Kira's ears perked, and she raised her head to stare at him when he spoke. Progress? No.. He'd cursed, and he wasn't even looking at her, and he'd again mentioned her ruining things. She pouted again, but picked up her pace so she could close the gap between them a little faster. Every now and then her not fully healed foot would give out beneath her, she'd stumble, then quickly stand straight again as she acted like nothing had happened.
"We're at a beach," she replied. "So do beach-ish things. It's too cold to swim though." A slight pause as she tilted her head back, staring at the sky as she tried to remember what else there was. "There's a movie theater, an ice skating rink, forest, hotsprings, mall, bakery, graveyard, club... town, amusement park..." She trailed off, running out of places to name.

Kazu tilted his head a bit to look at her and then looked straight. "Well, where the hell are those places then?" He asked with a sort of annoyed attitude, he had not been around here before and didn't know where everythign was, he just happened to stumble upon this beach. "You expect em to know where everything is, I just got here." He added looking at her with his sharp yellow eyes , with a sort of glare. It was starting to be one of those morning pissed off moods he had, and the flames where growing.

Kira looked surprised at first the response, then glared right back at him, arms folding across her chest and ears flattened back. Her human ears were still covered by a pair of headphones. She sighed, rolling her eyes. "You asked what there was to do," she replied. "You didn't ask where the places were. But if you pick one, I'll show you where it is. All of those are off campus somewhere." She paused, then glanced out over the water again. "And maybe you should bring a map, before you go wandering around an unfamiliar area." Her voice remained at a level tone, not yelling, but not very kind either. She was kind of getting annoyed as well. He shouldn't blame her for his own wording mistake, even if he did hate her. She'd had her doubts at first, but now was starting to believe he really did.

"Whatever." Kazu replied after she was finished, this time without a pause. he continued walking aimlessly straight, eventually he was bound to find some place. He was feeling a bit hot from the sun beating down on his bare arms and the left side of his face, hopefully wherever he was going would be nice and shady. He didn't like being hot, it did not make him feel good most of the time, and of course he did not like being in the sun much.
He walked in silence looking around the view in front of him and from time to time glancing at Kira. He knew she was probably going to continue following him until he went to his room, she would not dare follow him to his room, would she. Maybe if she had lost her mind, but he feared there was nothing there for her to lose, she was already being a burden, being injured and whatnot, he knew it had not healed fully. So he continued walking on in silence.

ll sorry; i was shopping online cuz my friend needs to spend 500$ xP yesh, so, i'm back and sorry again. ll
"Oyasumi nasai," Koichi said to her softly, watching the two as they got comfortable. He looked at the fire, watching it flickering and listening to its crackles; it seemed to be the only sound in the darkening night. He sighed, leaning over. Within a moment, he had kissed Kana gently on the forehead, and then did the same to the Kitty she was protecting; he hoped she didn't smack him, thinking he was something trying to get the Kitten. That'd be bad. He then layed his head down, letting his eyes gaze at the stars before slowly closing.

Kira frowned lightly, but continued trailing along behind him. That simply 'whatever' reply he kept giving was kind of irritating though, but she guessed she could deal with it. She just wished he'd at least try to deal with her. She didn't really think he was giving her much of a chance, despite his saying he was. To her, a chance would be talking with her, and actually trying to have at least an ounce of fun. He didn't seem to know what fun was, however.
She sighed, hanging her head lightly, arms falling back by her sides. She pulled out the mp3 player and began scrolling through, finally settling on a J-rock band called Naitomea. She started it up, adjusted the headphones over her human ears, and placed it back in her pocket. The cat ears were perked, tilting forward in his direction. "...thought of what you wanna do?" she asked, almost tentatively. Don't yell, please don't yell.. she mentally pleaded.

Kana was sound asleep within seconds, definitey by the time Koichi had leaned over her and the kitten. She just shifted slightly, ears twitching and her cheek nuzzled against the blanket she was lying upon. Her breathing was steady, and she was still gently holding the kitten to herself. The only movement she made was the occasional flick of her tail or ears.

Koichi yawned as he pushed himself up, sheilding his eyes sligtly as the sun was shinning in them almost exactly; it was only sunrise, but he'd been sleeping on his stomach, and the rock wasn't in the way of the sun as it was for Kana. He sat up, rubbing a hand on his hair as though to make it a little neater -which suprisingly it did- before rubbing his eyes gently for a moment. "Hey..." he mumbled, looking down at Kana and the Kitten; they looked... rather peacful.

[It's fine! I was doing art homework.]
Kana didn't stir. She was still curled up in a little ball on her side, though she wasn't cold, with the kitten nestled against her stomach. Her tail had curled itself around one of her legs, just spiraling down it, and her ears had flattened back during the night. But when Koichi spoke, they twitched and perked again, and shortly after Kana peeked one eye open. She stared up at Koichi and then turned her face so it was pressed against the blanket. The neko still was not at all a morning person.

ll last post here; shower time. i'll be back right after [half an hour or so] i was reading romeo&juliet for english xD ll
Koichi sighed; he didn't have to wake her up, did he? He could, after all, think of many things that could make her fluster once she realized; although the only actual one he could think of was poking her, assuming she was ticklish. "Wake up, cutie," he whispered into her ear, wondering if that'd work. He had to clench his fist, grabbing up some blanket with sand underneith it, to stop him from laughing.

Kana just lay there, not moving as she hid her face completely. Her ear twitched though, when he set his face to it, and again when he spoke. There was a moment's pause, during which Kana's sleepy mind was registering what he said. Then her head suddenly jerked up, and she turned to stare at him, her eyes wide and her face already a brilliant red. "C-c-cutie?" she stammered, stutter even worse than usual because she was still half asleep. Well, it'd certainly gotten her to wake up.

Koichi fell down, no longer able to hold it in. He started laughing, tears falling from his eyes. After a few moments, he wiped them away and nodded. "Well, you are a cutie," he stated, shrugging. "And it got you to wake up," he grinned. "So, either way, I spoke my mind and i'm not ashamed of it!" he claimed proudly.

Kana pouted sleepily at him, sitting up slowly as to not disturb the kitten, and rubbing at her eyes. "That wasn't funny..." she complained over his laughter, hands moving from her eyes to instead cover a yawn. Then they dropped into her lap as she glanced to the kitten, then frowned towards Koichi. However, the frown didn't last long, and soon slipped into an embarrassed, weak smile as she began pawing lightly at her reddened cheek.

Koichi just placed a hand gently on Kana's head, smiling weakly- or rather seeming appologetic. "I'm sorry," he said softly, "I guess it was alittle mean. If you want, you can get revenge," he sighed, bracing himself for a slap or something. He then looked down at Kitty, though, wondering if, instead, she'd launch herself onto him and start scratching for upsetting her Onee-chan.[sp? oni? onee? which one >> ]

Kana stared at him for a moment, looking almost curious. It was a complement, wasn't it? She just wasn't used to it so she'd overreacted. But that was not justification for getting revenge, was it? For a second longer she stared, and then suddenly swung her open palm towards his cheek. However, at the last second, it stopped, and simply brushed against it lightly before dropping back into her lap. "That's not something I'd need to take revenge for," she grinned, her face still very red, and even moreso because of the fake slap she just did.

Koichi let out a sigh of releif; he had been really afraid she was going to slap him. "I.. see?" he said softly, slightly confused. All the same, he rubbed his cheek as though he'd really been slapped. "You know, you can fake things really well," he stated, refering to the slap. Kitty mewed from Kana's lap, slightly lost, though she didn't question what was going on. Instead, she seemed to be wanting to know why she had been woken up.
