make it. And if PQ said something was needed at the caves, he was going to have to trust it.
"I've got my hands a little full. I want to see him within the week. I don't have a head for this magic crap, so just take it easy."

Deceptus took a moment in consideration. "Want me to go with you? I have not been very action happy recently, and besides I could probably help you with anything you needed." Deceptus had a feeling he was almost done repair and he had gone long enough without his chest piece, why not a little longer? Deceptus also needed a new place to stay now that all his options had been eliminated, and without his chest piece the sewer was out of the question.

CM lifted her helmet up, " all done!" she exclaimed excitedly, " go ahead try it out." she wanted to double make sure she did everything up to par.
" I can help here if you need it,I don't remember much; if anything but I would love to help where it is needed most. " said looking over at Derek, " and PQ don't worry, if there is help needed somewhere else I think you should be there." she gave a smile to PQ.
CM paused a moment still looking at PQ, that was it! She used to be a robot! " PQ, how did you become human?" she was completely puzzled.
( she has no memory of omnidrink, or how they change robots into humans, she also forgot she is still undergoing that change)

Deceptus stood up and moved his left arm, it was back to normal and no issues. "So, what do you say PQ? Want me to go with you?" Deceptus had shown a little look of concern on his face about the answer even though he was desperately worried because he could not stay here, he had no jacket or his long-coat and only one sword with no place to live ignoring the fact that he had no chest armor. Deceptus stood there waiting for an answer from PQ, he needed one and if he did not even get the chance to stay where ever PQ and company had gone he was in trouble with an uncertain near future.

There was a lot of things directed at her at one time. They all sort of talked to her simultaneously, and for a second she felt overwhelmed. But it only lasted a second or two.
"Deceptus, you're with me. But don't do anything flashy, especially in your condition. Because if you cause any trouble, I am leaving you behind." There was no doubt in her voice as she looked at the android. Turning to CM, she smiled slightly. "Magic. You stay with Derek, I won't be responsible for your health declining. He's a doctor, I'm not. You'll be more use to him if you know metal work, which you do."
Walking over briskly to the supply corner she grabbed herself a few supplies. "I can bandage myself up when we get back," she explained to Derek. "Take care, I'll see you in a week, and tell Joe thanks for me."

CM nodded. Where ever she was needed she would go, if it meant here then she would stay.
She saw PQ grab some supplies. Curiously, she saw some clothing lying around in a pile. CM went over to the little pile and started to sift through it. Finding some items, she changed.
She then wore a men's shirt, a bandana as a scarf and a pair of shorts.
One thing that was troubling her were her bandages, they were starting to rip. She really didn't want Derek to see her horrid face. As quickly and stealthy as possible she removed them, replacing them with an eye bandage and a face mask. For now it would suffice.

Derek, having done what he could to keep the girl in one piece, turned to PQ and the rest as they started for the elevator. "I'll catch you again when it's less crazy around here. I promise." He gave her a quick wave and turned to the girl who was rummaging through his entirely unorganized clothing nook.
He walked up to her as she was rushing to bandage her face up and stopped her wrist with his cool metallic hand. "Not so fast, there. I want to take a look at you before it gets busier around here." He smiled calmly and charmingly. "CM, is it? From the sounds of things your memory is a little fried. How much metal you have in there?" He slowly made to pull down the girl's bandanna.

Nodding to Derek she made sure everyone else was out before she closed the elevator door. Taking a deep breath she absently clutched the locket around her neck. Resting her other hand on Krivvek as 367 held him.

Harlow stayed in Ash's arms, gasping for air as her head started to spin. She hadn't felt this dizzy since the one time she and her mom spun around in circles for so long that Harlow threw up. Then she had been laughing before and even after. But this time she was anything but giggly.
Even as Eguze talked, and even as Harlow looked down at Hakobe, it was hard to see straight. There was white on the edges of her vision and it was hard to keep pushing it away. But she knew how to fix Hakobe. If she could just catch her breath, if her heart would slow down....

