Marin kinda liked Cyric, he seemed...nice. She giggled a little then turned to sit at the bar counter. "Saro, may I have some water? I'm a bit tired, after that long trip here." Marin sighed then leaned her head an her hand. "I can continue to work though, if and when we get people."

"'course." she said as she poured a glass and set it in front of her. She glared at Cyric as he snickered then stopped, apparently having heard her thoughts, then heard whatever she thought after he laughed.

Marin drank it then couldn't help but look at Cyric, she sent a mesage to Saro asking how old he was, she was very careful to keep her mind concelead from others.

"Two years older." she said under her breath, then added, "Twenty" just as quietly, knowing the girl would be able to hear.
((ok, I'm adding this now for the sake of it. In this world, the drinking age is 18, not 21...))

She smiled. "Good luck with that." She turned to Cyric, who was feigning disintrest. "Go away, and stay out." she said with a smirk, and he sighed before going upstairs. "I mean it Cyric, I can tell ya know." she called after him, grinning at his reply, not making any sense to the others.

She grinned. "You do realize he doesn't take me seriously half the time, but I'll talk to him." she said. "What do you want me to say? The girl who was at the bar thinks your hot?" she asked with a shrug.

"Yeah, I know." Marin grinned but it quickly faded, "My older brother was like that. He dissapeared last year." Marin shook her head but perked up. "Tell him Marin thought he was kinda cute and would like to go out sometime. If he doesn't take you seriously," Marin paused, "I'll try."

Ikaran headed back down the stairs, having heard some voices he didn't recognize and curious as to who they were.
Besides, his glass was empty and he wondered if the tender could make any more. He walked down slowly and carefully, and then once he came to the stairs he turned toward a young girl that had now appeared. He smiled and said, "Hello, miss."

"Here, help yourself. You're staff, and a bartender at that." she said as she refilled the glass before coming around the bar. "I'll be back in a few minutes." she said before going upstairs.
She knocked on Cyric's door before going in and shutting the door behind her. "Hey." she said simply, sitting down in the chair, as he was on the bed with a book. "How much did you listen to?" she asked.
"None. Though now I'm curious." he said nonchalantly. "You know she likes you." she said softly.
He didn't say anything.
"She thinks your cute, which isn't new to you, but just talk to her, okay?"
"Fine, I will. But if this is another one of your jo-"
"It isn't. Would I have sent you up here if it was?"
He sighed, an indincation that she was right. "Fine, I'll talk to her." he repeated.
She moved over to him, glaring at him. "No you won't. And if you don't, you'll have to pay and I won't say it's to repay a debt." she said, and he sighed, nodded, and went back to the book. She smiled and hugged him, to which there was no response, before she sighed and left.
