Janus smirked at her, and shook his head lightly.
"just because I call you a smartass when you are being one doens't mean I don't know what a gentleman is, or that I might not even be one. besides, I doubt you prefer gentlemen with all thier posturing nad stanfing around on ceremony."
Teh continued to walk, day turning slowly toward and into evening, and he watched her get a bit more fidgety.
"So, you going to invite me to your home for tea and cakes or something? or should I bring my own supplies?"
A chuckle was given, as he kept in stride with her, idly whistlign 'time is on my side' while watching the sky darken, and watching her with one eye for one of those nymph vanishing acts.

She glared at him for a minute, he was a god thought. What did she expect. "Arrogant, good for nothing deities..." she muttered under her breath. How was she going to get rid of him? There was no way in hell she was going to let him know where she lived. She was getting desperate as they got nearer and she watched evening settle over them. Her eyes darted to him and in an instant she had vines around his head, obscuring his vision then she herself took off. Nymphs had teh wonderful ability to run very fast and she made it to her 'glen' in record time, then went about disguising it quickly. she cursed as it took a long time to do so but when she was finished it just looked like an ordinary cave. It wasn't a cave at all but no one needed ot know that. Caves were scattered all throughout so it was perfect. She stood there in her home and wondered briefly what it would have been like if she had let him follow her. Then she shook her head removed her cloak and curled up in the flower that served as her bed and fell fast asleep.

((Welcome to it.))
Ecara stepped from then tavern with a sigh. No Tyler, and he hadn't been back since the day before. She rubbed her arm as if in comfort to herself before she tugged on an ear in old habit. Wait, why was she worrying, he could take care of himself. He'd be fine. And she was busy trying to convince herself of that as she took to wandering Fe'Laar, doing even a little shopping.

He spent the rest of the evening muttering every single curse related to nymphs he ever heard, working his way back to Fe'Laar and untangling those blasted, rotten, good for nothing vines off his head...and saw Ecara enjoying some shopping, and after tossing the last of those vines and the ground and stomping on it, moved over to her.
"Tyler come back yet?"
Unless he was finding out something very good..Janus figured he'd be back by now. either becuase of Ecara, or because he wouldn't want to spend a minute longer than he had to there.

Turning to Janus her hands clasped behind her back and she toed the ground with her boot, but forced her ears to remain neatral. "Hello Janus. No, he hasn't been back yet." Looking up to him, seh gave him a smile. "But I'm not going to worry, Tyler can take care of himself." A nod before she looked back to her shopping then that didn't alst long. "I mean he is human after all, and Ko'Naar is for humans. They wouldn't bother him, right?"

The petals of the flower slowly opened and and Larissa shook her head and stretched. It was morning and she knew without moving that Janus had gotten the vines untangled and that he had stepped on them. Pity...she would have loved to become them and tease him some more. She bathed quickly in her pond then pulled on her dress and a shimmering purple cloak. She brushed out her hair and then set off for the tavern. She coudln't wait to see the look on Janus' face.

"Well that's true enough, they shouldn't really mess with him. might ask him a few questions about where he's from, but other than that, no big deal."
Unless Aiden really is being experimented on and that person finds him following, he added silently to himself. then there might be some trouble.
"How'd you do last night? make it home alright?"
He gave a slight grin, just making conversation to help the girl keep her mind off tyler.

She scratched at her ears. "Well I don't remember making it home, I fell asleep at Kelly's. But I woke up in my bed so I guess Kelly brought me home, safe and sound as you put it." But she looked slightly disturbed by it. "Good thing you bought me a drink, I think I needed it for my nerves or else I never would of stayed asleep." True, Ecara had trouble sleeping alone. She had always slept with somebody else there.

