Archmage Jon-OH why are you spending that much time at the school? Because the children's show we did last semester was selected to go to ACTF (the American College Theater Festival.) This means meetings, working my scenes I'm doing, and rehearsing the show... all the time. rolleyes And next week I'll be in St. Louis at the festival. 1 full week: 100% toil and unhappiness with people who don't like me. 0% fun. but if it isn't fun, why do it? I mean, is it a degree requirement that you bust your hump for a show you did last semester?

NightRayn School must be kicking everyone's rear. This place is so empty lately. Well, I'd still be on at nearly every other hour of the day pretty much saying every third thing in the active threads if I had my laptop*. -a friend of mine just transferred some Diablo II files directly to it and then it started to become very slow. It was like the lag back on a bad day for starcraft but in the computer itself. The next day whenever I'd turn it on it would just slow down and then the videocard would stop trying to function and everything went down to the lowest resolution. I don't think it was even displaying more than 100 colors total. Now it's been in the shop for about three weeks crying . Luckily that's about the max it ever takes them so I should have it back soon (and can start making myself anoyingly present here all the time again,) and with any luck I won't have lost the 50% Full Metal Alchemist torrent I was leeching the school resources to get for about a month.

Jon-OH does that show get any better after the first like, 4 episodes? Not sure, with torrents the files rarely complete sequentially so I only had a random mixing of them and didn't want to spoil the plot too much for myself.

Jon-OH but if it isn't fun, why do it? I mean, is it a degree requirement that you bust your hump for a show you did last semester? No... but it is a requirement to ever getting cast here again. Plus not being so intensely hated by everyone in the department... students and professors alike... that I'd be in fear for my own safety. The reason being, one of the actors quitting a day before leaving for the festival would mean destorying the work of some 50 other people, since the show couldn't go on. Particularly considering the fact that this is the first CMSU show to be selected for the festival in something like twenty years. I may be pissed at the situation, but I'm not about to do that. Instead, I'll just wish in vain that I had never been cast in this particular show in the first place. stressed

I watched The Punisher with my mom tonight. She said that she doesn't usually like violence in movies but she really thought it was good.
