 Luna Winter Wade
Luna watched everyone else leave and waited until she was alone with Ryu and Marissa. Unlike her brother Ryu, Luna had inherited a gift from their mother, she could see things that others couldn't. She could see the marks on both Ryu and Marissa's hands, as well as see there was a mark on Marissa's face but she couldn't tell what it was. She approached the two of them and smiled at them. "Its about time the alpha male of the pack got himself a mate, and an intelligent one at that." She said smiling. She was glad that her brother was actually living a normal life after a few years of recovering from the incident. "Its been a long time since I have seen Ryu this happy." She said looking at him, she then looked to Marissa and held out her hand for a hand shake. "I am Luna, Ryu's big sister." She said smiling. ((OOC: ))

Marissa glanced up as she put the last of her items in her bag as she heard a woman speaking to them. As she heard the female mention that Ryu had himself a mate she tensed slightly as she glanced to her palm to see that her 'mask' was holding. She looked to Ryu and then back to the woman, not sure what to say other then to deny what the woman certainly not be able to see. "W-we are not m-mates. There are no marks to show that we are." She hoped that the female wouldn't be offended by her speaking but she had to try and make sure none knew about her and Ryu. She closed up her bags and slid them over her shoulders before cleaning off the table as she listened to the woman speaking again. Glancing to Ryu to see his reaction Marissa slowly placed her hand in Luna's not wanting to offend by not shaking the woman's hand. "It is a p-pleasure to meet you Luna, my name is Marissa." Marissa was now nervous but she hid it quite well, not showing that she wanted desperately to get back to the house and away from the female that seemed to be able to see their mate marks. She had to wonder if she was also able to see her Sentinel mark as well? If so she must not have figured out what it was yet.

Luna smiled at Marissa. "Its nice to meet you marissa, but lieing wont help you, i can see the marks on your palms as clear as day, however this mark on your face, i can only sort of see it, its blurry, odd but oh well." She said with a shrug. "congratualtions you two." She said smileing at them, Luna looked over marissa. "Mom would be over joyed ryu, to see how far you have come from those days, its sad she couldnt be here to meet you marissa, but welcome to our village." Luna said to her before hugging her.  Ryu Aidan Hunter Ryu was next in line from Luna's hugs, and she hugged him, and he hugged her back glad to see his older sister. "Thanks sis." Ryu said smileing at her, but he knew they couldnt let his sister see the mark on marissa's face, it could be bad, very very bad."Its been awhile since i have seen you sis, im glad you came back from your training trip safely."He said letting go of her."Can you do me a favor, and not tell people about the marks on us?"

Marissa Katra Darling
Marissa was just finishing cleaning off the table she had worked on when she heard Luna say that she could also somehow see the mark on her face. She went pale as she looked to Ryu, her hand covering the mark slightly before clearing the fear from her face. She turned back to Luna with a smile on her face as she spoke, hoping the woman would believe her. Hoping that by saying it was a strange birthmark that most mistook for a Sentinel mark would make it believable why she would hide it. "Oh well it is a birthmark that some mistake as a Sentinel mark though that is not possible seeing as I am not Arcadian." Marissa felt the woman looking her over and did everything she could to not show how out of place that made her feel. She had heard the woman's congratulations but wasn't sure she could feel that way yet seeing as if this woman looked too closely it would be known that she was actually Arcadian as well as a Sentinel though she only held their mark. "Thank you, though, please do not inform anyone of our marks. We wish to wait for me to be accepted before letting it be known that we are mates. I do not want to be accepted just for being your brother's mate." She hoped that what she had said didn't sound wrong to the woman for she was looking forward to being Ryu's mate, she just didn't want that to be the only reason she was accepted into the pack. As the woman then spoke about their mother Marissa felt sad for their loss but as she was hugged and welcomed into the village by Ryu's sister to glanced to Ryu over Luna's shoulder, her shock and fear clear to see before she masked it once more, not wanting to give Luna a reason to look into her past further. "Thank you, I hope the others will accept me into the pack as well." Marissa looked to Ryu as he was next to be hugged by Luna. She stood back, listening to Ryu speaking to his sister, at the mention of a training trip Marissa tilted her head but remained silent. She smiled slightly as Ryu also asked his sister to not mention their marks.

