"But it is important..." Sighing, I look down away from him, my eyes barely register the Ramen. Hunger lingering in my stomach as it opening protests, I look at my hands slowly and uncertainly before looking back at Ishu.
It's not his fault. How do I explain to him that? How do I explain how I feel and why I said what I said? How do you explain to a child?
"I'm alright..." Searching for the words, I swallow my feelings down and try to put on the happy parsona again. Raising Ishu's face gently, stroking his cheek, I smile lightly.
"I can't eat alone. It's against my family's customs...share it with me?"
((yeah, stinks, but a lot has happened the past few days and basically boils down to Fred feeling like crap -_-))

He looked up at her as her hand softly ran along his cheek. It was almost as if somebody were trying to pry his heart out of his chest. Such a heavy heart that beat in his chest. He had been so inconsiderate for her and here she was, just as gentle and kind to him. Unable to look her in the eyes that had been oozing tears of blood moments before he got there. Still, even though he wasn't sure why they held a shade of crimson, they surely held the look of tears.
"I...will eat." he managed to force from his lips, "...but why do you want to eat with me? Didn't I..." he shrunk into himself a little, "hurt you?" he asked after mustering a bit more courage. Grinding his teeth a little as he feared the affirmative answer he was sure to receive. Of course he had hurt her, Yitnoru said so, and not it looked as though she had been crying. What had he done?
"I'm sorry." he said again kneeling quite unceremoniously with a slight thud as his knees hit the ground. Throwing his arms around her, he hugged her in his plee for forgiveness.

My eyes growing wide, surprised as Ishu locks his arms around me, it takes a moment for me to look pass the pain jolting through my body again. Slowly raising my arms around his thin body, I hug him to me and hide my face against his shirt. Sighing softly, my hand slowly reaches up to stroke his hair reassuringly.
"It's not your fault. I was out of line...I shouldn't have said what I did...I just..."Sighing, I struggle to find words before squeezing him slightly. "I don't like others sad...I want to make others happy. To take pain away...I just...said the wrong things this time..."
Pulling him back slightly, I look into his eyes, smiling slightly. Stroking his cheek gently, my voice gains a bit more spirit to it.
"Guess Yitnoru is wearing off on me, huh?"

Feeling her tense up, he thought about letting go, but instead latched onto her tighter. He could tell by her voice that her words were some attempt, and more than likely a failure, at expressing what she was feeling and what she wanted to say. He was too far from himself to even bother with noticing if she were being sincere or not. As he let his grip on her lessen, he felt her soft skin along his cheek. He wanted to simple rubs against her hand. There was so much caring in the simple touch...
His eyes were closed as he let his body enjoy the simple pleasure. Yet, as she mentioned Yitnoru, his arm seemed to throb. So profound to him, he instinctively tried to hide it some fearing she might notice it. His arm might escape notice, but his obvious reaction would be hard to make up for. "Ahh... Where is he anyway?" he asked trynig his best to conceal the story he didn't want to have to lie about.
Smiling he sat down beside her, with his bandaged left arm away from her. "Maybe we should eat quickly before he shows back up." he proposed trying to change the subject slightly.

My eyes, falling to his arm, I sigh softly. The thought of his reaction and words seem to hit hard for him to even ponder where the wolf demon was. Pulling him back gently, I look into his eyes, searching for an answer even before I ask the question.
"What happened Ishu?" Sighing again, I touch his arm barely, examining the blood soaked bandage even as the fresh scent of blood hits my senses. Looking into his eyes hard, I focus on them.
"We are not eating till I know what happened. This is fresh...it's still bleeding..." My mind racing at all the possiblities: him being attacked my a person or creature, Yitnoru, falling...
"May...may I see it?"

He withdrew his arm even more, kind of ashamed. "Nothing much." he answered, trying to obviously avoid the subject. "Some beast, Yitnoru, but it's nothing. We should eat before it gets too cold." Looking into her eyes again, daringly. He shook his head slightly, "It's nothing to worry about... the ninja at the gates bandaged it. I'm ok." he said hoping that she would accept it.
HIs arm was still throbbing a bit, but it wasn't anything he couldn't ignore. Then again, it wasn't something he'd be able to forget for a while, if ever. Yitnoru had a damn good grip on his arm, and had lifted him off the ground by it.
"Please...don't worry about it." he pleaded with her once more.

