"...So give the kid a chance, okay?"

Jin nodded obediently after the elder scolded him.

"You're a powerful kid Jin, but you don't have the potential like Matt. And you're too stoic sometimes. I mean, don't be a whiner like Matt, but there are times when you should really speak up. Otherwise, get over this power struggle.

Jin nodded a bit more, although unattentively.

"Alright, I think it's about time they finished posting the papers all over the city. It's time to make the announcement.

Upon that, the elder rose from the comfy red couch and walked off to the glass doors of the white capital building. Jin decided to continue lounging in the lobby of the capital building. When the elder went outside, a large crowd was already forming outside of the Venus Lighthouse. Several guards saw the elder and immediately went to him in order to escort him through the heavy crowd towards the Venus Lighthouse. After what seemed to be hours, they made it to the entrance of the Venus Lighthouse. The elder and his guards went into the lighthouse and ascended the stairs to the balcony of the lighthouse. From there, the view from above revealed most of the Venus Headquarters, and the massive roaring crowd that formed below. The elder shook the vicinity. Small enough to cause no damage, but large enough to silence the population.

"My fellow kinsmen. By now, you may've known that we were attacked five years ago by a strange army of shadow demons. By now, you may've known that we were forced to evacuate the Venus Lighthouse five years ago because we couldn't hold off the immortal army. By now, you may've known that Spectrum turned out missing, and has not returned since this day. By now, you may've known that Master Strider had recently went over to Prox in order to negotiate with their clan concerning matters of the great war. By now, you may've known that Master Strider returned, broken, but still alive from the dangerous negotiation. By now, some of you may've known that we're preparing for war. Let me say that this war is caused by the treachery of the Mars Clan and their machievallien ways. It is about time that we take revenge upon the Mars Clan for attacking us in such a degrading way five years ago. Right now, the Venus Clan has been stronger than it had ever been before. More prepared than ever before, greater than ever before, and if we are to claim vengeance upon the fallen those years ago, now is the time. The Venus Clan will wage war against the Mars Clan for the sake of peace of Weyard. And we shall not rest until the tyrant, Kinshou, is dead. For the Venus Clan! For Weyard!"

While the audience stayed relatively quiet for the most part, it was the conclusion when opinions were expressed by the population. While the majority of the population cheered for the promise of fighting, a minority, but still a significant number, booed at the idea. But the elder wasn't there to listen to the public's ideas. By the time he finished his final line, he retreated back into the tower and went back downstairs to exit the lighthouse. Fighting his way across the crowd, who all held out their hands in attempt to shake hands with the elder. However, the elder hurried back to the capital building while the guards cleared out a pathway in the sea of people. The elder was relieved to return back to the peace and quiet in the lobby of the capital building. Not surprisingly, Jin was still hanging out in the lobby. Jin then spoke without turning around.

"Inspirational. Do you really think Matt is right about the Mars Clan and Kassion?

The elder scoffed at the notion.

"The current state of Master Strider alone is proof enough, don't you think?

Jin turned around to face the elder, but still with his arm around the couch.

"Heh. Probably.

She blinked her eyes waking up. "What? What just happened?"

"I told you you only had 999 left, and I guess you were so happy, you passed out!" he smiled obliviously.

A small ball of purple energy appeared at the edge of the pool that Kassion and his students were enjoying themselves in. A small Jupiter Djinn came out of the ball of energy and shook its head before hitting the water by accident. A small blue ball of energy appeared near it and a Mercury Djinn appeared.

"Tornado, what are you doing? Playing in my domain?" The Mercury Djinn said as it plopped down on top of the water.

"No." The Jupiter Djinn shook water from itself and fluttered to the edge of the pool.

"He fell in, Everest." the voice of a young woman sounded as sparks of purple and green psynergy formed into the shape of a person. Solana appeared at the edge of the pool.

"And it seems he's not the only one. Solana winked at Kassion. She then scooped up her little Jupiter friend.

"You feel the future closing in on you, Kassion. I know you do. But I digress. Sorry that my little friends disturbed you three. They were side tracked by some strange force. I have only appeared to retrieve them. I know we will speak again in the very near future. Solana and her djinn disapeared in a small sparkle of Psynergy.

Yes, this is the second time I've seen you today. But I've also seen Venus and Mercury. I have seen a dark cloud approaching, not a metaphorical one, but a real one. Look from your Lighthouse Aerie. Goodbye.

Kassion was about to silently scold Maxwell for being so reckless, but he then noticed more djinn than just his own coming out to play.
As Kassion watched his djinn come out from hiding he also noticed that a few of them were not his own. They were splashing and pestering each other.
He then looked past them as a form materialized from thin air.
"He fell in, Everest." The woman was speaking to her Jupiter djinni, apparently named Tornado.
She pulled her djinni from the edge of the pool and then spoke to Kassion, "And it seems he's not the only one."
He caught the wink, and returned it with a light-hearted smile.