Luna smiled at Marissa and ryu. "I see, i dont blame you for hideing it then, and i will keep your secret a secret, its great seeing you both but i have some thing else i must go and take care of, i just had to stop in and check on my brother, but meeting you is a pleasent suprise." Luna said to Marissa before waving bye to them as she left, she had to go to her main office and report her training as complete for now before going off to her mate. ((OOC: ))

Ryu Aidan Hunter Ryu looked at marissa. "That was close, but at least we know she accepts you as a part of the pack, and more." Ryu said holding her hand."Want to head back home for now?" He asked her, wanting to talk to her in a more private area to explain a few things about his sister to her "I mean, i want to talk to you in a more private place." ((OOC: ))

Marissa mentally sighed, glad that her excuse for hiding her facile mark had worked. "Thank you for understanding Luna. And thank you for coming to see us before going about your daily business, it was a pleasure meeting you." Relaxing slightly after Luna left Marissa looked to Ryu and gave him a small smile as she lightly squeezed his hand in hers. As she then listened to Ryu she had to nod in agreement. "I hope my mark remains a secret, I really hope that I don't have to run again." She looked up to Ryu, a sad look in her eyes, for she knew that if it came down to it and she was found out she would not ask him to run with her. She knew his pack needed an alpha and she wouldn't take that from them. When he asked if she wanted to head back to the house she nodded her head and slipped her hand from his. "Sure, I would like to be able to relax and not have to worry about hiding the marks or masking our scents." With that she headed out of the gardens with Ryu next to her.

Ryu Aidan Hunter Ryu smiled at her and walked with her back home. "yeah,that would be good, we could just relax." Ryu said smileing and holding her hand as they walked inside. He closed the door behind them and he turned to marissa kissing her."Sorry i didnt tell you about my sister earlier, and her gift, our mother had a special kind of sight that could see thrrough any form of deception, and sis inherited it, thats why she could see our mate marks."Ryu explained to Marissa."but sis can be very understanding, ever since our mother passed away she has tried to keep an eye out for me, even though she already has a mate, she takes care of her familly, but we have to be careful...she was in a special unit under our mothers command when the cubs were stolen, we can not let her know the truth about your mark on your face, it wont go well, we might be able to change her opinon but we need to be careful" ((OOC: ))

Marissa was smiling slightly as they walked into the house and when the door was closed behind them and Ryu kissed her she smiled and kissed him back, wrapping her arms about his neck as she allowed their marks to show and their scents to mix. And although Ryu knew the truth about her Sentinel mark she still hid it, not wanting to cause him any pain by bringing back memories of the time he had been tortured. After they finished the kiss and Ryu told her about his sister's gift to see through deceptions she nodded her head and sighed slightly. She looked up to him and spoke softly. "Ryu...If she ever finds out about my facial mark i'm going to have to run again..." She looked up to him, her fear and worry clear to see in her eyes before she wrapped her arms about Ryu's waist and rested her head on his chest. "If she was there and saw what happened to you she can never find out what I truly am, she can never know the truth of my mark. You might believe that she could grow to understand and be open, but if she saw what was done to you and the others I know that won't happen Ryu. She would fear that I am just bait, trying to finish what the others didn't finish. She could even become so upset that she could come after you, thinking that you betrayed your pack by mating to me." Marissa closed her eyes and pressed her cheek tightly to Ryu's chest, not wanting to think about the fact that she would most likely have to run quite soon.

Ryu Aidan Hunter Ryu wrapped his arms around her and held her close, his left hand rubbing her back to help calm her. "Then we will just be careful and wont let my sister learn the truth" Ryu said looking at her. He held her close to him and smiled at her to help reassure her that everything would be ok. He started to purr a little."So what do you want to do Marissa?"Ryu asked her smileing at her. ((OOC: ))

Marissa looked up to him, her worry clear to see in her eyes as she then nuzzled her cheek against Ryu's chest. "But I'm afraid she will learn of the truth no matter how hard we try and keep her from it Ryu. If she was one of your pack's fighters she is very intelligent and will soon see that she will very rarely see me in my tiger form. What if she comes up and walks in on me sleeping on the couch or bed?" Marissa shook her head slightly knowing that it would be so much safer to complete the mating ritual and then leave, allow Ryu to remain with his pack. Her mind was so caught up in her thoughts that she didn't notice Ryu purring until he spoke. She looked up to him and gave him a small smile that didn't seem to reach her eyes. "Well I could make us some lunch, or we could take a short nap since we didn't get much sleep last night." As she spoke those last words she blushed slightly.

Ryu Aidan Hunter Ryu smiled and blushed a bit with her thinking of the previous night. "A nap does sound like a good idea." He said smiling at her. "So, first we take a nap, then we could eat something, sound good to you?" Ryu asked her smiling and still purring a bit. ((OOC: ok))

Marissa smiled and nodded her head before nuzzling Ryu's chest once more. "That sounds perfect Ryu. Do you know what you want for lunch yet? And should we stay in your parent's room or move to your room?" She nibbled her lower lip slightly, unsure if he would want to trade rooms or even make his parent's room their room sometime in the future.

Ryu Aidan Hunter Ryu smiled at her. "I dont know yet, and lets go to my parent's room, it is bigger than mine so we will have plenty of room, that is if it is ok with you?" He asked her. "we could sleep in my room, but like i said, their bed is bigger, and probably more comfortable." Ryu added as he purred and smiled at her. ((OOC: ))
