Lyll stepped forwards, seemingly having something to say. "We must try to reach a safe place by this evening," He announced, "Which is why we head for my home," His eyes fell on his new companions. "Logan, Hiren, you're in charge of food and water supplies, You there, gunner." He pointed at Aingeal, "You're our hunter, the rest of you are guards."
Hiren - who hadn't chosen to join the military school - certainly didn't look glad at being bossed around but did so anyway; moving to fetch water from the nearby stream.
((ooc: sweatdrop I apologise for taking Lyll, but I rather needed someone older to take control.))

Vagrant pulled off a salute before moving to the perimeter of the group, to the stream where Hiren was fetching water. As he passed Logan he spoke to him.
"It doesn't matter how well trained you are, things can always go wrong, even with the tiny monsters. Always be prepared and always take whatever advantage you can get."
Vagrant continued on his way to the stream, stopping on the bank and looking round, keeping an eye on the most fragile member of the group.

Hiren looked towards Logan, "A psychic ability?" He asked, "Everyone thinks mine is psycho kenesis, but no one can really tell ..." Since he was a black Mage and they created fire anyway.
