Khira let out some ugly curses in her mind, knowing he could hear them.
"Damn right you are going to get it." she was connected to him though the link to Rayn's mind. She went quite as she worked and then shielded his body from all pain, until she was done anyway...then she might have to give him some. She continued pushing the poison from his body working very carefully.
"Have her stay in his mind with him, she is connected same as I, Sky" she urged " If nothing else help her." she mentally commanded

Sky grinned before touching Rayn gently, hiding her smirk as the younger jumped. "Shhh... You must become a presence in his mind...Let him feel that you are near..."
Rayn blinked, not sure what she ment. With ease, Sky helped the girl out, pushing her mind into his.
Rayn shuddered, still feeling lost before touching his mind. Sky let her go and she yipped, clinging to him, needing an anchor....

He brushed her mind, reassuring her.
It is ok young one...do not fear. Your presence is comforting to me.
He acted as her anchor, reassuring her, comforting her, relishing in the touch of her mind.
He felt the last of the toxins pass, but still enjoyed Rayn's presence in his mind.

[Khira pulled from his body as her job was finished and was swaying slightly and shook her head to get her bearings back. She looked over to Sky and nodded.

She stayed there, relaxing slowly. She was still afraid but at least she was calm.
Sky nodded before sitting back, a protective hand over her stomach.
Rayn shuddered as she clung still...

Dalanor stood slowly, and got his bearings, feeling as though he had been to a human doctor and severely violated.....

He kept her calm, and basked in her presence within his mind.
This is only one of the ways in which our people share each other. All of us have a common pathway, but lifemates have a seperate pathway that can not be picked up on by anyone else.
He allowed his warming presence to surround her, keeping her at peace....

She didn't fight it when he moved to her side. Instantly she turned and snuggled into his arms, needing the shelter and protection...
Sky giggled to Khira's reaction....

Demise held her close, and turned to Khira....
"I appologize. You are all powerful, I am a mere insect..."
He felt the warmth of Rayn's body on his and the need for her grew, but he was going to be patient.
I am glad that you no longer turn from me young one. I will protect you through it all.
He closed his eyes and relished in her presence, feeling, finally feeling again....
He spoke again to Khira....
"I must thank you for taking her in, and I appreciate what you are doing for her. If not for what you are doing, I would never have found her...."

She smiled to Khira's comment. "It can't be that easy to hurt one's pride...is it?"
She rested her head against Dalanor's chest, hearing the steady heartbeat and calming...
