Nuriko blinked and shook Tamahome a few times.
"What do you mean 'There you are.' You didnt even notice I was missing, did you?"
He said in a pouty tone and crossed him arms. Despite his curiosity to know what the two were doing way out here alone, he decided to ignore it. What these two did in their free time wasnt his concern. After all, he still had a certain someone to impress and follow relentlessly. Ack. Speaking of him, he hadnt seem him in awhile.
"...Where's Hotohori-sama? What if... what if... he got lost? Or hurt or worse! Maybe he got kidnapped and is being forced to be unspeakable things against his will..."
The last one was probably a little farfetched, even in his mind, but it was possible. Hotohori was young, gorgeous and very wealthy. Who wouldnt want him? ...This only made him more irritated. Hotohori-sama was his and his alone, until he decided otherwise.

Miaka smiled at Nuriko, it was good everyone was catched up now. She laughed at Tamahome cringing at Nuriko and then watching Nuriko flip out over Hotohori and she then remembered her previous time alone with Nuriko.
"Ah...Nuriko...Tamahome, shouldn't we go try to find more seishi? I mean...and maybe a inn with...umm food?" she said rubbing behind her head laughing loudly. Her stomach was empty and she wanted food.
She then smiled innocently hoping one of them knew a place to eat and would help her get there, "Ah! Rice would be good! Or jello! Ahh...prime rib! Or even root beer floats!" she said while she was dancing.

Korin-Chan |ooc: One might say this is the perfect oppertunity for the Suzaku seven to catch up. xd | ((True. Providing they havent already surrended and ran off... which would explain their lack of appearance, save a couple. >.>;; )) Nuriko blinked and let out a sigh, such a serious conversation about the sake of their beloved Emperor and all she can think about was her stomach. Go figure. "Hai.. hai... somehow I don't think we're going to find everything there, but no point in letting you starve, ne Tama-kins?" He glanced back at the cowering warrior still on the ground and sweatdropped. "Eh heh. Come on Tama! You must know lots of good places to eat around here ne?"

OOC ::Bow:: Please forgive me this one Ms. Little...I can't help it! (Ok...so I CAN...but don't want to!)Yue Kurine " "...Where's Hotohori-sama? What if... what if... he got lost? Or hurt or worse! Maybe he got kidnapped and is being forced to be unspeakable things against his will..."

