Alix appeared in the main hall. His slighty crippling body moving just fine for the moment. "Well its been a few months since I made it out of that room" he said clutching the amulet that was slowly killing him. "The Hall hasnt changed" he said looking around at all the people. "Just the people in it"

Alex was clutching his head, leaving for his room in the inn. And on his way out, something caught his eye... "Master Desmound!" He calls and rushes to the aging man. "Are you sure you should be up?"

"oh?" he said turning and as he turned he went from old man to a youthful prince like figure. "Why dont I look good enough to be out and about?" he said with a laugh in a cool calm voice. Then he face returned to normal. "Its good to se you again my boy" he said grabbing his pupil in a hug.

"It's good to see you too Master Alix." He smiles but is instantly reminded of his dream. "Master, I..." He begins. But he stopped, he didn't want to worry the old man. He'd probably just laugh though, and comment on how he could easily take an elf or too. Alex had already casted his spell on his chamber a while ago. But... he was still worried.

"So you want to tell me about the dream in which I am killed by and Elf is that about right?" come on he was Alix Desmound your not even safe in your own mind. "Let me assure you Alex if that where to happen it just met Tallia has work for me else where" he said with a smile. Then he turned and became the princly man again.

Damn, I'm so drunk I couldn't even put up a mental barrier. I hadn't prepared to meet Master. He sighs. "Sir... I know I can not stop you, but please. Be careful." He asks of the man. "We're doomed if you were to leave us."

"Dont sell yourself short, You and Kai are great hopes for the future, and when I pass and yes I said when it will be up to you two. by the by where is your friends Kai?" his magick was to powerful to keep under control so he began to switch between his younger self and his older self.

"I wouldn't place too much hope in me..." He says silently and looks away for a quick second before returning to Alix. "I know you will pass, but I would prefer it to be as far away as it can be." He smiles. "I could never hold up the barrier like you do everyday. You make it seem so easy." He completely ignores the subject of Kai, purposely of course.
But Alix knew Alex. He would know that him trying to avoid a subject means bad news.

Alix looked at the amulet and then at Alex. "Please my apprentice you will be ready when I die and for some reason if your not it will be my fault. So who is Kai with that is troubly you my child?" he said peering into his mind like an open book. "Why does this Rina bother you she seems to make Kai happy isnt that all that matters?"

Alex was so hungover that his mental defenses were low enough for Alix to peer into his so easily. Normally he couldn't do so. That was because after spending so much time with Alix, he had developed very powerful mental barriers that stops this sort of thing. Alex is one of the very few people in the world who could shield his mind from master Desmound.
But that's kinda irrelevant at the moment...
"You know my reasons." Master Desmound was the only person in the entire kingdom that knew the truth. That was because when they first met, Alex hadn't yet developed his mental wall. All his secrets were destroyed. "And you know why I hate subhumans, and half humans. I hate her, and you know why." He was a bit redundant at the moment.
"You don't understand though. You may know, but you don't understand." Alex shakes his head.

"Yes my pupil always with the hate but you never hate Kai dont let this girl make you think less of Kai. I wont have it Alex" he said with a stern voice this was the voice the king answered too. He shifted back to his older self. "At my 150th birthday ball you will make amense with Kai"

Alex raises an eye brow. "Oh really? You are a powerful man Master Alix. But I don't think you hold the ability of foresight." He replies. He knew what he meant, he was trying to command it. But he wouldn't let anyone force him, even the most powerful human in the world.
"I shall make amends when the gods decide it is time. That's to say if I do make amends."

"Why is it so hard to forgive Kai when he hasnt done anything wrong. For the peoples sake this cant be allowed" he said as he pendant glowed sucking alittle more life out of him. "Pettiness cant be the downfall of the kingdom"

Alex shakes his head. "Only you would say something like that. You don't understand Master. He picked her over me. And if he wants to keep it that way, so be it. I can still cause good for the kingdom, even if I'm not his helper. You know as well as I do, that I only got that position because we were friends long ago." He explains but stops that useless attempt.

"The fate of the kingdom rest on the to of you joining as one being in a sense. You both have the qualities that the kingdom needs to survive. but seeing as how you are using personal feeling and letting them cloud your judgement" he said turning around. "Be gone Alex. I hope that bye tomorrow you see the error of your ways. He said as he scuttled foward.
