What the hell did I eat!? :::He stuffs a tortilla in his mouth and starts munching. He was dissatisfied with its affectiveness, and when he swallowed it, he motioned for a second:::

:::As far as he was concerned, he wouldn't mind never eating it again, but to be polite, he woudln't bring it up...he just went ahead and chomped away at the apple, inbetween gulps of water. Eventually his pace slowed, and it was obvious that he was finding a little more relief:::

What's milk? *sets the core of her apple to the side and thinks* Well, milk like we drink comes from cows, but... all female mammals can prduce it for their young. I think in most cases it's a white liquid.
I guess you don't have a lot of animals on a nearly dead planet. *She takes a drink from a bottle of water as she imagines the desert like condition of the future Earth.*

Oh, yeah, cows...Luke told me about those. You eat those don't you? And people drank their breast milk too... :::He wiggles a little at the weird thought:::

Hang on. I'll get some blankets out of the trunk. *She leaves K momentarily to retrieve the blankets. She hands him one, then settles back down with the other wrapped around herself.*
*Ignoring the rest of the remaining food, she reaches for the box labled "Thin Mints" and holds it in her hands in front of her. For a second time that night she silently bows her head for a brief moment. After all, don't desserts deserve a thankful prayer of their own? She opens the box, takes a couple out, then hands it to K.*
No animals, I promise. *grin*
