[what happened to Jerund? did he drown in his eggs?]
Jenova's laughter was interrupted by a loud growling sound. It took her a moment to realize that it was her stomach doing the growling. "Ugghh.." she sank to her knees from the pain. "Need... food..." Jenova looked all around but there was nothing... "Except..." Jenova got up and headed back to the room she had awoken in. There was something edible in there... Jenova eyed the control panel with the dented sides hungrily... would she really be forced to pry it open and fest on its contents?

(( rofl Maybe! As for eating Nemes? I wouldn't eat him, even if I was starving to death. Eat Jerund instead!))
"Well... I'd like if you just stayed with me. I'm a little nervous, since they're bound to come and question me today - someone has probably noticed Nemes is late for his usual coming in and shouting at them, and reported it." Amaya said, sounding maybe just a little nervous. "Besides, I was told I might have to deal with Cloud today. Or maybe Sephiroth." She said. "Neither of them have awakened, and Sephiroth has been hidden recently. The other scientists have become... worried." She smirked when she mentioned Sephiroth was hidden, as though she knew someone. Jerund wandered down the halls, not paying attention to where he was going. "So... sleepy... and hungy..." He muttered. The eggs had vanished after he fell asleep again, outside of them this time. He wandered, not realising where he was, and opened a random door and walked in. The first thing that caught his attention was this was one of the rooms for the Ressurection project. Secondly, he noticed the blue... creature? It looked vaugely human. "W-what the hell....?" He stammered, his bright blue eyes wide in shock and fright.

Vincent nodded. "I'll make sure your fine. You can think of me as a body guard, hows that?" He asked. The last person he 'guarded' as a profession was Lucrecia... He had failed then, but he would not fail this time. "Perhaps if you told Cloud I was here, he would awake?" He asked, curiously.

Jenova spun around quickly. There was that SOLDIER from yesterday, staring at her intensely. Before he could turn and run she was right in front of him, one hand over his mouth, the other hand around his throat. "Don't...move."

"Yeah... if he dosen't try to stop my heart again, first, I'll tell him about you!" She said with an odd tone of mixed fear and sarcasam in her voice. She walked into the elevator, and punched the buttons to take them to the level she worked on. Jerund, for the first time in his life, let out a frightened squeak. It sounded like a dog's chew toy being stepped on. His firey red hair, so much like his ancestor, Reno's trademark red hair, fell over his frightened blue eyes. "I'm not ready to die yet! Have mercy..... Please, someone, anyone, don't let me die!" he pleaded silently in his head, feeling like he might have a heart attack if this strange person didn't kill him first.

Vincent nodded. "Ill make sure to stay near you... Although... Im not sure how to help you if he tries?" He said, ending the sentence, wondering if there was a way that he could help if Cloud tried to harm her. Why would Cloud do that?

"You'll know if I start dying. Just, whatever you do, please, don't let me die. I'm not ready yet...." She said. She sounded like she might actually be a little afraid. She stood there for a moment, the turned and hugged Vincent. "He scares me, Vincent. Cloud scares me. He screams at me that we've all forgotten his name, and that he'll make everyone sorry..." There was a sobbing tone in her voice, like she was crying.
((Shiori, Amauya and Vincent are still in the elevator. Jerund and Jenova are in the room Jenova killed Professor Nemes in.))

Vincent kept his clawed hand at his side and brought his human hand up, hugging her back. "I promise you wont die." He said quietly. "I dont know why... Why Cloud would be that way." He looked down at her, crimson eyes were pools of comfort. "Please... dont cry..." He said, voice barely a whisper as he brought his hand up to wipe away tears if she was crying.

Amaya had been crying. Slowly, though, she calmed herself, and let go of Vincent. "Thank you..." She muttered, sniffling. The elevator finally hit the 12th basement floor, and the doors slid open. Amaya walked out quickly, a little embarassed she'd hugged Vincent so suddenly, without warning.
