Draugur entered the park, mumbling to himself, "It's not my fault you tripped over my arms, they're big enough to see." He sighed loudly, continuing to walk ahead. Draugur wasn't a fan of being in the sun, he sometimes appeared a bit transparent without trying. He sat under the tree Meep was sleeping in, unaware he was there. Draugur crossed his arms, though it looked like he was hugging himself since they were so big, mumbling about the incident that took place. He got kicked out of a store since the owner tripped over one of his arms, it wasn't Draugur's fault the man didn't notice it. After clearing his thoughts, he noticed there was a strange sound coming from somewhere. "What the ? Is that purring ?" He looked around. confused on where the noise was coming from.

Meep's long tail slowly slid down from the tree, dangling a few inches from Draugur's face. He was still dead asleep, having not even noticed the man sit under him. His odd lizard-like tail swayed slowly, the tuft of forest green hair at the end lightly touching the male's nose. He looked like a large cat as he slept in the tree. The massive claws in his paw like feet dug deep into the branch to keep him in place so he wouldn't fall out. His head rested on one arm, the other starting to slip off the branch like his tail had. The long ears on either side of his head shifted slightly, but he didn't wake up. He continued to make the odd purring snore sound, the warm sun rays felt good on his back, blocking the sun from the man under him.

Draugur stared at the tail, rubbing his nose since it tickled. He slowly looked up, So that's where it's coming from. He thought, scooting out from under the creature. Curious on what exactly the man looked like from above, he floated up to the sleeping man's face. "Lizard like tail, giant claws, and wolf like ears ? Never seen something like this before." Draugur said quietly, he didn't want to wake him up. He slowly floated around Meep, examining his body type. "From the looks of it, he's a big guy. Heh, feel bad for anyone who makes him angry." He chuckled silently. Draugur slowly returned to the ground and scratched the top of his head. "Well, that's not something you see everyday."

" It aint nice to stare, kiddo." His voice was rough sounding, like he'd been smoking too long. Which was true, and a few years in hell didn't help either. He slowly opening his mismatched eyes and looked to the dark haired male. He moved to sit up then jumped off the branch. He landed with a thud on his paws, squatting only a few inches away from Draugur. Slowly, he stood up to his full height, stretching his arms over his head so his shirt road up on him again. He didn't seem to notice nor care that it did. He yawned loudly, his mouth full of razor sharp fangs glistened in the dim sunlight. " Man, and I was having a great dream of the best little hottie ever..." He ran his fingers through his messy hair, pulling at his loose pony tail.

Draugur stared, amazed by the sight of the creature. He let out a little chuckle, shaking his head ever so lightly. The creature was tall, that's for damn sure. Arms still crossed, looking like they were wrapped around him, he spoke thus, "I didn't mean to wake you, twas an honest mistake." He chuckled again, letting his arms fall to the ground. "I was curious on what the hell was making that purring noise, and it just so happened to be you." Draugur had to look up at Meep due to his height. His neck was starting to hurt, so he floated up to eye level with the green haired man.

Meep chuckled low, smirking. " Yeah, I tend to do that when I'm in a good mood. It's just a habit really." He held his hand out to the smaller man. " I'm called Meep. And if ya don't mind me saying, you would have been awesome at my old job..." His tail shifted behind him as he stood there, lazily moving around his large paws.

"Habit. eh ? No bad." Draugur shook Meep's hand, flashing a smile. "I'm Draugur, pleasure to meet you." He said. After retracting his hand, he questioned Meep. "What do you mean by that ?" The ghost scratched the back of his head when Meep mentioned that he would've been awesome at his old job. Speaking of jobs, Draugur needed to get one. Stores were beginning to pick up on him stealing things.

Meep chuckled. " I used to work in a freak show circus. I was the last act cause I scared a lot of people." He smirked, remembering back in the day. " I used to do these amazing stunts on the trapeze and tight rope. Then as the big finisher, I'd be at the highest point in the main tent and shot a gun right between my eyes. I'd fall to the ground and listen to the reactions of the crowd. Then after they calmed down a bit, I'd get back up and spit out the bullet." He chuckled again. " Some of the humans used to leave so scared from my act they smelled of s**t and urine..."

