Magdalena smiled at Shelden and prepared herself for putting everything in. She washed her hands of potato and carrot gunk, drying them on her robe. "Sounds good, let's get started." She said, before Envy walked in.
She looked the woman over, remembering her from the fight. She at least had tried to bring reason in, and Magdalena could respect that. Her smile had dimmed with a stranger's presence, however. Normal for Magdalena.
"Ask the chef." She said, motioning to Shelden. "He's the expert. I myself don't mind. Whatever he wants." Magdalena shrugged and looked at the boiling water.

Shelden blinked and looked up at Envy, a slight look of disapproval and disturbe at the sight of the rabbit. He blinked and looked at Magdalena before looking back at Envy.
"Er... no thanks. This recipe calls for no meat, wouldn't want to mess anything up after all," he said, following suit of Magdalena and washing his own hands as well.
He walked back over, picking up as much of the copped veggies as he could, a grin crossing his face as he glanced at Magdalena.
"Alright then, into the boiling water with it all!" He chimed, walking over and beginning to dump the stuff in.

Magdalena paid no never-mind to the rabbit. She'd eaten them raw as an owl. Actually, it made her hungrier. She made a small laugh of it. Magdalena nodded and followed Shelden, dumping everything she had chopped up into the pot.
"So how long until it's done?" She asked curiously to the elf chef.

Shelden dropped in the last bit of his vegetables into the pot, swipping his hands together before turning back and fetching the spices and herbs.
"Not to long... a few minutes tops, seeing as the water is already boiling nicely." He said, carefully adding dashes of one spice and another, nodding when he felt it was just right. He threw in a few herb leaves as well, finding a spoon and stirring it all together nicely.
"Mmm...smells good doesn't it?" He asked, the aroma from the soup wafting into the air nicely, the smell drifting to any part of the inn it could manage to get through.

Sora dreamt on, cringing as his mind raced from the battles that had taken place that day. Water into ice, ice into water, Life, Death, cold and still, flowing and warm.
In a flash of light the water bender seemed to be in a lake, his eyes drifting open to see his great grandmother, her hair flowing as if she were in water.
"Some things come in time..."
Her words were soft, as he reached a hand from the water to grab hold of the one who'd raised him.
"Nana...no...it's too cold! It'll get me like it go mama!"
With a small gentle smile, the elder water bender lifted the lake, and with a soft blow sent the younger water bender in a flurry of snow into the darkness.
"Water can always find light in darkness, it'll always keep you safe, even if you don't feel it...."

"It does indeed." Magdalena replied. She walked to the cupboard and got out some bowls and spoons, and some plates as well. She took out four of each in case anyone else wandered in and might have liked some. Placing them in neat order on the table, she took a seat and waited for it to be done, absent mindedly picking at some grapes and eating them slowly. Her mind seemed to be elsewhere, as one could see the distance in her eyes.

Shelden continued to stir the soup, taste testing it every once and a while before adding a dash more of certain seasonings. After a few minutes and one final taste test, he grinned proudly.
"All ready! And fine tasting, if I don't say so myself," he replied, dampening the flames slightly so he could lift the pot off. He set a cloth down on the table, placing the pot on top of it. Grabbing one of the bowls Magdalen had set out, he served himself, filling it to the near brim before gently setting it down at his seating place. He took a deep breath, a sigh escaping at the pleasant aroma.
"Man, I'm hungry!" He said taking Magdalena's bowl and filling it about a little more than halfways. He set it back down in front of her, blinking and looking at her curiously.
"You okay there?" He asked, his head titling in curiousity as he set the ladel on the counter. He grabbed the pot, placing it back in the heating place. He stabbed the debris a bit, the flames still going lightly to keep the soup warm. He nodded once, heading back to the table and taking a seat. He grinned snatching up his spoon and giving a sort of toast gesture to Magdalena.
"Let's eat!"

