Daru'Khaan walked through the halls of Ra'Sha's subconscious, his shadowy form solid here. He reached a heavy iron door bound in chains. An echoing, abyssal chuckle came from behind, "You can't protect him Dark Guardian. My power is greater than yours.", Arkon hissed. Daru stood at the door, his luminous eyes staring intensely at the prison door, "The muse will keep him from you, Arkon. Her power over Ra'Sha is greater than yours.", Daru said, his voice all too serious. A shrieking laughter echoed back, "She is my key, Dark Guardian. She has made him weak, his willpower wavers with every glance and smile. Soon, I will merge my will with his and no one can stop me.", Arkon hissed back. The laughter continued it's sinister echo as Daru'Khaan turned from the door and walked away, "We will see, Abyssal.", Daru replied as he walked the halls of Ra'Sha's mind.

Ra'Sha finished his omelet and the glass of blood, sitting back satisfied at a full stomach. He looked at Kasumi and smiled, a chime echoing in his mind as he did. "Ra'Sha...", Daru started but was cut short as Ra'Sha's smile melted from his face. He stood again, removing the amulet and dropping it on the table between their plates. He started for the pool again, his eyes starting to flicker. When he reached the edge of the water, he dove in, the water turning to steam and bubbling as his searing form entered. He swam through the tunnel to the waterfall area and climbed out, walking to the center of the rock area. He stood there, his eyes turning the unholy red hue once more. "This area seems more secure from that meddler...", Arkon's voice hissed in his mind. He dropped to his knees and put his hands on his head, his eyes flickering between gold and red. "No...I won't....let...you....", Ra'Sha said, desperately trying to fight. A sinister laugh echoed from his own mouth, "You have no choice, You cannot deny me.", Arkon said from within, his voice harsh. Ra'Sha felt his muscles tighten as his blood began to boil.

Ra'Sha heard Kasumi's voice and turned his head, his left eye glowing gold and the right displaying an unholy red hue. "K...Kas...Kasumi...", he struggled to say, his voice sounding more like his harsh abyssal voice. He tried to stand but a sharp pain cut into his mind, causing him to scream in agony. "He's mine now, girl...", Arkon's voice echoed from Ra'Sha's mouth. He pounded both fists on the ground, shaking the area and sending cracks along the ground. His flesh started to writhe as the sounds of bones cracking filled the air.

As she kissed him, Ra'Sha's skin stopped writhing and cracking. His temperature dropping to normal as an abyssal hiss rang out in his mind, "This time you were fortunate. But how long will this luck last?", Arkon said, voice fading. Back in the pool room, the amulet crackled with black static, Daru's voice echoing from it all the way to the rock area. "Arkon's power is growing rapidly, I fear that next time he may not let go so easily.", his voice echoed off the rocks. Ra'Sha inhaled sharply as he regained control of his mind and body.

Ra'Sha sat on his hands and knees, staring at the ground. The world around him fading off as he stares, "I don't understand....I thought he could only grow if Daru'Khaan's and my powers were used...", he whispered to the ground. Daru's chiming voice echoed off the rocks, "I was trying to tell you before he took control, He's using your affection to weaken your will and in turn his prison. This is not supposed to happen, he's much more powerful than I originally thought...", the melodic voice rang out over the rock area. Ra'Sha clenched his fists as a tear formed in his eyes, "That's not fair! How can I fight that!", he screamed at the ground as he punched at it hard with his right fist.

The air before Ra'Sha began to shimmer as the shadows cast by the rocks began to gather at the same spot. A tall, lithe man appeared before Ra'Sha. He wore deep violet robes with a silver breastplate over them, he had long black hair bound into a braid and secured with a crystal ring at the end. His eyes were bright yellow and a face mask obscured his nose and mouth. The man lowered his hands from their hand sign to his sides as he knelt in front of Ra'Sha. "Ran'Ke, look at me please.", Noxx'Zus said, his voice calm with a british undertone.

Ra'Sha looked up at Noxx'Zus, tears in his eyes. "What are you doing here?", Ra'Sha asked, wiping the tears from his eyes. Noxx'Zus placed a hand on his shoulder, "We have been watching you, Rian'Ka and I, we have seen that you are struggling. Arkon's will is pushing past Dark Guardian's defenses with more and more ease. You must come back with me, so we can help you.", Noxx'Zus said lightly. Ra'Sha sat back on his knees, hands in his lap. "But, I can't just leave...What about Kasumi?", he asked. Noxx'Zus stood and looked over at Kasumi meditating. "She may come if you wish, or if she wishes to stay here that is her choice to make. But it doesn't change that you must return, Arkon could very well seize control permanently next time. Rian'Ka and I have devised that if we can restore your old body, then you can be free of the abyssal and realize your true power as the Lightbringer. He is suppressing the power of light within you.", Noxx'Zus said. Ra'Sha looked to the ground, thinking on what he should do.

Noxx'Zus placed a hand on his head, his mental powers picking up a dark presence. He walked over to Kasumi and knelt before her. Ra'Sha watched as Noxx'Zus placed a hand on Kasumi's forehead and inhaled deeply. "I feel a dark force over your mind, child.", Noxx'Zus said calmly, his yellow eyes gleaming. He closed his eyes and projected his will into her mind, the vision she saw replaying before him. "I see.", he said calmly as he retreated from her mind. "I feel it best that you accompany us, miss. His dark aura has contaminated your thoughts and must be purged, though I leave the decision to you.", Noxx'Zus said, standing and looking back to Ra'Sha. He walked back to where he materialized and turned to face them both. "You two are connected, by heart and by prophecy, your problems are each other's.", he said, closing his eyes.
