Hey Katsuya4044, welome to Budehec. and uh sorry I haven't online in a while heh my account got de-activated after I changed my password and I never got a re-activation e-mail and I tried to sign on again today and it worked for some reason..odd lol but yeah the tournament looks pretty cool Keollyn good idea and Eternally if you're around our castle should think of something to have like I think one of the other castle's has art contests or an artist (I guess Michie's or maybe it's Brad's) but I dunno just a suggestion to keep this place going more rather than having times when nothing happens at all smile

Yeah, that's a pretty good idea. Glad I'm not the leader of the castle though, I'm terrible at thinking of ideas!!! I'm excited though, my scanner should get working soon!!!! blaugh blaugh

Well I think I'm going to open up something if I can get Eternally Lost's permission I was thinking of having like a recipe thing where it's called Mamie's Corner and once a week I would post a recipe from somewhere on the web giving credit to where I got it.

Okay, here is the first recipe. I'll post a few every Monday. If you want a recipe from a particular country (or region), or would like recipes featuring an ingredient, just tell me and I'll try my best.
Baked chicken purses
Ingredients:
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
4 gloves garlic, finely chopped
1 bird's eye chili, seeded and finely chopped
6 1/2 oz (200 g) ground or minced chicken
3 tablespoons Thai sweet chili sauce
2 teaspoons fish sauce
1 tablespoon fresh Thai basil
2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
salt and pepper to taste
5 scallions (shallots/spring onions)
5 sheets frozen ready-made puff pastry sheets, thawed
1 egg, beaten
Method:
Heat the oil in a wok(another pot or pan will do) over a medium heat and cook the garlic and chili for 1 minute, or until fragrant. Add the chicken and cook until opaque, about 3 minutes. Remove from heat. Stir in the chili sauce, fish sauce, basil, cilantro, salt, and pepper. If you want to, you can add the scallions, chopped, at this stage. If you prefer, you can leave them until the next stage, and use them to tie up the purses. Mix well, and let cool completely.
If you didn't add the scallions in before, cut each scallion into 4 pieces lengthwise. Put them ina bowl and add boiling water to cover. Let stand for 1 minute. Drain them, and rinse under cold water. Drain again.
Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line 2 baking trays with parchment paper. Cut the puff pastry into 20 rounds, and put 2-3 teaspoonfuls of filling into the center of each round. Brush the edges of each round with egg, and then fold the pastry over to form a semicercle. Press the edges down firmly. If you followed the directions in the second paragraph, tie a scallion length around each. Place on the prepared paper, and brush with beaten egg.
Bake until golden and crisp, about 12-15 minutes. Serve warm & enjoy.

Hey Welcome X, I hope you like Budehec Castle and that's great Katsuya I'm going to have to try that recipe it sounds really good! 3nodding Well I have to go to Kaleria to talk to a mercenary about a "deal" I am trying to work out so I might be gone a few days. I'm going to leave tomorrow morning though, get a fresh start since it's kinda far.
