'It's pretty big..' Harpy said 'Not sure how big, haven't seen the whole thing myself...' she gave a little laugh. 'So how long do you figure you'll be staying?' She asked Gin.

[OOC: Actually, it's the fact that I'm overprotective of my characters and Mia was holding Trowa's hand... I'm just weird, ignore me...]

Heero looked over to where Alisha was laying. "It's not your fault," he said, aloud, too tired to try to speak in his mind. "Perhaps it's mine, for not having enough strength to share. And it's more than likely that ba****'s fault. We didn't know he could control it. When you're better, we'll work on it."

Heero seemed to understand what was wrong, for he said, "Go to sleep. You'll feel better later." He layed down as well, feeling absolutely wiped.

*she grew serious, biting her lip as she looked down at her hands* I- don't really know . . . I suppose as soon as possible, I don't want to be a burden to you. As it's not like I can really do anything to help. Any skills that I have, are sure to be useless compared to a gundam pilots. Unless you needed a place for another base. But with a base like this *she gestured around her* why would you?*she sated sadly* That's actually why I need the computer . . . I need a job. *she blushed*

Quatre listen Heero talking to her and wonder if he is really ok... Then again, Alisha may be talking to him by thought. He took this time to rest up his back, which is throbbing madly with pain. Quatre hears a loud rumble and distant thudding growing silent.. "He escaped.." He muttered, his bangs hanging low over his now closed eyes.. the rest of his face shows that he's not glad about the outcome of these events and tense in thought... He wished to track him down and stop him.. but they may never know who sent him. Plus, re-enforcements might come in... But if they can track him... "Heero," He ask looking up at him, his bangs not covering his eyes anymore, "Are we able to track him down by your gundam?"

Soldiers in the base were all ready beginning repairs, a few soldiers, including the Lt. were brought to sick bay, some were quite mad that the Gundam and prisoner had escaped...

((could I propose that we move forward in time over in that base since everyone's pretty much asleep over here? It doesn't have to include those at Duo's base after all. I'll edit the post if anyone objects sweatdrop ))

Duo winced as the nurse tested the range of motion in his ankle. He mentally cursed and stole a glance at Mia.

'It'll be fine,' she told him. 'Just let her do what she needs to...' Duo sighed.

'This is why I hate this stuff, you know... it hurts while they're claiming to help you,' he shot back, his mental tone annoyed. Mia couldn't help herself and chuckled.

"That's definitely a sprain," the nurse said. "Luckily, it's only a mild one, or you wouldn't be walking, that's for sure. You'll still need to take it easy with it, though." As she told him what to do as far as getting better, she also wrapped his ankle with an Ace bandage to help with the swelling. "You should be okay in a couple weeks, but definitely come back if you turn it again. It's going to feel weak and loose for a while, so just be careful. I don't have a splint right now for you to wear to protect it."

Duo wasn't exactly disappointed with that fact. It was bad enough he was basically on light duty for a couple weeks! WEEKS! But if he'd been stuck with a splint on his leg, he would have been even less happy. He sighed.

"Okay," he said quietly. Seemingly satisfied, the nurse went to check on Trowa. Duo wanted to bolt... and fast. He put his shoe back on, pleasantly surprised it wasn't too tight, and made his way for the door.

"You're not going to wait?" Mia asked.

"Outside," he said. Mia smiled knowingly.