Magdalena hadn't heard Shelden really, and hadn't noticed the bowl in front of her until the aroma and warmth from it reached her. Snapping out of her daze, she blinked at Shelden and took in what he was doing just then.
"Ah, yes. Let's!" She agreed, giving the same toasting gesture to him. She drank from her cup and then started at her soup. She smiled.
"This is good, Shelden. You elves really know what you're doing in the kitchen, don't you." She said to the boy. Her face was kind, but it also seemed somewhat lost...sad maybe.

Shelden grinned at the compliment, scooping several spoonfuls of soup into his own mouth before responding back.
"Well I can't disgrace my people in ALL aspects. I still have some good elven traits!" He replied, scooping some more soup into his mouth and finishing it off, quickly making for a second bowl. He caught sight of Magdalena and blinked, an eyebrow tilting upwards curiously.
"Everything alright?" He asked, noticing the distant look in her eyes. To him, she didn't seem sad, though he could certainly tell something was up a little bit. He set his bowl back down, taking his spoon and sipping up some more of the delightful brew in more polite mannered way.

Magdalena nodded to Shelden and finished her bowl, taking it and politely downing what remained inside before setting it back on the table. She stood and walked over to the sink with her dirty dishes.
"I'm fine." She said plainly to Shelden. She turned and leaned against the sink, thinking some more of different things. "Do you think we should play around with our friend, Sora?" She asked him, intregue over her features.

Shelden blinked, finishing off his third bowl and maked to get for his fourth. He raised an eyebrow at Magdalena said, a slight frown crossing before a wide grin replaced it with excitement.
"Yes! That's a grand idea! Let's go do that! In fact, let's bring him some soup to 'enjoy' or something," he said with a grin, his eyes flickering a moment with intent. He fetched hist fourth and final bowl of soup, setting it down for when he'd return. He took one of the other vacant bowls from the table, looking it over a moment in thought.

Envy didn't mind the rabbit being turned down, and she didn't care much either. She simply shrugged and gave an understanding nod to the elvin young man. She didn't actually life meat all that much but it worked when you couldn't find anything else. So she simply finished cleaning the rabbit then went to cook it over the fire. She Smiled as she listened to the other two talk but didn't actually pay too much attention to the conversation.
Once the rabbit was done she began to delicatly eat it and think of her plans. She still didn't know how the creeps was spread, or if anyone had found a way to stop it. All she knew was that no speces was safe from it. She sighed and pushed the rabbit away. Best to start looking again tomorrow after a bit of rest. She thought.

Tossing and turning once more, the infected faces of his parents reaching towards him, he shot up from bed, shouting rather loudly, as he'd some how bent the water in the air into three large ice shards, each one now lodged into the door.
Gasping he looked around, his body still sore from the day's events, he licked his dry lips and looked about for his pack, blinking as it was no where to be found in his room.
Sighing he stood, gritting his teeth together as a dull pain wracked through his body. He wouldn't be able to fight completely for at least a few days, he didn't find a massive supply of water, good water, pure water. The odds of that however, were very slim.
Groaning he slowly made his way down the stairs, grinning to himself as he kneeled down to his pack, and began to remove a few herbs, here and there, blinking as he now needed some water to mix his little 'potion'. Sighing he pulled the herbs he'd need and slowly made his way to the kitchen.

Shelden blinked, perking up as his ears twitched a bit.
"Something evil comes this way..." He said, a frown crossing his face as he set the empty bowl down on the table.
"Darn he's awake... so much for those hopes..." He said with a sigh, glancing at Magdalena and giving a "anything else" question look before proceeding the eat his fourth bowl ouf soup, for once taking his time while eating. He glanced at Envy, an eyebrow cocking up before he looked back at Magdalena.
"Do you think there's some dessert around here? I could really go for some sweet bread or something..." He said. He let his spoon rest in the still half-full bowl, taking a sip of the tea he'd made and enjoying the warm feeling it provided.

Sora's eyes narrowed a bit as he walked as fast as he could to the kitchen. Forcing himself to ignore the elf and shapeshifter, growling as he began to wince as he did so. Sighing as he made it into the kitchen he looked about a few times finding an empty pot, he filled it with water, and began to drop a few herbs in, the water's color changing as he began to stir it, his powers making it even blended as he waited the color shifting from clear, to green, to red, to blue.