Hotohori-sama was his and his alone, until he decided otherwise. " And he decided otherwise....a Long Time ago..when he ever so graciously gave him up. ::Evil winking grin:: I do give you credit, working that in to the RPG to slap in my face...Bravo..how sinister of you. One of us in no time. I mean giving up his majesty to our cause all but clenches it...Korin-Chan |ooc: One might say this is the perfect oppertunity for the Suzaku seven to catch up. xd | Allow me to, in my impecable fashion...Ruin the "Perfect Opportunity, by returning!
I love it...So I am taking it and going to add it as I feel neccessary!
Long Live Seiryuu Seikun and His Noble Servants! - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -Subaru (Korin-Chan) Subaru gasped within the shadows as she felt the suffocating grasp lift away from her form, at last she was free to wield her magics and to the greatest of advantages, not only that but Tatara had begun to call forth his own and Nakago had made a very dangerous mistake, he had left Subaru free to wield all her magic...and that meant...
"Tatara!" she called loudly, though she remained hidden 'somewhere' within the shadows for she was the shadows at this moment in time. Her voice would alert him and as she left the palace gates, her dissipated figure flowing easily through the shadows she began to weave her magics around not herself, but instead Tatara.
The symbol upon her breast began to burn angrily as the powers of Byakko surged through her, the deity aiding his loyal seishi as best he could within the foreign lands and as the symbol brighten the magic that she summoned forth began to seep over the body of Tatara, the white aura pulsing around him. Upon any sort of impact to Tatara's body, the aura would crackle and retaliate...much like the shrine's shield. So it was true, even a shogun, an elite could make terrible mistakes...
"I win," she whispered as she continued to focus her powers on the shield around Tatara as she glanced around, remaining within the shadows to avoid being sighted too soon or she could jeopardise his chances of survival yet something caught her attention a light, merry whistle...within the distance.
"Hmm..." She murmured and continued to creep through the shadows towards the whistling in the distance. Tatara and the Power of Byakko (Korin-Chan) "Seiryuu," Tatara replied coolly as he closed his eyes, smiling warmly as the aura enveloped him. The whip would have been of concern to him but now that a shield remain around him, protecting it from his blows he could continue to be calm and collected...he could time his attack perfectly, however even now, beneath his feet the weeds within the cracks of the tiles had begun to grow, snaking up the back of his legs towards the chains that binded him...As they grew, they would weaken the chains, he just had to be patient.
Yet after a few moments he released a bemused chuckle and glanced upwards at the loud roar. The being producing the angered cries had moved now and seemed to be heading towards Tatara's right, yet after a few moments there was a brief scratch upon the tiles and the large feline leapt from the rooftops, landing on all fours with its teeth bared.
The piercing blue eyes turned their gaze upon that of Nakago and the hair on the back of the feline's neck rose as it began to approach a peculiar white aura beginning to surround it in the similar fashion to the one that now surrounded Tatara. Yet the feline was much bigger than most of its species and the fur coat much whiter, the black stripes therefore looking much darker and menacing in contrast.
It's ears rested flat against its head and it released another roar as it swiped out a forepaw in warning, the tail swaying from side to side in warning...what a pretty white tiger this was, no?
"I would like you to meet my friend," Tatara purred and glanced towards the tiger, who paused briefly and almost seemed to smirk, a deep wisdom and intelligence within its eyes, "He isn't very happy with you, you know..." Amiboshi (Takefumi Tonami) Amiboshi was more than just a bit concerned at everything that was going on. He had never before felt anything quite like what was going, and frankly, he had no idea what to do. What he did know was that the priestess was in danger. Whatever was going, he was staying right here to protect her with his life.
I just wish somebody would tell what's happening, he thought. He opened the door and took a peek outside; there wasn't much to see. He took a glance back at Yui, with the Nakago's barriers, she would be totally safe. It wouldn't hurt to go out for just a little while and figure out what was happening. He considered it for a minute, and decided against it, she might get scared, and he was right where he needed to be. He needed another solution. Tomo (Kitty Little) ::This meant war. The Byakko lad was handsome, but there was no way he would be spared now. He dropped any and all illusions he was maintaining and approached the shogun.:: I need to step out for a moment, I have a promise to keep. ::He left the hall and grabbed the nearest servant scrambling by.:: Get my headpiece from my quarters. If anyone tries to stop, tell them I will personally have them executed. And make it quick! ::He re-entered the hall, a sour look on his face. He should have just worn the damn thing, he should have know he would need it, it was one of his favorite weapons. In the meantime, what could he be doing to stop the Byakko? Telekinesis? Tatara's plants looked like they could do some damage, but there was not anything incredibly useful in the room use could use to stop them. He strained his mind for some ideas, but waited for word from Nakago before doing anything else.:: ::Nakago turned once more, body facing the chained Tatara, right side to the shrin, left to The Great White Tiger, with Tomo betwixt the Tiger and Tatara. The emerging plants threatened the integrity of the great hall, and this fact was not lost on Nakago. The transfer of his own power left Subaru to have more freedom, and he knew where it came, directly around Tatara. Though, his whiop had not been meant to strike him, not this time..it was more to assure he had his attention. How she had known right where he was, and how she had known enough of what had gone on was still a mystery, and one he did not have the time to figure out now.::
::Eyes not leaving the Tiger at this point, he spoke, changes in tone and inflection making it clear who he was speaking to and about, even if he did not specify at each juncture, nor deviate from eyeing the "creature".::
::To Tatara:: "No...He isn't very happy with me...But he is no more angry with me than Seiryuu is with the desecration of his temple at the hands of you and your kind...And the god of battle will not back down from this fight. "
::To Tomo:: I am not sure the exact extent of the sorcery she has weaved concerning our temple...but I have tasted a similar aspect, and we shall deal with it in due course...in the mean time, those ominous plants are having detrimental effects on the stability of this hall, and perhaps even the tmple itsself..and we need to do something about that. We may not be able to directly enter the temple...but I believe that we came work around that as well..."
::He worded the next part in a manner that Tomo would know exactly what he meant, but the Byalkko would probably misinterperet or not truly understand the aspect of Tomo's power:: "...Project yourself into the temple, and You will be the medium for us to save the temple from this attack, and then we'll deal with the sorceresses seal, once we have taken care of the rest of this."
::This would only be a slight division of Nakagos power, leaving Yui under a protective barrier, along with Amiboshi at her side, then enough to sustain the temples intergity from the attack of Tatara's plants, and still leaveing Naakgo with the bulk to attend to the rest of what was heppening here in the great hall::
::It was a magnificent creature standing before him...glaring at him, with those eyes and an aura recognizable from his encounters with Seishi of the other beast gods. He did not waver i his stance, effectively being in the center of everything, the plants converging on the temple and the hall, Soon to break Tatara's chains...which were no longer of concern to him anymore, as his plan had apparently not gone as intended, Tatara, Weilding more power than ever before had seemed, even in his condition, Tomo...waiting, ready to act, and the Great Cat standing befor ehim int he very halls of Sieryuu.::
::To one end, this wa sperfect...He would need nothing more to convince Yui of the danger and their need to act immediately. They needed only deal with this immediate threat::
"So what now...Byakko...?"