Narrowing my eyes, my expression goes blank as I look directly into Ishu's eyes. Gripping the lower part of his arm, away from the bite, tightly, I force him to stay still. Shaking my head quickly, I catch a kunai as it falls from under my bandana and quickly slice open the bandage skillfully. Reaching under my sash around my waist, I pull out my water container and dump a small bit on Ishu's arm, washing some of the blood away to examine it closer.
"These are teeth marks, Ishu. Big teeth marks. Nothing that something common to these woods should be able to do..." Narrowing my eyes into thin slits, my mind goes onto how Yitnoru was involved and a surge of anger floods through my body.
"Tentou Suki..." My hands moving at blinding speed, my eyes turn black slowly as I press my hands tightly against Ishu's arm. Feeling the wounds start to close, I hope my practice on animals when I was younger helped in the fact to hopefully fix any muscle damage that may have been caused. Still, not letting go or looking at Ishu to avoid him seeing my eyes, my voice becomes monotone.
"Tell me what happened now. Do not lie to me, or I will take you out myself without Yitnoru's help..."
((Okay it is a hollow threat as Kumi IS gentle, but still!))

He was caught off guard, and a slightly horrified. She was going to cut his arm from wrist to shoulder for lieing to her! He knew it, but instead found the bandages falling away. The container, he wasn't sure what to expect, but as the water on his forearm he jumped. More out of anticipation of pain than any additional pain.
She started doing something else, it was all seemingly without much thought and so percise. In a way, it felt familiar, but at the same time it scared him. He wanted to pull away, but he did everything against those protective urges and stayed put. She was serious... and his wounds... were healing? The pain was lessening and the holes and marks that Yitnoru had made were getting smaller steadily.
It was purely mesmorizing. He'd have to ask her how to do that later, if he lived that long. She wanted to know what had happened and he looked away slightly. "There were some beast, Yitnoru and some fighting, nothing too much. Yitnoru and me are fine." he said nodding, trying not to cause her any more pain by ratting on Yitnoru.

Opening my eyes wider, my hands still holding onto his arm tightly to force the healing process to work. Turning slowly, I stare into his eyes unblinking, only solid black remaining in them. Breathing very slowly, I search in his eyes, looking for an answer and hoping to terrify the hell out of him.
"Tell me now...or neither of you two will be fine." My voice, dropping to a whisper, I blink slowly as my eyes return back to normal. Letting go of his arm, I start to breath faster to catch up for the lack of oxygen before. Pulling my knees up to my chest again, I hug them loosely well remaining serious.
"Ishu, I can tell you are lying. It is a woman thing. You are not telling me everything and, unless you want me to reverse what I just did, you will tell me. Remember, I can make your arm fall off by making the shadows seep into the smallest hole and expand..."

He wanted to pull his arm away, but after hearing the threat he knew that wasn't even an option. Instead he gave up, falling into her, hugging her with his other arm. His eyes were shut as he had failed and knew he was going to end up hurting her again. Why did he have to hurt her? Why would she force him to do this?
"Yitnoru bit me because I hurt you, because I made you cry." He said finally to her ear as he hugged her. "We decided to not tell you because neither of us wanted ot hurt you any more." his voice much more defeated and saddened. He feared that her tears would moisten her cheeks and that she would be hurt again. He didn't want that, she had been so kind and so caring to him and for him and here he was hurting her again.
"Please... I didn't want to hurt you." he said again quietly, almost a whisper as his eyes saw nothing but darkness. With his eyelids shut and his tearducts running, her shoulder was soon moist with tears. "I'm sorry." he said again, meaning more than anything else.

Shocked and startled by his words and actions, I sigh and hug him close again. Slowly stroking his back, trying to reasurre him, I sigh softly. Mentally cursing Yitnoru out, I silently plan my revenge on the flea bitten mutt.
"Hush, Ishu. You didn't do anything wrong. Yitnoru is just...overly protective. He was in the wrong; not you. So don't worry." My voice soft, I hold Ishu slightly closer to me, more protective.
"I promise you, if the mutt hurts you again, he won't have any teeth left in his jaws to even eat ramen, ok?" Kissing the side of his head softly, almost motherly, I smile very slightly, an idea playing in my mind.
"How about we forget this, eat, and then go kick Yitnoru's butt? Sound like fun?"