"NO!" CM's hands flew up out of pure instinct, knocking Derek's hands away. ' I hope he did not see anything!' CM screamed in her head.
She put her hands up to her face, making sure only her eye was showing. She took a few deep breaths once she was an arm's distance away from him. It took a minute or two, but she calmed down.
" My memory is fried, but alot of things seem so farmiliar," she paused, " like PQ and that soldering set over there." she nodded toward the space where Deceptus just was laying. " Actually I already had a flashback of someone, but I have no idea who he was. Whoever he was though, he taught me how to solder. " CM moved her hands behind her head to double secure the mask across her face.
" How much metal do I have. . .?" she pondered, could it be she was like PQ and magic was changing her into a human, but at a slower rate? This sparked her interest, " I have no idea how much metal I have, or had. If you can find out by NOT looking at my face I will be honored if you could find out. Is that possible?"
She hoped it would. If she could find out anything about herself, it would ease alot on her mind.
"I am not injured, I am messed up, but not injured in a way that needs immediate attention. So if there is anyone else who needs help I would rather we help them first. My self discovery can wait. "

Derek was surprised by the outburst and took a step back when she smacked his arms away. "Hey, it's okay. I'm just trying to help is all," he said in a friendly tone. "Film is limited but I can run an X-Ray. I'm afraid it'll have to be a project for another day, though." He paused and took a step towards her, being sure not to be threatening. "And whenever you're ready to take the bandages off, just know that I'm a doctor. I'm not going to judge."
He smiled to the girl before turning to the deactivated robot 367 had brought in with him. "In the mean time, I could use the help with this one. Let's see if we can jog any more memories while we get this guy back in working order."

CM tucked the a lock of her hair back into her hat nervously, " I am sorry for the outburst, it was out of reaction. "
When Derek took a step toward her, she tensed a bit before he spoke, " t-thank you" she stammered out nimbly.
Standing on her tip toes, CM wavered to look over his shoulder at the deactivated robot. " What do you need?" she lowered herself back down, " I will get anything you need " she smiled.
It was something in that line that made her get a chill. She felt like she said that often, with a smile just like what she just did. Giving her head a slight shake she put herself back into the current situation.
" you said. ..Joe is bringing people from the outside ? " she was trying to get a grip on who and what was happening around her.

A big part of Derek's job was reading people, and he could see the girl's smile in her eye as she spoke. He responded with a grin of his own as he lead the way over to the bot and rolled a lamp over from Deceptus' table. "Joe is running for now. He's stronger than I am, so I like to let him do the heavy lifting." The robot's chest had clearly been crushed by the debris, but was solidly in one piece. He got to work taking its chestplate off, using tools built into his mechanical hands to pry it open. He whistled loudly at the mangled innards of the bot's chest cavity. "Old model. Poor thing. Grab that set you were using before and a power supply from the back. Lets see if we can guinea rig something that can get him running again."
He started to sift through the cables and broken circuitry. Poor thing, indeed.

CM nodded, before she scurried over to grab the soldering set. When she came back she set it next to Derek. His body was hovering over the open robot.
In a blink of an eye he changed, instead of being him, Derek became an elderly man. One with his hairline receeding, goggles pressed against his eyes, and he too was hovered over a mangled robot. He turned to her and-
CM bit her lip hard enough to snap herself out of it. She had a job to do here and now, and she would not let herself fail. After her moment's pause she ran to the back and grabbed a power supply just like Derek asked.
When she returned she looked at the open insides of the robot, while standing next to Derek, " well if we want the most voltage out of this here power supply we will have to hook up, " CM paused to look at the various damaged wires but found nothing farmiliar, " we have to hook whatever the wires are, in a parallel circuit, correct?"
She didn't want to intrude on his expertise, but in a way doing this calmed her down." Sorry if that is too forward of me, you are the doctor afterall" she held up her hands and took a step back.
Even though she knew what lay outside of these walls, this place at this moment seemed safe.

Deceptus squeezed through the door with everyone. "Thanks, I really had nothing else to do." Deceptus was very thankful towards PQ who now appeared to no longer have bias towards him.