[***Pouncing Tiger, Plotting Dragon?***]
"Nothing," a voice chirped merrily and it did not belong to Tatara. Instead, there was a brief flash of white light and no other than Tokaki stood beside Tatara, observing the chained up being before raising a brow, "Looks like I came just in time," He added and then glanced at the white cat.
"Lo Byakko," He murmured and offered a bow before leaning on Tatara's shoulder and turning to Nakago, "Shame you had to beat up one of our seishi, Subby would have been enough but noooo you had to pick on the tree hugger, ya big bully!" He snapped and tightened his grasp on Tatara, "Now just relax." He ordered causing Tatara to raise a brow...he hadn't planned this part.
Nevertheless, Tatara obeyed and simply closed his eyes at the command while Tokaki continued to chatter away to himself...or rather Nakago.
"And now I leave you in the capable hands of the divine Byakko!" He added and gave another bow before he concentrated his thoughts on the landscape he desired to teleport to and vanished in the blink of an eye...Tatara remained for a few moments, before he too vanished, the chains hanging limply against the wall.
However one creature did remain, the white tiger, who casually approached the sealed temple and lay before it. The cold gaze planted on the seiryuu pair in front of him as if he was challening them, yet he had made no hostile moves...In fact there was something very strange about this tiger.
Wouldn't an avatar use it's powers to help its seishi rather than just stand guard over them...?
[***Ominous Illusions***]
Subaru remained hidden against the walls, Tokaki had heeded her calls and fled but she remained within the city itself. She could hear and see everything that Nakago was attempting to do through the mind of the wild cat...the avatar of Byakko and she understood that she had little choice other than to react now.
She couldn't completely comprehend the meaning of his words, but something in the back of her mind screamed a warning...
It was with that in mind that she lowered her chi so that she remined hidden and the avatar protected as she began to weave further magics, gently she coaxed the clouds until they darkened and the loud thunder claps erupted across the sky, gently she coaxed the seas until the water began to crash against the edges of the landscape and gently she coaxed the wind until it toar across the city, ripping open the clouds to unleash the heavy rain that would soon feel like daggers upon the skin thanks to the ice cold north winds...
The storm would continue to grow and become more fierce as the hours drew on, but she was more concerned with one thing and with a smile she turned her gaze back towards the Kutou palace and nodded, the symbol of unity upon her breast flashing brightly and burning onto her skin as the strength of the seal around the shrine soared.
[***Pouncing Tiger, Plotting Dragon? - Byakko Speaks***]
"Interesting predicament you have yourself in Ayuru," The tiger spoke at last in deep, rumbling voice as he glanced towards Nakago with those eyes. Byakko's tail flickered briefly as the storm began to rise and then it simply began to sway back and forth again about it's tip.
"But you are wrong for we have not touched your temple, my warriors are not able to," he continued coolly and shook his head, blinking as he glanced towards Tomo and then back to Nakago again, "Ayuru, Douin has simply prevented you from entering as you attempt to evade and mislead the Suzaku seven...consider it a taste of your own medicene, no?" He purred and then sighed as he flattened his ears against the rain, his fur would protect him but there was a reason he liked the desert...
"Ayuru..." He repeated and shook his head sadly, almost through pity...he seemed lost for words...

