Masquanade I don't hope so either! But it looks like it's coming straight at us! (or relatively near). I was planning to go see SCAD (Savannah College of Art and Design). Man it's not only messing my plans to go there but also to go to MCA (Memphis College of Art). Everything is the hurricanes fault- from my hunger, to spending less time with my friends, to me suppose to getting gas but i'm not because i'm on the computer . . . <__<;; Heh . . . w00t! I know a guy that goes to scad! He's on DA as: Amuck50 He's cool. He used to live here, in NC, but moved there for college, but he visited two weeks ago. blaugh *pats yew on the back* Being lazy...ah the pleasures of it all... X3

Update:
The hurricane is predicted to hit right to the east of me. It might swing over more in either dierction. It's best to be on the west side of it (which as of so far- I am) but hopefully when I come home from school I'll have more information.

Masquanade Update: The hurricane is predicted to hit right to the east of me. It might swing over more in either dierction. It's best to be on the west side of it (which as of so far- I am) but hopefully when I come home from school I'll have more information. *shudders* I hope that you don't have to evacuate either...if you have to, please let us know so that if you suddenyl disappear we won't be too worried about you. I'm glad that I live in inland Texas, I don't have to worry about hurricanes. Just the occasional tornado...which hasn't happened to me since I've lived here.

Update:
I am evacuating. They issued a mandatory evacuation for everyone who lives south of the highway, though I live north of the highway- most places are issuing evacuations south of the interstate- which I am south of. So my family, besides my kitties and mom (because she has to work- she's a nurse), are going to my uncle's four hours away.

Hell, all of the Coastal South has my deepest sympathies. And on top of the damn hurricanes I heard this morning that they've put out a tornado warning for, I think, Alabama, Lousianna, and Mississippi. Why is the weather so freaky this year? Is it because it's an election year??

we dodged the bullet. there is like no damages here but dear god! the footage from florida! funny thing is where i was staying had worse damage than my house which is a mile away from the gulf. we had no power there but had power back home so we came back. whee sweatdrop yeah my house surived all safe and sound. 3nodding but my aunt's friend's husband got killed by a falling tree!!! eek

I wasn't feeling good (and still am not feeling so hot), so all this talk about tornados wasn't helping my anxeity levels. Bleh. But, the storm went north of us, so we're cool. smile Now for sleep....
