Xemaca Yep. Heck...if you join up with the militia and head to R&D...I could pull a few strings so that you out-rank Smith. I'm sure he won't mind. Tell me that that was no more than a simple ploy to get me to post more often.

Possibly. And the Dunerunner could use a Second Mechanic. It's a pretty easy going officer position, just we don't have enough Militia members to even fill command posts.

My dad's off at a work thing and won't be home until late tommorrow night, and my sister is going to be gone consoling a recently single friend most of the day as well, so I need to remain home in case of emergencies. And one of the few edicts I was left with was "No one else in the house." so...

I would enjoy it. But I'm not all that great with Military RPs, so if they're looking for experience I'm screwed. I'm pretty good at making up technical jargon. Like that, anyway: "Look what you did to the rapid energy generation capacitor! And how did you bust the gravitational axis on the System Navigations Programs?! I'll have to do a full teardown!" And such and such. I blame that kind of talk from pretending to be "Jet" when my friend and I played Tank Girl. So if you're not looking for the awesome RPer who should be a writer, I'm pretty good.

...and...If you're good at making up technical Jargon Ms. Chaos...then that's perfect for R&D (Research and Development) I'm head of that department, with a rank of Lieutenant. I think you will excel as an R&D scientist...and you might be doubly motivated if you hold a rank above Smith.
