Alonya weaved her way through the mass of Garou at the bar, making her way towards the exit. As she pushed herself past a drunken Garou man in Glabro form, she saw Laughs-At-Death coming up the stairs. She pushed her way past some more Garou, until she was next to him.
"Hey...Laughs-At-Death, right? Whats up?"

Alonya's sudden appearance startled Laughs-At-Death, but he didn't let it show.
"Just finished being chewed out by one of the guardians, how about you?"

"What the hell did he do to piss off the gaurdians?" Alonya thought to herself. "They shouldn't get pissed off at him unless he did something to endanger the Caern.......Well, he is a Nuwisha, might have something to do with that. No need to freak, he is out walking about, so it must not have been to bad.....yeah....Can't hurt to ask though..."
"That sucks. What did you do?"

"She doesn't know? Well at least that means that nothing huge has arisen because of it all. I guess that is a point in my favor, but should I make what happened known if the sept hasn't said anything yet?" Laughs-At-Death thought "Well I did trust the pack with my nature so I guess it can't hurt."
"Long story short I followed part of a pack of leaches by accident, got in a fight with them, witnessed a Garou's first change and brought him back here. The fact that he was covered in blood attracted attention." Laughs-At-Death said stopping there not wanting to offend Alonya by making caustic remarks about the sept. "That reminds me, you don't have to, but I would recommend using my human birth name, Cyth Rakoth, while around Garou who aren't in the pack. It makes fitting in with Garou much easier."

Alonya could see why he would piss off the gaurdians, the sept was not fond of brining attention to itself, and Laughs-At-Death, or Cyth as he wanted to be called now, had done just that. Not a good idea.
"Right, I'll call you Cyth then. But that sucks for you. Well, anyhow, I'm gonna try and get some rest before we meet back up. See you in a couple hours."
With that, Alonya began weaving her way out of the bar and down to her room.

"Alright" Laughs-At-Death called as she left. He would have liked to do the same, but seeing as how the Garou who owned the room had returned all he could do was find an empty table somewhat away from the mass of drunken Garou, sit down, and rest. It wasn't very comfortable, but it would have to do.

Haru slowly sat up, his head throbbing. It took his eyes a few moments to adjust to the lightness of the room and when they did he got up and tried the door only to find it locked. So Haru just sat on the mattress with his eyes closed while he chewed over what had just happened.

Runs-With-Spirits unlocked the door and entered the room silently. He waited a few moments before addressing the cub. "So you're the cub who just had his first change." Runs-With-Spirits said not sure if the cub had realized he had entered the room. "Well we've got a lot of things to cover and the day isn't getting any longer so I suggest that we get going."

"Look there is no reason for you to get angry with me. I am here to answer all your questions, but you are going to have to follow me because I don't want to stay here any longer than needed." Runs-With-Spirits left the room and headed towards the front doors of the hotel at a fast stride.

The man had a point and Haru did want to get his questions answered. Haru left the room and had to jog to keep up with the man. "So where are we going then?"

Runs-With-Spirits lead the cub out of the city and into the desert. He stopped and turned to the cub who had kept up well. "Alright now seeing as how it is late we are going to cover how to change forms first then either the history of the Silent Strider Garou or the Shadow. Which one would you like to learn first?"

"Well I'm not sure exactly what either.......wait Garou where have I heard that before? Garou, Garou...... Wait Garou as in shape changers, werewolves? But they aren't real, are they?" Haru asked surprised that the stories his grandmother told him and his sister had any relevance to the real world.

"Wow ok now you lost me, back up. You already know about the Garou?! How?" Runs-With-Spirits asked flabbergasted that a cub would already know about the Garou, especially a homid Garou.

"So they are real. I always thought that my grandmother made them up." Haru rapidly flipped through his memory of all the stories his grandmother had told him. "Hmmmm so I'm a Garou, wait she also gave me this supposedly on the day of my birth, does it mean anything?" Haru took off his necklace and handed it to the man who he now assumed to also be a Garou.
