XD My dad knows a guy who swears to god his daughter married Jim and that his death was faked. While very mysterious and hush-hush, I'm not so sure I buy that. I actually saw his grave in Paris. People had placed poetry, beer, and Star War figs all over it.

But, yes, it is a very good comparison. I happen to love Nirvana myself and got into it about 1 1/2, 2 years after Kurt died.

That's true about moving his grave. Because the cemetary that he's in has A LOT of other famous graves in it as well. The graveyard owners bought the rights to the bodies of two famous parisian lovers (Romeo and Juliet style) and buried them in the brand new graveyard because NO ONE was paying to be buried there, so they set up their graveyard as like a who's who of the dead.

also I watched a special on "Superfans" and there was this guy who was a metalworker and he made a bronze bust of Jim Morrison (The one that was on his grave has long been stolen) and he and his friend snuck into the graveyard and bolted it down to the stone and then toasted Jim with some shots in glasses they had made up with their names on them. The paris police caught them and GOT INTO AN ARGUEMENT because one of them wanted to let the guys go and the other wanted them to go to jail. They ended up in jail.

Didn't know if this one had been seen and comented on yet. Some of the things people come up with scare me.

I think Zazi's thread is meant to be taken as funny. He's probably doing it to start the Flame war that's going to break out once people who really feel strongly either way show up. It's a habit of ED regulars to do topics just like this. Either that or ones where they spell something like Canibalism as Cannonballism and talk about people being shot out of cannons but vaugely and then everyone goes off on a 300 post flame war/diatribe about how Canibalism is wrong/right when the first post was a joke anyway.

Just ignore that crap-thread. She's approx. 16 and has no life experience and knows about nothing that she speaks of. I made a response on page 27 though.

It's sad to see such nonsense. So many of today's youth value nothing of another human's life. They preach on and on how everything is so horrible and that death is the only way out. Get pregnant? Kill the baby you don't want. Have a rough life? Kill yourself. Don't like someone? Kill them too. It's just sad. So cynical and so naive.

It's bcome trendy (apparently) to take on such views as your own. Let's all jump on the Nihilistic bandwagon rolleyes . Whatever happened to taking ******** responsibility? Kids like this search for "the easy way out" of everything practically. My god... live a bit of your life FIRST before you come back to ME with your craptastic little bandwagon opinions. [/rant]

In short... I'm right there with ya, Yuna. My Grandmother was recently diagnosed with liver cancer. That woman raised me and consider her to be a mother to me. And to hear some little punk kid downplay human worth like that REALLY pisses me off. But I have to learn to ignore and laugh at the ignorance of others, lest I get all angsty.

xd I'm such a mean ol' lady. Odds are she has no job and mommy and daddy do everything for her and pay for it all. XP Thus, NOT contributing to society and by her logic, should die.

Once again, the discussion forums are the home of the pseudo-intellectia of Gaia who THINK their ideas are new and fresh and sadly, they are stale, trite and selfish. u__u Oh, to chop off their little fingers and to sew their mouths shut. But they do eventually grow up.....eventually.