::Tomo, for all his vast worldly experiences, was stunned. Of all the things to happen, this was the least expected, if he could have even predicted it. He nearly flinched at the beast's voice, especially hearing it speak Nakago's real name, which Tomo was certain very few knew. To top it all off, the Byakko seishi had escaped, and with something so huge happening, Tomo saw no point in starting any new illusions. He glanced at the shogun, and back to the beast. He could not keep a scowl off of his face. It was still beyond him why Byakko would interfere. Those meddling seishi had been annoyingly assumptive about the Seiryuu, and now they were in some serious trouble.::

Byakko's avatar continued to stare at Nakago for a long time however he glanced towards Tomo for a few minutes and almost seemed to smile knowingly, "And you..." He didn't directly address Tomo via his name but instead twitched his ears lightly, his tail flicking a little more as he canted his head to the side.
"May desire to try again on more neutral grounds," He purred and then returned his gaze towards Nakago once more.

And for a brief moment, Tomo considered what it would be like if he did 'try again.' As unlikely as that was, it was a nice fantasy. Just like the rest of his dreams, they were all just nice fantasies to bide the time. Tomo swallowed hard and tried to push back the trickle of conflicting emotions he was starting to feel. That damn inner turmoil was at it again, now of all times. His rather large ego was humbled by the awesome power of Byakko, and it left him just a little uncertain. It seemed pointless to hide anything from such a creature, but he still raised his head high, and tried to look confident while waiting for Nakago's command.::

"Sometimes swallowing your pride can lead to great rewards," he added and glanced towards the sky above him, releasing a small snarl as the lightning bolt slammed against a building outside the walls of the palace and promptly caused it to erupt into flames. "I suppose it is your move Ayuru," he finished and awaited patiently for the decision to be made.

The Beast God Reveals Himself (Korin-Chan) "Interesting predicament you have yourself in Ayuru," The tiger spoke at last in deep, rumbling voice as he glanced towards Nakago with those eyes. Byakko's tail flickered briefly as the storm began to rise and then it simply began to sway back and forth again about it's tip.