"You feel the future closing in on you, Kassion. I know you do. But I digress. Sorry that my little friends disturbed you three. They were side tracked by some strange force. I have only appeared to retrieve them. I know we will speak again in the very near future." Kassion then noticed how melodical and enchanting her voice was. She resembled Idele. The voice. The physical features. She had to be...

Solona. He came to realize this. He had vaugely heard of her and Idele's death, but never before had he seen her.

Yes, this is the second time I've seen you today. But I've also seen Venus and Mercury. I have seen a dark cloud approaching, not a metaphorical one, but a real one. Look from your Lighthouse Aerie. Goodbye.

He knew that she was in his head as he heard the voice. He looked at her and slowly nodded his approval. She may have come uninvited, but she was of no worry and more of a help.

I guess I can always count on the successor of Idele to follow in her footsteps. You are already well on your way to comparing to and even surpassing her. You will always be welcome here. Thank you.
She then, with her djinni in her hand, dissappeared in the same way that she had appeared.

Kassion looked back at Maxwell who sat across the pool to his right and then over to Trinity at his left. Neither of them knew what had just transpired.

Pulling the traveling cloak a little more snugly over her slightly dusty and fades boy's traveling clothes, Allana approaches yet another city. So far she has been traipsing across the country of Weyard for over three weeks attempting to find the elusive Mars Master her father wanted her to train under.
"The least father could have done was find the man's name out before he left me here to track him down." She mutters to herself before walking into the local tavern and taking a seat at the bar and placing her travel bag at her feet. After ordering a rum she sips it quietly, listening to the bustle and banter around her with half an ear while fending off the advances of an over interested barmaid who has obviously decided she likes the "cute boy" at the bar.
Abruptly Allana's attention is caught by a couple male patrons discussing the virtues of the female fire Adept who was dancing on stage not an hour ago. A female Adept who matches the description of one of the traveling companions of the Mars Master. Paying attention now, she finally hears the Master's name mentioned, a Master Kassion, also she hears that he left this tavern no more than a half hour ago. Paying her tab, she quickly gathers her things and proceeds to search the entire town for the Mars Master in question. Finally sitting down in front of a bath house and leaning back against the wall she closes her eyes and sighs in frustration.
"How can one person be so confounded hard to find..." Opening her eyes she watches the clouds gusting across the sky while trying to think what town she should try next.

"So, that's it, huh?"
Rika sighed. She had joined the crowd in front of the Venus Lighthouse, just out of curiosity on how the war would be announced, and how it would be recieved. She did not join in with the cheering or booing, not really knowing which she'd rather do. She couldn't tell just yet, weather this war was worth it or not, but that's because she didn't know all the politics and the like behind the last one. She'd only been a young girl, resorting to thivery to live.
Rika made her way through the crowd, wondering just where Matt was, and if he was still out of it. She walked slowly back to her room, passing the capital building, figuring that she might as well start planning.

Mortimer woked staring into Nami's eyes. "You sure do like to watch me sleep." She smiled and nodded. "We are outside the capital right now. The men are preparing to go to the farm and some are getting ready to go into town." He pushed him self off the bed looking around the room. Nami walked over to the door and turned around. "I heard you Master has a new student." He sighed. "He needs one. He was barly making it before I came. I dont know how he has been Master for so long." He sighed again and got out of the bed grabing his sword he walked out the tent, Nami hanging on his arm. He went over to were his men were standing talking about what they were going to do when they got into town. Some would go to the bar and drink the night away. Other would see the familys, then drink the night away. Mortimer went over to one of their trailers standing on it he rasied his voice. "Men! You have surved me well! This time we are not only going into a town to get a new target but also to have some fun!" they all yelled in respons, all the women hang their heads only thinking what these barbaric men would be doing. "So you all have the next two days off! Go have some fun." they all yelled again and started to walk in two diffrent directions. About a sixteenth of them went into the woods to hunt and the rest went into town. "Just make sure you all dont go into the same entrence at the same time!" He called after them. Some of the men waved their hand in respons saying they would. Mortimer turned to Nami. He jumped off the trailer and gave her a hand. "Ready?"

Hiro sighed,"What am I to do with you?" he woke her up again gently,"Look, I know it's hard, but I need you to be ready and able to defend yourself. Try doing 999 of THESE." he said. He stood and pointed at the targets,"ICE MISSILE!" he shouted. The huge missiles of ice, as it was so aptly named, blasted the targets to shreds. "And most Adepts you meet will be just barely less powerful. So you see, it's important for you to be ready to face the world."

She opened one eye slightly, it was a fake faint. "That looks harder then the other one but i will try." This time when she tried to do the attack it worked but it was really small.

"You don't have to do very big ones, just as long as you do it." he told her gently.