He could feel her embrace of him, and her calming hand. So... she wasn't going to rip him to pieces in sadness? Yitnoru wasn't going to rip him to shreds?... well that one was yet to be proven. How could she say that he didn't do anything wrong though. He had left, she started to cry, what else was there?
Despite what she said, he couldn't help the pangs of guilt that ran along his spine and cut into his stomach. Quietly, he spoke to her ear, "No." Shaking his head a she pulled away a bit to look at her through his teary eyes. "Don't hurt him... It's alright... let's just eat and go check and see if the Kage is back yet." he suggested.
Wiping his eyes with his newly healed forearm without thinking. Wincing a bit, the sensative nerves screamed into his head. Still he looked from his arm back to Kumi and did his best to smile. Not just for her, but for him as well. Still it felt strange and almost out of place.

Leina watched behind to make sure Rei and Temaki were behind. Yes they were. Temaki quiet and determined to get to the village and Rei as showing he was strong to make it back with the large sword of the person he fought with. She shook her head lightly, he was a bit like her, except the difference he was given a mission and to kill whoever stood in his way, she was forced and felt like killing her father for his betrayal, and she kept his katana for her own.
Shrugging and noticing the Storm Village towers not far away she felt relieved, the walk from the Tezema village all the way back here felt long. She was tired, and once she got into the village, she would tell Temaki to go to Nayami's house or whatever he wanted to do while she went to the Shrine to rest and let Rei do whatever he pleased. Sighing as she noticed the male jounin that kept on appearing in front of her lately, she looked up at him. "What?" she remarked a bit tiredly and rudely. "I gave the young boy your message....." the boy replied now a bit timidly losing his confidence.
"Good.....Nothing bad happen while we were away right?" she asked removing her pack. "No.....Is he allowed to enter?" the boy nodded towards Temaki. "He's with me right? What do you think?" Leina remarked cooly and the boy just stepped back and nodded upwards letting the other ninja's open the gate. "Well....We're back home....." she sighed happily passing through the gates. "If you want Temaki, you may go to Nayami's home and wait there for her to return, or you may look around, make sure not to do anything rash, I wont be the one aiming for your neck, it will be Hageshii......Here.." she took out a card, much like the one she gave to Kumi and Ishu when they wanted to go back outside and back in. "This will let you browse around the village. If another ninja stops you, just show it to them and they'll leave you alone......"
Leina cracked her neck lightly and looked at both Rei and Temaki again. "I'll be heading to the Shrine. If any of you need anything, look for me over there. Just follow the signs." she said the last part to Temaki, knowing Rei knew very well where the Shrine was. She then turned and began walking to her destination. She would go look for Kumi and Ishu after she recovered

Rei smiled and nodded to Leina, immediately heading toward the Grotto, or how long he was likely to be there until he could at least drag himself home. He hoped she didn't realize where he was headed since it was never something he wanted a comrade to know. Especially if it was a medic like Leina. For one, she was always willing and usually able to help with something and he seemed to always hate lying to her anyway.
"I'll find you if I need to, Leina-san." He remarked with a slight wave, still carrying the sword on his shoulder instead of using it for support like he should have been.

(This will be the color for Temaki Post)
A long walk would have been an understatement, but somehow he managed to keep his mouth shut and not complain. After all, it was probably for the best. He didn't need to be so emotional and full of anger when he got to the Strom Village. Along the walk, he had managed to calm down enough to sheath his sword and rebelt it.
He wasn't sure what to expect when they actually arrived, but he was ready for it. It wasn't as though he would decide to just go home once he saw the gates or something. No, at the very least, he needed to see Nayami and thank her. But, now that he was free, he intended to do more than that. Maybe he'd be able to make her happy the way he never could all those years ago.
He was too absorbed in his own mental dialogue to catch most of the conversation between the medical nin, Leina he thought her name was. Whatever it was, he knew that they were allowed in now. She handed him a black card with markings on it that he didn't care about. Stashing away on his person he listened to what she had to say since it was actually aimed at him.
Nayami's house...it was as good a place as any to start. "Leina...thank you..." he got out as she was walking away. It seemed that both her and the guy, who had taken Zelix's stone blade as her own, were all to eager to get back to their own familiar surroundings. Sighing, he knew that this would be one of the more challenging parts. Actually finding Nayami in her own village.
Walking off, he figured taht he'd find a sign or something that would point him in the right direction eventually. He just hoped that she would be there. As he walked, he could feel something in the air change. It was rolling in, almost as if it belonged all the while. Looking around, he didn't notice a difference; then he looked up. Storm clouds. He laughed to himself as it made sense, it wouldn't be called 'Storm' village for nothing.
But the clouds weren't happy in the least, they screamed thunder and lightening with their dark complexion. The seemed to threaten to flood the very village, but he was sure they were used to it by now. Shaking his head, he got back to his search.