It seemed pointless to hide anything from such a creature, but he still raised his head high, and tried to look confident while waiting for Nakago's command.:: Ferocious Feline (Korin-Chan) Again, the feline's lips rose into a small smile at the reaction and he flicked his tail more abruptly as he glanced between the two, he was perfectly comfortable where he was and was simply awaiting for Subaru to remove herself from the kingdom before he followed, he had no intentions of staying around too long but he would address matters her considered important.
::Nakago remained silent and unmoving, emotionless as Tokaki and Tatara interacted, and as Tokaki slandered him with his words. They would surely meet again, on "better"terms. The escape of all of them was now irrelavent really, to what extent he did not know at the offset however.::
::Left in the hall, now alone, Tomo Himself and The great Cat who was becoming more interesting every moment...he could feel the beginnings of Subaru's attack upon the land. This too he would be able to use to his advantage as the time came. As the great cat passed around him, he left his body unmoving, almost defiantly, and simply turned his head as it lay down in front of their temple::
::The voice of the beast was magnificent, and this had been what Nakago had waited for...until he was stopped short....'Ayuru...'...Only a select few living or dead, man, and Seishi knew of that name, and much less its true connection to him. This clenched it. It had been alluded to, though Nakago had not believed it at first, and now it was confirmed, this was even more than he had expected, and the flurry of thoughts muddled in his head immediatly, frmo his own emotions trying to break free...to thoughts of how she had lied from the beginning...the first meeting...to how this could be regaurdless of her lies and truth...how Seiryuu would allow such a "tresspass". Surely the god's could contest eachother...All muddles and swirling within his mind, and he flinched outwardly, not as much as inwardly, and then narrowed his eyes, returning to the state of emotionlessness.::
::All in all..this was a great experience. To be in the prescence of the Avatar of one of the beast gods...the beast god itsself perhaps...dpeending on how you might loo k at it. And its understanding seemed quite comprehensive. So lying was not an option....One cannot fool a god now can you? But that didnt matter. Gaining control of the tormentous strom within himself, matching easily that which was being created outselde, he now turned and approached, in a relatively non-threatening way Byakko...speaking in truth, so as to not have it turned back against him should he attempt to lie.::
"Nothing that cannot be dealt with..."
"Evade and Mislead the Suzaku Seven? I by no means was to evade them...and Mislead would not be the word I would have used either. They are a threat to the summoning of Seiryuu..." ::Which was true...for if they succeeded, and her friend was truly her friend...Yui would be part of her wishes, and thus there would be no summoning of Seiryuu, even if he was not sealed away.::
"I meant to eliminate that threat, and by The Preistess of Seiryuu's wishes, with no harm to anyone. We would simply have kidnapped one of thier Seishi until Seiryuu could be summoned." ::This also being true, regaurdless of the fact that Hotohori was the target and that would have caused Konan to fall n to turmoil, in addition to completeing that purpose.::
::Now he moved more to the offensive::
"However...you...or your Sieshi, did not need to be involved in any of this. It did not concern you. Had She left when she was let go after our first meeting, none of these events would have transpired. Even now...she is causing more turmoil to Kutou. All the more to serve the neccessity of Seiryuu to save her from her enemies..." ::His choice of words was interesting here, and he was unsure who would catch what, he had not specified saving Kutou, though it had been afformentioned, but so then had Lady Yui as the Priestess of Seiryuu.::
::Inside Nakago was only being fueled with desire for revenge, for being lied to such, and being manipulated. He had paid no heed to the snap about getitng a taste of his own medicine. His aspirations would not let such semantics get in the way of it.::
::Surely the gods would not lie. And this confirmed the level of her "attack on the temple. It would be dealt with one way or another.::
::Nakago wasn't exactly paying that much attention to Tomo here... with obvious reason as to why. The comments directed to him were not lost on Nakago, but they were pushed back in his mind also, for more important things were at hand.::
"You seem to be quite knowledgeable about everything as it is...do you not already know what MY move shall be?" ::He questioned in almost a defiant sarcasm::
"Your Sieshi are free to leave..the barriers around the palace are gone...even the great seals surrounding Kutou are surrendered unto me... . I am Nakago, of the Seiryuu Seven...And we Will meet again." ::He put extra force and emphesis on Nakago, never acknowledging his real name::
::With a tinge of mystery, a tinge of something not easily identified...he stated again, almost if he was expecting them all to be listening, not just Byakko before him, though it included even the gods themselves.::
"We will meet again...."

"Are you certain of this?" Byakko replied calmly, he could have been referring to the confidence Nakago had in regards to the Byakko seishi or he could have been referring to the name but after a few moments more he released a sigh and rose to his feet, shaking his great bulk before rising up onto his hind legs.
The figure glowed briefly and the large feline form became a more humanoid build, it continued to morph until at last the light faded and before the pair of seishi stood no longer a tiger, but a humanoid being, the mark of Byakko upon his forehead. Now his facial expression could easily be read and it was not one of anger, but rather of pity and sadness.
"I know what moves you will make Ayuru and I know the outcome of each," He pointed out and glanced up briefly at the storm again before sighing and shaking his head, "I know your past, your present and your future but I pride myself on allowing a freedom of choice, all mortals have that gift," He lifted his hand briefly and motioned to the storm clouds, the symbol upon his forehead flickering to life as the winds began to shift and blow upwards to disperse the clouds.
"But be aware," He continued and flicked his wrist, commanding the winds to soften and become warmer once again, "That even if you summon my brother, some of your wishes will not come true," He whispered and placed his hands together once more, "Be aware that the lands of Sairou and Hokkan are protected by their deities...those that have already been summoned."
He smiled however after a few moments and arched a brow, "As for my seishi, all but one has left and she will soon follow." He pointed out in a wry tone before glancing at the shrine and placing his hand against the seal, it pulsed briefly against the palm of his hand before shattering into countless shards of light.
"Understand this however, we may meet again...but you will always be Ayuru to me." He finished and snapped his fingers, a silent command issued to his meddling seishi. At once, there was a reply and the flames vanished from the rooftops of the houses, a streak of white light shooting upwards into the sky before fading.
"It is done..." He finished and then turned his gaze back to the pair of seishi, "Now, would one of you be so kind as to show me the way out?" He enquired with a rather strange smile.

