Getting back in A Samurai phase, any suggestions for some good Samurai Manga? surprised
Might try and find that shop in the big city, so I can find more lone Wolf and Cub though too. smile

Manga VS Comics.
The debate has arrived. Which is better Manga or Comics. The medium differences are pretty major. Average Comics I own are between 28 and 32 pages, average manga more like 150 to 160. Average comics are color, Manga are black and white. Comics are larger than our imported form of Manga, and read "properly". xp While most all Manga read "backwards". So which one presents a story better? Has better art on average? Has more developed characters? Better Villians?
Lets Judge them on as many points as possible. Then tally the score.
For my vote the backwards reading style and black and white stock give Manga a -2, while Comics being shorter than Manga and thus not as in depth per issue, needing "arcs" to tell a story that could be in one Manga, (not counting DBZ), get a -1.
So I'll start with my negatives but we can score with "+'s" too.
So ready?
Manga vs Comics.
Reading style: Manga -1. Comics +1.
Color: Manga -1. Comics +1.
Length for development: Manga +1. Comics -1.

Well one point I have to add is the availability of comics vs. manga.
For me, there's a very, very limited selection of comics and manga available to me in town here, however, when shopping out of town...manga is readily available in many bookstores where as comics....you can't really find them. So given the fact that manga is clearly more popular than comics, manga wins by +1.