Draugur nodded, it souded like a nice act, especially if it left people pissing themselves. Though, he wasn't sure if he was to take that as a compliment or an insult. He shrugged it off and took it as a compliment. "What made you leave ? Too scary or ?" He asked. Draugur hoped it wasn't due to any personal reasons. From sizing up Meep, he'd want him around as long as possible, but Draugur wasn't in control of the circus. Nor was he too certain Meep just left on his own.

Meep shrugged. " The vampire girl that ran it closed it down. Guess she got tired of everything. So I moved on. That was about a hundred years ago. Now I just wonder around trying to find somewhere to belong." He ran his fingers through his messy ponytail. " I kinda just wondered into here and this was the first place I found. I don't know anyone or anywhere here. I only got in town about a hour or so ago." He chuckled his ears twitching again.

Draugur was a bit surprised to hear a hundred years ago, but he knew it was common for the town of Janhall. "Shame to hear, I would've paid to see you." Or just sneak in. Either way, doesn't matter now. He thought, letting his arms dangle beside him. "Well, welcome to Janhall, I guess. A wonderful place in my opinion." He flashed a smile to Meep. "You'll enjoy it here. It's a place for unusual people to fit in." He chuckled a bit. He almost forgot he was floating in the air to be leveled with Meep, he felt so short compared to the man.

Meep chuckled again and grinned like a dork. " Well, I'm as unusual as they come. I'm the only one of my kind." He flicked his ears slightly. " Heck, not even my kids are like me. Though, they do have odd ability, but I think that's genetic or something." He shrugged and looked around. " So this place is called Janhall? Kinda of a odd name, but I like it." He was one to talk since his nickname was Meep instead of his real name. " So what all is there to do here? This was the first place I found mostly cause these are some pretty good climbing trees."

Draugur had to think about his question. "Well, there's plenty of things to do around here. Erm, I would assume, anyway. What kind of things are you into ?" He asked Meep, it would help pick a location. Janhall was a decent sized placed, with a giant variety. "Well you said you were new here right ? I could just take ya around to some of the main sights here." He smiled. "Erm, I think they're popular anyway." He chuckled nervously.

Meep shrugged. " Lots of things. My kids think I'm a pretty good cook when they come and see me. For the most part though, I'm up for a lot of things. Back in the human world, I never really understood their need for all that fancy stuff with the big metal boxes." He tilted his head to one side. " My aunt and kids know about those things, but I never understood them. I'm kinda of a simple person, don't like all those buttons and noises and stuff." He was never a fan of televisions or computer, mostly since he never grew up around them. He scratched behind one his long ears, slowly leaning into it like a cat or dog would.

Taranis, a young dragon stuck permanently in a half human form and appearing somewhere around fifteen, was having an adventure checking out everything around this mysterious new city called Janhall. Ok, maybe Janhall wasn't actually really new, but it was to him. The boy was being very careful and was cloaked in a long black cloak and hood to conceal his horns, wings, and most of his odd features, although you couldn't really hide his feet, for they weren't shaped like a normal human's, not to mention with their claws. He also couldn't hide his blue skin, or the scaly accents on his face and other parts of his skin that showed. Therefore, it was clear to others that this kid wasn't human, and Taranis had noticed that here in this city, there were plenty of denizens who weren't human. However, that still didn't mean he was going to be comfortable. For all he knew the white coated wizards and witches could be stalking these streets, looking for him, to either kill him or take him back to the lab, and he never wanted that ever again.
Inching his way quietly through the park, Tarin came upon an interesting sight. Here was the most enormous humanoid creature he'd ever seen, with a long tail and long ears to boot, talking to a smaller purple hued creature with horns. Th dragon didn't know really what either of them are, but they seemed to be having some kind of important conversation. Tarin was just glad they weren't humans. The boy dragon decided the best thing to do would be to be quiet and just listen to their conversation for a while. He didn't know how people acted around newcomers. However, Tarin's plan would go astray, as he stepped in a pothole while walking, and fell face forward, yelling out in pain from a hurt ankle.
'Oh s**t....', he thought. Surely he'd gathered their unintentional attention.
