I'm joking about spam belonging everywhere, but I honestly don't see the need to delete posts simply because they are not 100% on topic, especially if the conversation was heading in the direction of spammy stuff anyway. It's not like people can't continue talking about the subject if something comes up that needs to be discussed, and the spam usually stops after a few posts anyway.

I thought both of the posts were mainly directed at me, as all the other posts by other people about people not being serious or posts not being very on topic are so obviously directed at me that it's almost insulting that they aren't addressed directly to me.