Tyler made his way slowly out of Sh'Kaar and on his way to Fe'Laar. He saw someone appear..almost out of thin air. Then he blinked thinking he had lost his mind and he realized it was Larissa.
Larissa saw Tyler a moment later and stopped, looking at him briefly. "You don't look so good Tyler. What happened?"
"I..I don't know." He blinked rapidly trying to regain some kind of memory but nothing came. He remembered a pain in his arm and then everything faded. What the hell had happened to him?
She checked him over for injuries and besides a few bruises on his arm found him to be just fine. He was a bit dirty though. "Would you like to clean up before rushing back home?"
He shook his head. He needed to get to Cara. She'd be so worried about him.
Larissa watched the thoughts cross his face and she bit back a smile. He was so far gone. "It will keep Ecara from worrying. If you show up looking like you do now, she'll only worry more about what happened to you."
He took a moment to think about this and then nodded ok.
She took him to a small pool she had found and handed him a towel to wash with then left him alone.
He finished up quickly and rejoined her then the two of htem made their way back into the town. Tyler hurried Fe'Laar and saw Janus standing there with Cara in the village streets and he immediately narrowed his eyes. He walked up and smiled at her. "Sorry it took me so long...I got waylaid."
Larissa walked up right behind him adn smiled all around. "Hello all. Pleasant night?"

"you kids these days."
He grinned lightly, and shook his head. she really had no clue. not the first hint. well it was amusing to watch it play out so he left it at that, and went about shopping with her, helping her get oranges and food and the like, and a few well placed words to get her some discounts on things she needed.
"why do you drink so much, anyway. you obviously don't hold your liqour all that well."

"I normally don't. My fathers didn't like it too much and my mother is Egyptian so she does drink a lot." A brief laugh. "He told her one time that she'd have to come up with occassions if she wanted to drink. She did too." But then her ears perked and she gave a look past Janus, Tyler was standing there. But with a tug to her ear she resisted the urge to pounce him. For one thing in public it often embarassed him. But he got a smile. "I'm glad you're back Ty. Did you have a good time?" Yes she was trying to play off the worry.

He heard Larissa's voice, and gave a look to Tyler, almsot a military like 'report soldier' look..before his eyes narrowed on Larissa with a smirk.
"Some better than others, apparently."
He crossed his arms for a moment, just looking at the two of them, and gave a little grin to Ecara.
"Isn't that right, Ecara? I beleive you had a rather pleasent evening, at least as much as you can remember."
He picked up an apple, and tossed it over to Tyler, and was tempted to pick up a whip, nad wrap it around larissa's head like those damned vines last night.

Tyler glared at Janus' comment. Ho would he know anything about Cara's night? And why didn't she remember the whole thing? Suddenly it hit him, he had come racing back home all worried about her because she had been sleeping alone...and she had obviously spent the night with Janus. Betrayal was the first thought that popped into his head and then he realized that he had no right to feel that way. After all he had no claim over her. She was free to spend the night with anyone she wanted to...even if it was and egotistical overbearing annoying god. But why did it hurt so much. She was smiling at him so he returned it and caught the apple that was thrown to him. "Yeah, I guess." Then he turned to Janus, his smile fading. "I followed Aiden to Ko'Naar and right before she entered the village, she just disappeared." It was almost the truth.
Larissa smirked and nodded. "I sense a very pleasurable night." Just to be perverse she said, "I met up with Tyler and we did some things." It wasn't far from the truth and if he wanted to play this jealousy game she could damn well give as good as she got. She tossed her head in her usual gesture and inwardly grinned. He was pissed all right.

"Yeah...sort of..."Ecara's ears gave her away some as they lowered the slightest bit. He practically ignored her and though he was acting neutral his eyes told her a different story. What was he upset about? Janus keeping her company this morning? Or had he already been to the tavern and Keligrin had told him of her drinking and half passing out. Then Larissa's words got to her, forcing her ears to succumb to gravity more. Her and Tyler? What had her and Tyler done together? It hurt to think about the possibility of those things. But all Ecara did was look at her boots and sigh. She did tell him to go off and do things on his own without her, she had to be accepting of him doing so.

"Don't jump to conclusions, boy. I didn't mean sleeping with me. Last I saw her she was sending letters to home, and she fell asleep apparently with the delivery boy. drank a bit too much again, I think."
He smirked at Larissa, crossing his arms, a lightly tapping his arm.
"Though according to our new friend, perhaps you were doing something of similar nature you assumed I was doing?"
A small smirk to the nymph, looks like her bluff was going to backfire, adn he was going to enjoy it.