Lions and Tigers and Avatars, Oh My! (Korin-Chan) "Are you certain of this?" Byakko replied calmly, he could have been referring to the confidence Nakago had in regards to the Byakko seishi or he could have been referring to the name but after a few moments more he released a sigh and rose to his feet, shaking his great bulk before rising up onto his hind legs.
The figure glowed briefly and the large feline form became a more humanoid build, it continued to morph until at last the light faded and before the pair of seishi stood no longer a tiger, but a humanoid being, the mark of Byakko upon his forehead. Nakago was glad Tomo was there...such a things would be perfect for later decpetions, if not for the Byakko, perhaps slightly altered and used against the Suzaku. Nakago stood silent and unmoving as he spoke, taking in everything...from the confirmations concerning Hokkan and Sairou, to the "positions" of the Byakko Seishi. He remained still silent and unmoving flinching only as the seal on the temple was broken. In response to his final comments, Nakago nodded to Tomo, but did not speak, putting the "task" of "leading" him out on Tomo. This may be/have been what the Avatar wanted, but right now, Nakago did not care enough to choose otherwise. On one hand, being in the prescence of a diety was one thing, and on the other, he wanted him out of his sight. ::
::Taking one last long glance into the Avatar's eyes, he matched the glowing symbol on the Avatar's forehead with his own, glowing a bright blue, signifying him as Nakago of the Seiryuu Seven, Saying everythig, while still saying no words. If everything that was said was true....the words would be pointless. Then, he swept past him, having given the task of "leading Byakko out" to Tomo, into the Temple, the doors opening before him, not in a show of power as sometimes used, but more out of convenience.::
::Never turning back to face them, the words echoed from inside the temple::
"We will meet again..."

[***Byakko's Tour of Kutou***]
Byakko once again, shook his head sadly at being dismissed so easily, he could see that the seishi was so set in his ways and yet he couldn't stand the thought of all that would transgress if he continued, what a waste it would be... He pursed his lips however and after a few moments of regaining his composure he sent one last thought towards Nakago, a simple warning.
'Ayuru - To abuse your fellow seishi is one thing,' He was obviously referring to Ashitaire in this instance, 'But to abuse your miko is another, she is weak already and without love and care she may not live to complete all three of her wishes.' He paused for a few moments to allow this to sink in before continuing with another warning and one that perhaps would be somewhat more unweclome.
'And do not attempt to concoct an illusion from what you have witnessed today, for that is going beyond the boundaries... You are right Ayuru, we will meet again but perhaps not on the same grounds.' He finished and then turned to Tomo with a warm smile.
"Lead the way."
[***Tatara and Tokaki***]
"How are you feeling?" Tokaki enquired as he took a seat on one of the outcrops. They had been sitting in the same spot for a long time as Tatara attempted to regain his strengths. In truth, had it not been for the intervention of Byakko he wouldn't have had the strength to keep up appearances.
His limbs ached, his head pounded but how was he? He didn't know...Too many things, both physicall and mentally had occured and he could no longer put how he felt into words, his head was in turmoil and in combination with the pain of exhaustion, he really was not in the mood.
"I have felt better," He replied at last, resting his back against a tree trunk with a grim smile. Tokaki simply smirked at this and shook his head, turning his gaze towards the city of Kutou in the distance.
"Interesting place," He mused at last and grinned, "Pretty ladies but uh...a little too much violence for my tastes."
"Hmm.." Tatara responded.
"So who was the girl with the braids?"
"That was Subaru...another of the Byakko seven," Tatara explained with a chuckle.
"Ah, so - where to?"
"Well...when I can walk again I would suggest that we return to Sairou to recuperate..."
"Good idea!"
